Charlie Berens, the Winter Lover, is having the best day after a recent snowstorm. Meanwhile, Taylor Calmus, Dude Dad and Winter Hater, is having a tough time shoveling the snow from his driveway. Taylor eventually ask Charlie if he can borrow one of his Toro snowblowers but Charlie refuses since no one else is allowed to touch them.
Dont worry snow haters...I just bought a snowmobile so it wont snow again until I sell it....after storing it for years.
Pretty much the way it goes
Yeahhhh been there brother , also the boat , the river flooded all summer three years straight , well till I sold it also ....."....AND DONT Ask about the used motorcycle the wife found in the garage. :(
Thank you for taking one for the team! I appreciate it.
That's like how have you bring an umbrella it won't rain
Right? Always happens to me. 2 years of minimal snow, sold my sled and the next year 24" came down in 3 days...would have been heavenly...
“There’s nothing like the cold crisp winter air” 100% agree. Winter air is something else
I love the cold crisp air of Fall, I can do without the slipping and sliding during the winter. I used to love the snow, but ever since adulthood, I HATE IT, all the shoveling and near misses. UGH. Def not a winter lover anymore, kinda miss those days of enjoying snowdays :(
We get it less and less here in the southeast and it breaks my heart.
Yep
@@doubtful_seer I've noticed a huge change in the winters in Michigan Indiana and Ohio over the last four decades. A lot less snow and a lot more gloom and ice. It's awful.
I'm weird, but I really like it when it's cold enough to freeze my nose hairs in the winter. I have ever since I was a kid, and I can't explain it. I don't particularly care to stay outside very long, but still...
The shovel part hitting the crack in the driveway is that best!! 😂 so me every time I shovel snow.
Yep. That was me, arse over tip in the driveway trying to shovel snow my first year in Idaho!
My neighbour has started putting silicone caulking in cracks in the sidewalk (I have no idea why) and it has a tendency to grab shovels when you are pushing snow. I’m waiting to fracture my spleen one of these days.
*wheeze*
Yep, the first snow every year. I forget where the cracks are. After the first spearing of myself with the shovel handle, long-term memory kicks in and I’m good for the rest of the winter. 😄😄
Omg same
I catch myself saying “such a beautiful day” more in the winter than I do in summer
Me too.
Idk why anyone likes summer but I’m sure y’all have your reasons
Wings of fire Boating, going outside without having to put on 6 layers of clothes, staying out later because the days are longer, more natural vitamin D intake which is huge for mental health, and the tons of other summer things to do… how anyone can enjoy winter is beyond me
Edit: For those of you STILL replying and saying the same thing everyone else is, don’t waste your time lol. Read the replies under this comment
I'm the exact opposite. I LOVE the summer. Longer days, trips to the lake, all the plants are green and flourishing, all the animals and wildlife are out and about, I don't have to worry about hitting black ice while driving, and I don't have to dress in three layers just to enjoy the outdoors. Winter is just too dormant for me. Hardly any foliage, really short days, most wildlife is holed up until spring, cold as hell. I enjoy skiing and winter camping every now and then, but I'll always take summer over winter.
Right? There are some real stakes involved in living in the winter vs summer. Winter is living! Don't get me wrong, summer is fun too- (not the sun burns and humidity and mosquitos) but the freedom is nice. Mostly other people will join me outside in the summer.
The bundled up top with nothing on the legs, best combo
Yes yes it is
I know at least two guys who think this is an acceptable way to dress all winter... I still have never gotten an answer as to why this is preferable to pants and short sleeves. Maybe the male body has a polarized temperature distribution that I’m unaware of?
@@justsomenobody889 I have never understood it either. We could probably get a couple of million dollar grant from the government to study this phenomenon. It has to be connected to the won't take an aspirin for a head ache or a cold pill or ask for directions when they're lost. Why they don't pay attention when taking things apart and then wind up with extra parts, and will die before reading the directions that come with anything. Not only that, they will take something out of the box, decide it's too big of a job so they will leave it for later, then put everything back in the box EXCEPT the directions. Later, they will tell you if you want it so bad, YOU can put it together. Which would be a lot easier if they hadn't lost the directions.
@@justsomenobody889 Core temperature is more important than limb temperature. Our digits are almost certainly warmer than yours. A friend of mine presented an evolutionary guess about that. It's more advantageous to the proliferation of the species for the female to prioritize good temperatures in the body's core to preserve life organs and reproductive organs. Males don't have that need so much, so our digits get to be warmer with a more even blood distribution.
Hoody and shorts is the midwest uniform
Last week during Oklahoma's snowmagedon I couldn't resit my Wisconsin heritage. I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks three times in two days. It was a brisk -10, I had my lighter hoodie on, the city was quiet and peaceful.
North Texas Ditto
That’s one of the things I adore about snow. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Only the crunch of snow beneath your feet. It’s magical.
Does anyone else see the irony in the fact that Charlie had an entire video about him borrowing tools?
Yup! But Lucille and Bertha are why he doesn't have the other tools haha
That’s true
I came here from that video, couldn't help but laugh extra hard!

Well you definitely can get sunburnt. In fact, it can be worse than the summer time, because the snow reflects all the sun at you. It's just that people usually don't spend as long outside in the winter, and when they do they're mostly covered
My husband reacts like Charlie when it snows. Time to get the manly snowblower out. He has 3 different shovels for 3 different kinds of snow.
