I think we’re 6 months from visible and total merging. The offerings are too similar baring promotions. Total / tracfone seems to slightly edge out visible’s with multi line, setup tech, app, etc. Annual plan is a lot to commit to with visible. Too many variables.

Because of my location, we use 2 lines of visible basic @ $25/mo per line. The hotspot speed limit is at 5mbps but I have a good signal and can stream 1080p. I am in marion county florida. If you need 4 lines and customer service, Total might be your best bet. If you only need 1 or 2 lines and UW is not in your area, and you don't need to talk to customer service: Visible basic is the best plan. If we ever get UW (LOL) then we will get visible+ annual plans. I don't know if we will ever get UW here.
Deprioritized means every Verizon customer AND US Mobile customer gets data on the tower first, and if there is bandwidth left over you now fight with the rest of the MVNO customers for the scraps. OR....Pay $25 a month TOTAL to US Mobile and get 35gig high speed data w/ 10gig hotspot high speed data that is priority data. OR Pay $44 a month TOTAL to US Mobile and you get 100gig priority high speed data and 50gig hotspot high speed data. OH, and with US Mobile, YOU choose which network you use! Verizon, T-Mobile, and starting August 1st AT&T is now available. You WILL have to pay an extra fee for priority data on AT&T, I don't know the amount. T-Mobile is deprioritized.

Solid plans, Stetson.
Are the 5G unlimited and 5G+ unlimited plans on the same QCI level as Verizon’s grandfathered Get More/Play More plans when not connected to UW?
Yes they are. Verizon PR confirmed it with Stetson.

Stetson, I may have missed u mentioning it, but the first month of their high end plan is $65.
Yes, you’re absolutely correct. I believe I mentioned that all the prices were with the auto-pay discount applied.
@@StetsonDoggett Unfortunately, first month is a mandatory $65.
Website says video streams at 480p on base plan and total 5g, and 720p on 5G+… not 4k stream speed, can anyone confirm this?
Hey some mistakes in the video less then 2 minutes in. The plans were 30, 40, 50 and 6p dollars respectively up. The prices you show on screen is if you had auto refill turned on
Can you advise a plan for someone like me who wants to have 2 lines - 1 for my phone - 1 for my Due which I use to read Kindle books
I would switch to us mobile warp 5G or visible but in my area verizon only has LTE while AT&T and T-Mobile both have Mid band 5G.
Sometimes the LTE is still faster though
You can still get gsm and they use tmobile towers albeit you’re deprioritized
When US Mobile Dark Star goes live (AT&T network), I think they will be an excellent option on the AT&T network!
Do Total mix and match?
You can. I'm on 1 line (just me)and can switch back and forth plans month to month, no problem. Don't know about multi-line mix and match with the new plans.
Hey Stetson! How did you verify that the 15GB hotspot with the Total 5G Unlimited plan is capped at 5Mbps speed? Correct me if I am wrong but their website only indicates that the 5Mbps speed was for the plan with unlimited hotspot?
You are correct! That is my mistake. Hotspot speeds are at full speed for the Base 5G Unlimited and the Total 5G Unlimited plans.
@@StetsonDoggett Thank you for the response! What are your thoughts on Total Wireless as a company? I've used Visible and US Mobile, both are good but I learned about Total Wireless' 50% promotion and was thinking about porting two lines over. The unlimited premium data is enticing while the 15gb a month hotspot will be more than enough for me.
Also, I appreciate the videos you make! Very useful when researching different cell carriers.
@@StetsonDoggett Thanks for the response and also making these helpful videos!!
I was wondering what your thoughts are on Total Wireless as a company? Like is their customer service okay? Would you recommend them? I've had experience with Visible and US Mobile and both are good so was wondering how Total Wireless compares. I am looking to take advantage of Total Wireless' 50% off promo since the unlimited premium data is enticing and 15gb of hotspot is more than enough for me.
I think we’re 6 months from visible and total merging. The offerings are too similar baring promotions. Total / tracfone seems to slightly edge out visible’s with multi line, setup tech, app, etc.
Annual plan is a lot to commit to with visible. Too many variables.
I wonder if T-Mobile will Rebrand Metro by T-Mobile back to Metro PCS
I got a laugh out of this 😂
Did they charge the logo tfw to total
Im on AT&T and my plan would be to swap over to this carrier with my iPhone 13 Pro Max then eventually upgrade out of pocket to the 16 Pro Max later
Is it actually confirmed 4k streaming?
That’s pretty good value for 50$ per month if so!
No I have total 5g+ and streams are capped at 3mbps
Speedtest the base 5G and the prioritized total 5G to see if it’s usable?
$47.50 isn't bad on the Total Wireless 5G+ plan for 2 lines.. Got a FREE Samsung Galaxy A54 as well.
Do you get disney plus no ads as well?
Yes, that is correct! It's included for free on the Total 5G+ plan.

Are you sure the Total 5G Unlimited plan's 15GB of hotspot and Base 5G Unlimited's 5GB of hotspot is throttled? The website only says Total 5G+ is throttled, presumably because it's unlimited.
Oh shoot! I'm looking at the website now, and I see what you mean. I may be mistaken on that!
@@StetsonDoggett Definitely would be something worth testing :)
@@saerend9905okay! My mistake! I just tested and the 5GB of hotspot on the Base 5G plan is uncapped! Or, well, capped at 25Mbps on 5G UW and uncapped on LTE.

I have the old unlimited plus right now and no 4k native streaming. For what i read on the new unlimited plus it only comes with 720p resolution.. Am i wrong?
Can you make a video on how to set your phone up in a way where you use a smaller amount of GB’s so you can downgrade plans?
I'm so happy with my Visible $45/month plan, which is now $35 for life with 2023's Thanksgiving promo they had.
Deprioritized internet will never be better than the big 3
So confusing. I want a total wireless plan with the most data. Where I can be on line, watch videos, play games and not worry about it. I don’t understand hot spot.
You may consider the Visible+ plan for $45/month. Details here: www.bestphoneplans.net/plans/visible-plus
On the old Total by Verizon Unlimited plan $45/mo. What does it mean "Unlimited high-speed, then data stops"???
No slow downs on both the $55 Total 5G Unlimited Premium Data plan & $65 Total 5G+ Unlimited Premium Data plan. Only the $40;Total Base Unlimited plan is deprioritized. The premium plans also comes with priority premium data in both the 5G UW/ regular 5G/4GLTE service on the Verizon Core Network without any slow downs.
What are the best family plans for international roaming?
US Mobile Unlimited Premium would be my pick.
Is there a plan that gives you unlimited hotspot with no speed cap? Im looking for it because I want to share wifi with my pc.
5:45 the old plan says unlimited high speed then stops lol what does that even mean?
That's a mistake, it should just say unlimited high-speed data!
I’m currently living in San Francisco, is UW of visible + available in my area?
@@jack94123 it should be available in the city. Double check that, Verizon network should have UW there.
I’m scare small wireless company if they shutdown what should we do with our phone number?
Us mobile or total wireless!?
T-Mobile is deprioritized.
if they had had apple watch on the $50 plan it would put a big dent for visible+, i would port from visible and pay the extra $5 a month for 4k streaming and unlimited priority on LTE/5G and 5G UW it would be the perfect plan!
It’s not 4K streaming. See Stetson’s pinned comment.
Been thinking about switching to total by verizon since they changed the new plans. Switching from t mobile post paid - 7 years now with t mobile. The only thing is the reviews on total by verizon are horrible.. from cell service to customer service. Anybody have them now or have used them in the past?
Total by Verizon is the thing of the past since it is in fact owned/created by Verizons acquired company Tracfone Wireless Inc. New Total has no relations to Tracfone Wireless Inc or Total by Verizon. Total by Verizon was also on the beta cloud based network. New Total is on the Verizon Core Network.

Where is the list that shows what countries I would be able to call???? I would totally get this plan if I could get free unlimited calls back home to Peru
Go to the website and find out
Looking forward to this one.
It is not called Apple Watch. It is called Cellular Smartwatch support as Samsung Galaxy watch also supports cellular connection. Stop using very generalized terms.
Is Total's new $50 plan unlimited data also for LTE? And does it require a 5G device?
It is, and in order to use 5g, you have to have the phone.
WHY WOULD YOU SELL PHONES WITHOUT CHARGERS .
Please made a computation btw Verizon plans and Total plans
Can you do a Google Fi exposé on how they steal data from customers like they did me last year. I turn on the mobile data for like couple hours didn't use it for anything but got notification that i used 5gb of data. I got banned from Reddit for talking about it but other people are talking about exact same thing lately.
Us mobile premium is 44 for their highest tier plan im wondering why he didnt include it
Visible+ has 50GB of priority data on LTE and unlimited priority data on 5G UW, plus a free watch line and other perks. I feel Visible+ is a bit better of a plan overall for the price. US Mobile is still good though!
Is the 10 go in Mexico per day or?
It's 10GB per month of roaming in Canada and Mexico.
Stetson, 4K Streaming on UW only? I’d be in shock if this included LTE/5G!
Depending on your location with 5G & 4GLTE.
Huh? Makes no sense. Either 5G/LTE is stream throttled or it’s not. Several VZW plans unthrottle UW, of course, but none unthrottle streaming on LTE/5G. This would be the first!
5G & 4GLTE can do 4K depending on where you're located at is what I'm saying to you. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Very simple.
@@jeffreygoldman8120 5G + 4GLTE is unthrottled. Some streaming services may slow down the speeds which means you may not be able to do 4K at that time or depending on where you're located at, at the time. You maybe in an area where there's dead spots like crazy.
