    I had a Yamaha ttr 125cc 05 model I always found them quite easy to work on as everything is easy to get to the carb straightforward to take off u don't have to reach far in to get to things as I've had to do on my 2 strokes when I've been rebuilding them but 4 strokes can be a headache to work on compared to 2 strokes as u have more parts on they're to work on than 2 strokes and I hate doing valve clearance such a pain lol but thanks Tom for the video really enjoy watching them 👍👏😉

      Yes, four strokes do require a bit more maintenance but it’s pretty straightforward. Thanks for watching.

    Can't wait to see what exactly the issue is. I have "that feeling" you already have a good idea!

    how did you fish the electrical wires through the small area to get them off?

    I recently purchased a 15t front sprocket on my 2004 ttr125L, but my inlet guide on my crankcase won't allow me to put my chain on because there's not enough room should I take that inlet guide out?

      You could but it may be risky if the chain jumps. Possible engine case damage. Maybe go with a smaller back sprocket instead?

      @@QUITE_frosty which ground wire? Main one to the battery?

    • @QUITE_frosty
      @QUITE_frosty Год назад +1

      I think it’s the ground for the kill switch it comes off behind the kickstart into the bike I couldn’t see where cause it ripped off when the engine came out

      @@QUITE_frosty it’s been a long time since I’ve worked on one of these. You can probably find a manual online, they usually have a good diagram of how the wires are laid out.

    Was removing the starter before taking the engine off necessary? Thanks for the video!

      I can’t remember if it has to come off, might not need to? Thanks for watching

      @@TomsTinkeringandAdventures I got the engine off with the starter on, no problem. 2013 LED model. It's really helpful to take everything off except the top engine mount bolt, put a milk crate under and pull that last bolt, sat on the crate and came out smooth. Easy as pie!
