- With so many ROs on the market it can be a little intimidating looking at them. You can also check out this video that talks about the mini micro • Leader Mini MicRO Test...

This channel is underrated. 1k is coming soon!
your making me blush
This past season was our first season with our micro 2. We boiled between 8 and 10% ,sap all season.
We didn’t run it hard. The recirculating works well , for us. The #’s ,leader puts out on this machine are very conservative.
We excited all of them. Very happy with this RO.
Nice informative Video Scott.
Once you boil with a RO you will never boil raw sap again!!
awesome video on the mini micro scott. Thanks again for walking us through the process . We are looking forward to using the mini micro this season for the first time. I,m thankful that Leader has good knowledgeable people like yourself happy to help and answer questions to others learning the sugarmaking process. I learn something from all your videos great content I agree with Nate Bissell
They are easier than you think to use for sure
Man, thanks for all that info. Im getting a micro 2 in a few weeks and my biggest hold up in not getting a RO has been the perceived complexity of it. But i cant handle any more 8-10 hr work days and then 8-10+ hrs of boiling at night by myself......so thank you again for all that info. Keep up the videos, i can tell your getting more comfortable on the camera. Good stuff.
They are easier than you think. They have picture diagrams to make it easy, they know who they are dealing with.
Hopefully, definitely not a brain surgeon here...haha
@@dalelengyel8393 don’t stress about it they make making syrup a lot of fun
Wow - bookmarking this video, and will probably have questions - I bought a homebuilt RO this summer, and clearly have no idea how to run it properly, lots to learn...
They arn't that complicated but there are a few processes that you need to follow
your so right i have a 3 post 4 inch by 40 ro i bought used and it is god sent. i went from 2 gal. of syrup to 6plus per hr at 8 percent. burning about gal. for gal. syrup. love the ro. what keeps me going.
They are a sleep and sanity saver.
Been thinking of getting or making a ro for my hobbyist sugar house thanks for information
no problem
Learning a ton off you. Do you have a video on how to set up lines. For vacuum. On flat ground right now bucket brigade. Would like to set up vacuum lines.
I don't think that I have any that specifically show that but together they all kind of do. This one might be your best bet ruclips.net/video/JVTNjqP9syM/видео.html. You need to have a 2% slope as a minimum so 5" of drop for every 20'
How do you hook up the vacuum pump and releaser? I guess should have been my question.
I think a phone call might be easier than messaging 207-671-4262
How does the Mini MicroRO's performance specs hold up with colder sap? I currently use the CDL Nano and with 40 degree sap the performance is less than half of the published. (CDL told me their published specs were tested with 60 degree sap, really??) I am considering moving to the MiniMicro but I am concerned that I would see the same or similar reduction. Thanks!
So the way membranes are rated is with 50 deg water. With colder sap it will be lower. I don't have personal experience with a mini micro but the other ratings that H2O uses are pretty close to advertised. So actual real life numbers but as you go colder it will drop. Also they are rated at 2% sap. If you have lower raw sap % then it will not go as high but the GPH should be the same.
@@dunnfamilymaple Thanks for the info! I trust your input.
We just got a sp4ing tech elite 500 what pressure do you run. How do you work v1 and v2 thanks
