That dude's story about the fire service hits home. Ran into the same stuff. A lot of insecurity from the older guys. Some Lieutenants, and most Captains. They'll target a fireman just for outworking them on scene.

I resonated with the firefighter’s story. Once in Central America, I came across the scene of a traffic accident with a US Army vehicle and a civilian vehicle. The soldiers told me that the police had just taken the report, so I chased after the civilian police and got the report. I had to spend the night at the police station and depart in the morning due to Force Protection requirements. When I returned to our base camp, the Army lawyers were thrilled to have the paperwork needed to resolve matters. Our bovine, simian, and venal Executive Officer, though, met me with “Who told you to do that?” Trying to explain the importance of my initiative to HIS mission was truly like speaking with a child! He needed to read FM 100-5, Operations, but he lacked the G2 in the Brain Housing Group to grasp its concepts. I have wondered what happened to Lieutenant Colonel [REDACTED], and now I know. He retired and is now with the Fire 🔥 Department telling firefighters 🚒 to stay off social media!

This is what I'm missing, a social network of like minded men. I lost my tribe when I got out of the Army 7 years ago. I have nobody to bounce idea's, philosophies and goals off of. I don't have any competition, something about a bunch of guy's that brings out the competitiveness in me.
what do you do for work?
Currently, contract security work at a federal site. I work with some good people, they're all straight-laced, career fed guy's. They're good dudes, but they're federal suits, nothing wrong with that, just a different breed than I'm use to if that makes sense.
Some guys getting right with self, as a team. The random hate comments reek of jealousy.

Hey it's hard to get a hold of folks reasons are understandable but I have a trail blazing idea of a huge facility funded by people and willing to donate property for it in Northern Nevada by a huge finger lake half of it would be only for veterans with a modern gym aswell and you my freind I think could be a huge impact in that area when available or not just throwing it out there

Still not sure what’s up with you. You do the seals and the Legion but were tossed from each one by choice. You got the heart of a lion, I’m having trouble pinning down the angle here though, what you’re trying to do. You got the talent and ability for special forces, not many guys get through it, but if you don’t get to the end, what’s the point? What was the reason to go only to quit? Serious question. Not being a dick, but why?
I don't think he had a choice to leave the SEAL teams. He popped on a piss test and got an OTA discharge (It may have been upgraded to a General under honorable). At least he's honest about it and doesn't lie about his past like Wes Watson.
I never quit anything. I spent 11 1/2 years as a SEAL and Legionnaire brother. The Legion was get locked in a box or pivot. The idiot gets locked up in a foreign country by choice.
My angle is sharing my pain to empower others.
You should probably watch and listen to his content first, he has gone into depth numerous times not only on his videos but also never hesitates to answer the spectators at life and their innocuous questions.

I get it, nobody stays around to go to jail in a foreign country, but something in you got you through 2 incredibly hard schools, even had to learn a foreign language, youre obviously bright, what in you made you sabotage both? If that’s in another video I missed it, I started following your channel with the first legion video. I figured this was a redemption story, ya made it, then the “I’m getting the fuck outta here” video. I’m an honorably discharged US Navy veteran of 6 yrs, was a nuke on submarines, academically the hardest school in the military. Clung to passing barely and only with 40hrs mandatory night study a week, it was a mother fucker. Watched many guys doing better than me wash out, that’s why I have a difficult time understanding why anyone would leave before they were honorably discharged, seems like a waste to me. Sure, ya got the history and background and it’s amazing, something in you sabotaged yourself, “what” it was is what I’m asking. It was close to 40 yrs ago I was in school in the US Navy, different times, different vibe in the country toward veterans. Without that honorable you weren’t opening any doors. That Honorable discharge set me in a position to become a cop (can’t get on the job with anything under an honorable discharge) and retired from that, but the key was the Honorable discharge. Are you seeing barriers without it? If so, what? What can you pass on to these kids today? I think your story is badass, I like that it hasn’t kept you down and in MANY ways can help these kids today overcome some of their own bullshit and become spec war, pilots, Admirals etc because todays youth seem lost, zero purpose. I think you can do a lot of good im just trying to figure out what you’re about.

I've come to understand that if you were to walk some others path you could very well make the same decisions. It's has helped me to be less judgemental and more forgiving. I just need to constantly remind myself.
