Appreciate this video! Unfortunately my tv is doing the same as yours but worse. The backlights are not coming on at all, but if I shine a flashlight at the screen, the tv is behaving like yours. I have a Sharp LC-65Q7370U, it's doing the exact same thing. I tried using the reset button to no avail. I opened it up looking for a swollen capacitor, but all of the capacitors look find. If I purchased a main board and just swapped out the boards, do you think that would solve the problem?
Bigdog i know this is an old video already but figured id ask just in case. If you have the time i'd really appreciate it. The tv had been booting fine every now and again, but decided to do a factory reset (thinking corrupt firmware maybe) and it got stuck in the same bootup loop. Tried measuring at 200V level with a multimeter at the output of the LED connection, but it doesnt seem particularly obvious that its doing something weird. The voltage drops by maybe 10 V (from 160 to 150 at the white wire but from 80 to 30 at the red wire). However, the caps look fine. Should I just change them regardless even if they dont look bloated? I dont have a multimeter to check capacitance so dont know what else to check. Transistors dont look burnt, capacitors look healthy (as far as I can tell). Are there any other checks you'd suggest? I'm relatively familiar with electronic equipment testing but dont know what type of voltage I should expect on the backlight to make sense of it. Any sort of help would be a blessing
If you have an LG 4K 43", may have a backlight issue, turn the TV on, screen lights up - more around the edges, sort of dims, but looks like its on...my question has to do with when you turn it on, no incoming signal, should you hear white noise from the speakers? If the volume is (or has been) turned up, will it normally do that? Thanks bro!
@@bigdog8882 I opened it up, none of the capacitors are bulging ... Main board says it's 27365 per Hisense. But after opening it up it's actually 272945. I wanted to avoid buying both boards if it's not necessary. Regarding my other question, do you sell main/power boards?
Hi mate, I have a Hisense 32" Smart TV (Hisense 32P4). I watched your earlier video about the reset button. Unfortunately, my model does not have a reset button. I’ve watched this video and have had a look at the circuit. There seems to be only one capacitor for the backlight LEDs. Also, visually it seems to be fine - it’s not swollen or discoloured. I don’t have a multimeter that can test capacitors. Would you suggest I replace this single capacitor, or would you suspect something else is at play.
@@bigdog8882 hey, wow! Thank you for responding. I got given the TV, and thought I’d have a crack at fixing it. It’s only worth about $150 repaired in my market. I have checked the LEDs they all appear to be working. However, this is not verified with a multimeter-the strips are glued down, with the terminals underneath, and I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to put them back in. I’m thinking this is a dead end project for me at my current level of ability. Would you agree?

Great vid, but gosh I would never use 2nd hand electrolytic caps in a repair for a customer, they don't age gracefully when they run hot on a buck converter like that. I don't know what the weather is like there but in Oz where it gets hot as hell in summer that thing would probably bounce inside of 12 months.

May have a backlight problem. See if the picture is darker in a particular area when it reboots.
Appreciate this video! Unfortunately my tv is doing the same as yours but worse. The backlights are not coming on at all, but if I shine a flashlight at the screen, the tv is behaving like yours. Last time I replaced my lights on another tv, I cracked the LCD, so not sure if I want to put myself through another light change
Thanks for going through this. I'll be trying it tomorrow!
Great video…You saved my TV! I watched your first video and it reset did not work. I opened up the tv and found the swollen capacitors. Replaced them and problem solved…. Thank you again for great video.
Thank you for the information on this Hisense fault
Awesome thanks! I believe this should fix my TV!
Came here confused about my tv
Leaving more confused 😂😂
Thank you for this video. You save me money.
I have a Sharp LC-65Q7370U, it's doing the exact same thing. I tried using the reset button to no avail. I opened it up looking for a swollen capacitor, but all of the capacitors look find. If I purchased a main board and just swapped out the boards, do you think that would solve the problem?
Yes, replace the Main
Thank you a lot man. It worked on my unit, however, it's not receiving signal from my remote.
I love how he says "this is obviously " ohhh really...it's obvious huh..lmao. great video
Do you do repairs? I have a black screen with a constant bootloop and dont trust myself to do it myself.
Thank you sir. Your method work for us as well…!!!
Thanks bro!
Bro, do you sell Mainboards? Hisense 273265.. also is the reboot loop a mainboard issue, or a powerboard issue?
Model 75H6510G Variation G2021JB
From my experience its the backlight or most likely main board.
@@bigdog8882 I opened it up, none of the capacitors are bulging ... Main board says it's 27365 per Hisense. But after opening it up it's actually 272945. I wanted to avoid buying both boards if it's not necessary. Regarding my other question, do you sell main/power boards?
I cant tell if my capacitors have gone bad but im having the same exact problem so im gonna replace them and hope for the best
Quick question big dog is this the same solution if the tv won’t turn on just flashes the infrared light
What capacitors are we supposed to order exactly for replacement?
Thank you for this video sir!!!!! Can't wait to try this
Having trouble finding this 50r7e motherboard is the 50r6e motherhood compatible to use on this hisense model?
Great detailed tutorial sir 👍🏽!!
An other great fix ! you're the boss man...very interesting, as always !
Im having the same issue but i have the 2 mother boards in the back and my compositors seem to be fine can you think of anything else it might be?
Hi mate, I have a Hisense 32" Smart TV (Hisense 32P4). I watched your earlier video about the reset button. Unfortunately, my model does not have a reset button. I’ve watched this video and have had a look at the circuit. There seems to be only one capacitor for the backlight LEDs. Also, visually it seems to be fine - it’s not swollen or discoloured. I don’t have a multimeter that can test capacitors. Would you suggest I replace this single capacitor, or would you suspect something else is at play.
probably bad board. or backlights. you have to have a shop take a look at it.
I have a Roku 65" TV 65R617 with the same problem. I'm reading online and some people are recommending to change the main board. Is there potentially a problem with the backlight filter capacitors on the circuit board for the TCLs as well? Thanks
Most likely Mainboard..
@@bigdog8882 I have this same issue replaced all boards and still having the issue
About to find out with my less than 2 year old Hisense ROKU 65" 4K that is doing the same thing, if I can actually find the caps anywhere. No luck on Amazon so far.
I'm having this issue with my 58r6e and replaced the 3 capacitors it had. Unfortunately it didnt change anything and I dint see anything noticeably damaged. Any advice?
Probably bad backlights.
Thank you
What if the capacitors don't look swollen , but your TV is doing the boot loop. I already tried to reset it with no luck. So its definitely something else. Could the capacitors be bad and not be swollen?
Is this the exact same TV as the one in the Video?
Idk if the same model but yes it's a hisense roku 55". Looks exactly the same
@@illthoughtsYOU would have to check the capacitors with esr meter or check the voltage, otherwise its usually the mainboard.
Great walkthrough! Subscribed 🤘🏽
Welcome aboard!
50” Hisense ROKU
Model #: 50R6E1
TV stuck in the loop..
Reset (-)
How do you “know” if capacitors are no good?
& is there any chance this issue is coming from the power cord itself?
TIA !
NO
where is your shop. I've hisense TV 43 Inches horizontal lines dribbling..and
sometimes won't light up. but
there are heard..
i have the same problem on a Hisense 65R61G keep rebooting plus no backlight , my backlights dead , no swollen capacitor but i still changed them and no change. what could i do ? replace mainboard and backlight ? is backlight failure could make tv rebooting i dont tgink so thanxxx
Is the picture rebooting, or No picture, just clicking? If u have any image at all when it reboots, then change main board.
@@bigdog8882 i only see hisense roku tv with a flashlight ( no backlight ) appearing and then tv shut down like rebooting exactly like you but with no backlight . red light flashing 3 times
good job i have a 65R6 behaving the same. will try that
Great vid, but gosh I would never use 2nd hand electrolytic caps in a repair for a customer, they don't age gracefully when they run hot on a buck converter like that. I don't know what the weather is like there but in Oz where it gets hot as hell in summer that thing would probably bounce inside of 12 months.
Probably best to find a higher voltage rating greater than 350 volts.
I give up. I don't dare take the back off.
I don't have any of the tools I see you using.
I'm known for breaking things especially electronics. I don't have to do anything but show up.
I guess I'ma g🎉et a new tv 😢
Does it work on Hisense vidaa too? My just boot once and shows nothing. Just light blue screen with sound. Is it a capacitor problem. How do i reset when my power button only turn ON but not Off my TV? Please help. I just described the problem im having.
Hey, Bigdog I wish I had found this video before I replaced the motherboard. Yes, I put in a Nee motherboard and the screen still does not come on. What could possibly be the problem now??
i knew it i am having a capacitor issue, as it blinks 1 saying its a power supply issue. so this is it. thanks.
good day sir. i got a question. is it posible that this solution fix a similar problem but with an off backlight? (same boot loop)
I have a Hisense Tv that has a red blinking light and won’t turn on is this the same problem you think I’ve tried to reset and nothing
Probably not. Maybe backlight problem.
@@bigdog8882 I tested the power supply board and I’m not getting any voltage where the led plugs in
@@bigdog8882 I unplugged the led and plugged power into tv and tested to see if I was getting voltage where you plug led into and nothing
where do i buy or order them? and how do i make sure they’re the right ones?
I only found 400v 10mf capacitors. Will those work?
Hey BigDog8882, I just sent you an email. I'm the Plant Manager at TV Parts Today - hopefully it didn't end up in your junk/spam folders. Looking forward to hearing from you.
The capacitors are arriving tomorrow hopefully this fixes my tv as i need it for work and can't afford to buy a new one
Great video!!! Good information
Would 400v work?
