You helped me replace the LED strips in my Hisense 58”. I got the new strips in and followed your video step by step and it worked great. But when I started it back up it started booting and rebooting over and over so I looked you up on RUclips again and you fixed me up again! YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Sending you some bucks for the help! You do a fantastic job of showing and explaining how to do stuff! Thanks so much!

Found a 50R6E1 by the curb with the same problem. Tried the reset but when that didn't work
I remembered a video you did on the TCL pretty much same model. Pulled the back off and found two 10uf 350V caps at the
top center of the mainboard all puffed up. Swapped them out for 2 10 x 450V from my junk drawer and it fired right up.

Our Samsung did the same before we got a hisense so just generally speaking nothing is made to last these days regardless of the brand, however my Vizio is still working and I’ve had it since 2018, it’s starting to fade in color and brightness a bit but still working so 6 years still working not too bad considering we’ve only had the hisense for about 3 and it’s really annoying and frustrating

Thank you Big Dog I just used this method to fix a Westinghouse Roku TV which was exhibiting this same restarting behavior.

So did the error of rebooting occur after the firmware update or before?
This seems so weird. Did the new backlight LEDs change the voltage settings and the
main board did not know how to deal with it?

It was probably doing that before the backlights went out. Just had corrupt data when TV tries to update itself.

@@bigdog8882 Okay, that makes sense. I read somewhere that it is recommended to factory reset them about once a month to clear the corrupted data? Sounds logical.

@@RonHelton Eh, not sure you want to do it that often considering all the setup that is required. I think I got mine in 2017 and it just started doing this last night. So, it went a little over 6 years. I do on occasion remove all power overnight, however, when the TV seems to be lagging.

I just had this happen to my 3 year old 65H8G Hisense Android TV. Mine does not have a reset button I just can't understand why. Called Hisense tech support and was told it is most likely the mainboard and that I should call someone to check it out. Hope this helps. Thanks for the video!
