I've enjoyed these all my life as a NYC Italian boy , but with all the family cooks, they were always bakery bought. This Christmas I will make these thanks to your easy to follow tutorial. Love from your newest subscriber
Looks great. 👍Even though oven vary in temperature, approximate time would give a little guidance. Thank you for recipe. 🌸Wanted to make these "since...for ever"🤭
Hi Elomere, you're right. Sometimes we manage to do it (without eliminating music altogether) but it's not easy with 3 kids. We will have a dedicated location for our videos soon and there will be some minor improvements.
The Babas look delicious but just looking at them almost gave me a diabetic coma, 😅. Aww, so sad, I can’t eat them but I can make them for friends and family. 😊
I'm sorry I just made these today and nothing of what you state came out not even close and I followed the recipe to a T, it does not take 40 min to rise not even after 3 hours. Very disappointing and a waste of my time.😢
Hi Raul, sorry the recipe did not turn out well. To understand the reasons first of all you have to understand that Babas are not Muffins. It is not enough to just mix everything together and bake. Babas are made with a leavened dough that requires a minimum of knowledge about it, related to the right flour to use, the correct way to work the yeast and the correct leavening temperature, all information that is not the subject of this video. If I write in the video that the dough should double in 40 minutes, you can be sure that is the case, otherwise I would have written something different. So the right comment would have been: my dough does not rise in 40 minutes, what did I do wrong? We will soon post a much more recent and detailed Baba video.
The culinary tradition of any country in the world is made up of food prepared by hand. As you saw in the other Baba video we can also use the planetary mixer, but not everyone has the possibility to buy a planetary mixer, while everyone has their own little hands. To avoid any problems, we have an ancient recipe handed down from father to son. It involves the use of a few grams of soap and an abundant amount of running water. I don't think we need a video recipe on this, or do we?

I'd leave out the music. It's nicer to hear the sounds in the kitchen.

Precisa ser com as mãos? 🤔
I made the Italian way, using my hand and it tasted great! Only thing missing is the Italian flour. Norwegian flour can't match that.

Thank you for the recipe. Question, "brewer's" yeast or cake/fresh/regular yeast?

Thnak you very much!

How long to bake? There are no baking times here
Hi! There isn't cooking time. Bake the babas until golden brown on the surface.
What fruit in the end? Quali frutti?
Hi. It is Cherries in syrup.
Yummy 😋 yummy 😋
Can you convert all “cup” measuring to weight ?
Please add instructions to your recipes in print. Thank you

This type of sweet we make in India without eggs and frying in balls n with sugar syrup without rum... It's called gulab jamun ❤
frying is so, so unhealthy , sounds more like a donut.
7:05 everything reminds me of her 🥵😥

Please use a whisk, it looks gross using the hands

@jornalraciona, you use whisk to wipe your ass? You should pair up with the "spoon" below.
Use a spoon! It's disgusting!
Repulsed? I assume you use spoon to wipe your ass?
