4:38 I always wondered why they wanted your trade ins, why trade in’s was such a big deal. Now I know.. that’s smart! Reselling those preowned devices in the lower end segment. Very cool!
Impressive, very, Impressive, Informative and Insightful Interview about the importance of the Prepaid Space, segments and over-lapping Network coverage …
Hey Max, great interview, and I'm very happy for how far your channel has come. Just some constructive criticism though. Please mute your audio track when the interviewee is speaking. It's a bit distracting when the interviewer is off camera, but the audience can still hear them going "uh-huh" "hmmm", etc.
I really enjoyed this interview. Learned a lot from this interview. I often wondered why Verizon was buying all these brands. I appreciated the questions you presented. I was impressed by your interview.
The downside to the unlimited hotspot on the total wireless plan is the throttled speed specified in the plan details that could hinder usability for certain use cases
If you are looking at the prepaid segment, the best innovation in that space is happening in the Philippines. I hope Verizon look into how competitive the prepaid market is there... and will only be good for Americans if we are able to adapt that system here in the USA.
Verizon Prepaid might be good if you need to bundle a cheap tablet and hotspot plan along with the phone 99.9% of tasks can be done on cell phone device including downloading and uploading RUclips videos to mirror onto other RUclips pages. Some odd tasks may need a tablet or hotspot plan maybe a paid survey compatible with laptop desktop or possibly a tablet device only.
So i am really rethinking about my opinion about prepaid i definitely know that i will be missing out on the high tier phones. I am considering total wireless a lot.
So here’s an idea of Verizon, let’s not focus on buying all these brands you can have more money let’s focus on your network so when I’m in a crowd of 1.5 million my phone doesn’t go directly to SOS mode and then casually go back to 5G ultra wideband and become a brick….
@@Aus10c but this is too much under 1 company.. Verizon essentially is swapping customers back and forth caus the customer spent all these brands are under Verizon
I agree with Tyrone back from Techlife. Sprint did something similar back in the day with multiple prepaid brands. Eventually Boost Mobile became it's flagship value brand and all the others mostly disappeared.
Really insightful interview. Also look at you interviewing big name people. Really proud of how far your channel has come.
Thank you so much, that means a lot!

Excellent interview very good look into Verizon prepaid excited to hear that in the future they will have more perks to choose from.
Thanks Joe! I’m also excited for what’s next for Verizon’s value segment.

Prepaid is actually much cheaper and more fiscally efficient.
They need to consider consolidation ! These brands essentially compete for the same customers at the a very similar price point
You want competition. Not monopoly

@@Techlifechannelwelcome Oh okay, i thought you meant all prepaid

I would not be surprised if Bell comes back from the dead.
