How to make mango from real mangos! For scented oil, candles and body butters. It is spring in Australia now and we just got our first mangoes and started dreaming of smelling like mango
I use your natural fragrance oils for my business. Many customers ask me how “natural” are they and I don’t have an answer for that. Can you do a video on fragrance oils?
Hello Stacy, we're glad you found it useful! We can't exactly answer that without the expertise of the Flavor Guy (he's a busy guy) but we'll relay the question to him and possibly make a video about it. We consider all questions asked as an opportunity to make a new video to keep our audience informed. For now, you can check out our website for Organic & Natural Snow Cone flavors! :) www.naturesflavors.com/37-snow-cone-syrup-organic
That's a great idea, Ross! Thanks for your suggestion. We've got tons of videos we want to make to educate people on all things flavor, so we'll be sure to add this to our ever-growing list.
We'll talk it over with The Flavor Guy and see what he'd do. We're trying to address more suggestions so we appreciate that you're providing us with excellent feedback!
Hello sir it is very good information, I want to know which flavour is best for hookah or shisha flavour, extracts, flavour oil, concentrate flavour, or powder flavour?
Well I am trying to create something similar like four loko. I am distilling my own handmade rum and or Brandy. Do you have any ideas? I live in Mexico 🇲🇽, expat from North Dakota. How much do you charge to assist me?
Hey Bill! Thank you for the informative lesson on the different types of flavoring extracts/oils/powders/etc. I have a question. I am trying to make a powdered supplement blend for my every day use, but it tastes earthy and bitter due to the compounds inside of it. I wanted to add Flavor Powder to maintain the integrity of the powdered formulation while changing the flavor of the formulation to be more palatable. You said, in the video, that flavor powders are less potent for flavoring and don't last as long. Is there a way to use flavor powders that stay fresh as long as possible. I want to make my formulation in bulk to save on costs, so I was planning on storing away containers of it for months to a year until use.
Hello, How can I enhance the flavours of a powder (which are basically fruits flavours) is it possible to mix extract with powder, kindly let me know about this
Hi Bill. Great!! So for health mixes where you want the turpines, do you use a stronger ethanol concentration or something else? Do you have to use a two stage extraction? (pure ethanol then Cook with water?)
Of course! We recommended our concentrates for Italian ice since they do not contain alcohol and will freeze better than extracts. We have a ton of flavors over on our website!
I am the sales director of an organic candy company. Is it possible to flavor a hard candy organic of course to a standard of a sugar based candy i.e. jollly rancher without loosing the taste
Hi! Looking to buy some flavor powders. I'd be using these for powdered drink mixes (i.e. a protein drink mix). The usage on your site is showing usage of .25% to 1% by weight of total ingredients, and even up to 5% depending on the application-would this be the usage for the weight of just the dry mix, or the eventual dry mix + liquid? So the difference between lets say a 15g serving of dry mix (150mg flavor powder at 1% usage) or an 81g total serving of dry mix + 8oz coffee (813 mg flavor powder at 1% usage). Can you clarify? The difference between 150mg and 813mg in this case is significant.
Yes like the Suzie -Sam homemade equivalents ☺️ I'm trying to make a Coconut pound cake 😋 that I used to buy at a small upscale grocery store , it was too die for so strong in flavor . I can't even come close to the sweet very strong flavor I'm a mile away , I'd like to get a block away..😂 I think I'm closer now after hearing this video.

Our flavor oil are not meant to be consumed directly. If you are going to use It, it MUST be used in oil-based applications. Not to be used in water-based applications!
Great question, thanks for asking! If you are using a dough-based bait we suggest a flavor oil (Garlic, Licorice, Anise, Cheese). If you are using the sparkling-fish bait, we recommend a flavor concentrate (in the same flavors) and a gum to really stick that flavor on.
thank you. Definitely helps in deciding which products are best for various uses.
