Just put sth in usb a charger cable phone..etc. if usb have volt 5 volt steady( phone stays charging )than is light issue. .if usb 5 volt turn off (phone charge on off) on it mean it motherboard issue 😊

Found a 50R6E1 by the curb with the same problem. Tried the reset but when that didn't work I remembered a video you did on the TCL pretty much same model. Pulled the back off and found two 10uf 350V caps at the top center of the mainboard all puffed up. Swapped them out for 2 10 x 450V from my junk drawer and it fired right up. Now has a new job as a gaming computer monitor for the grandkids. As always, you are the Man!
I did this and it still keeps flashing on and off 😭😭😭 but I liked ur video and I'm glad u helped others just wished it would've worked. I just won't buy another Hisense tv. Also my Vizio crapped out too so buy an LG or Samsung people!!! It's worth the extra money in the long run!
Yeah I did that too I powered cycled I did everything it finally got to the point where it would let me set it up then it cuts off right in the middle of setup open comes back on
Our Samsung did the same before we got a hisense so just generally speaking nothing is made to last these days regardless of the brand, however my Vizio is still working and I’ve had it since 2018, it’s starting to fade in color and brightness a bit but still working so 6 years still working not too bad considering we’ve only had the hisense for about 3 and it’s really annoying and frustrating

You saved me from having to get a new TV. Tried the reset button and it kept rebooting at an even faster rate. Sent my friend this video and he ordered 400v capitors, soldered them in, and the TV was working normally again. You're a lifesaver!

Dude thank you so much it didn't work the first time I tried but the second time I held it for a minute and it was still turning off and until I released the button then it reset it and started working again

Yes; it's a factory reset. You'll have to reenter credentials for any apps that use a login. At least for me, however, when I logged into my Roku account on the TV, it did reinstall all the apps I had.

@@justinvongmany4263 Yeah as long as they fit and say 10uf and 350v you'll be good. Make sure the TV is unplugged and hold the power button down for like 30 seconds. Or do that and leave the TV unplugged for a while. Charged capacitors can kill you
I have a Hisense 65Q8G. After fixing the backlight, it just starts and after around 10 to 15 seconds, it turns off itself. I could not find a reset button on the tv. Do you have any suggestion for me in fixing it?
So my TV keeps restarting when im on Disney plus or Crunchyroll. Im beginning to think its because i have to have the volume up so loud on those apps. It happens on the tv apps and when im using my xbox to stream. Works perfect on RUclips tho. 🤷🏼♂️
This is what mine is doing now... Turned tv off one night everything ok then next morning it looked as if it refused to turn on. We did have huge claps of thunder and people said theyd seen lightening strikes not too far from us but everything except the tv is still working fine. I noticed when i went to help that i could see hisense.roku tv on the screen pop up in a loop like yours but the creen just kept getting darker each time and now you need to shine the light at the screen to see it so im thinking the back lights are gone but for the rest of it, even pressing the reset button doesnt even work. Its on a constant continuous loop of booting up. Weve tried everything except throwing it out the window...
Possible bad Wi-Fi module or mainboard if wi-fi circuit is built into mainboard. First make sure your modem is not the problem. Call internet provider.

@@RonHelton Eh, not sure you want to do it that often considering all the setup that is required. I think I got mine in 2017 and it just started doing this last night. So, it went a little over 6 years. I do on occasion remove all power overnight, however, when the TV seems to be lagging.
Yo BigDogg so my 50" hisense started doong the reboot thing but when it flasshes the Hisense Ruku tv on the reboot its really dim. I tried holding the button for 20 sec, the screen flashed but then started doing the same thing rebooting over and over. What is my next option if the reset button dont work? I just had this happen to my 3 year old 65H8G Hisense Android TV. Mine does not have a reset button I just can't understand why. Called Hisense tech support and was told it is most likely the mainboard and that I should call someone to check it out. Hope this helps. Thanks for the video!

How about Hisense 43B6700PA which has the same problem but doesn't have a reset button?

Try holding button longer. Remember that the TV has to be ON when holding the button.

It was probably doing that before the backlights went out. Just had corrupt data when TV tries to update itself.
