Genuinely fascinated by the idea of Feral humans, especially their origins. Are they indians who escaped the trail of tears, former confederates, people driven to madness, escaped prisoners, former nomads turned feral, ancient stone age humans, inbred cannibals, neanderthals, cursed individuals, descendents of Ancient Solutreans, escaped asylum patients, non - humans, Bigfoot, lepers, mutants, loners, cultists?

The true quote unquote “Feral Humans” that most people talk about are descendants of a large group of Scotch/Irish settlers who set up a living Deep within the remote forests of the Appalachian mountains. Many of them came over here to start a new life away from the preying eyes of what was considered status quo. As Steve mentioned in this video. Some of them were heavily involved in witchcraft and black magic, some of them wanted to practice incest, and others were just not fit too live in everyday society. As a result, these people are so far removed from society that they truly are feral by our normal everyday standards.

Yeah, from experience I can tell you that "something" is other people walking around with guns. If you don't have a gun, you're gonna be victimized by the guy who has the gun. Have a gun, make sure they know you got it = safety. It's nothing more than an arms race just like it always has been with primitive areas.

The Bone Eater Story really hits home. My maiden name is McCormick, Scots Irish. Josiah McCormick was probably my kinfolk.
The blue people were in Kentucky. A genetic mutation. The feral people are not just one species of humans. Some are the white skinned Indians who escaped the Trail of Tears and were here before Europeans ever set foot on this land. They were vicious and cannibalistic and scared the Native American tribes who tried to kill them off. They retreated to the caves and underground tunnels way up-in the hills. Then there are the Wood Boogers who carry people off. They are out there knocking on trees and whooping late at night. Big suckers, some people call them Bigfoot. By the time the stink hits you, it’s too late to run. Yes, there are some regular people out in the woods who are not very sociable. They may be running from the law or just lost their minds and went wild. Funny that the other things don’t bother with them much. I guess they are considered cursed or something. The one that really makes the hair stand up is that thing that can mimic a human voice. They try to lure you closer and even call you by name. If you’re inside, lock yourself in and stay there. If you’re outside, run like crazy as far away from the voice as you can get. You might make it……………

The story is an old one, passed from my grandmother who had the second sight. She made her own medicine for whatever ailed you. Lord help you, if you coughed where she could hear. That so called medicine burned like the fire of hell as it went down your throat and exploded into your stomach. I spent a lot of time at my grandma’s house. She sat me down and explained how the world worked and why I was special because I knew stuff. Things I shouldn’t have known and always before it happened. I experienced the mimic calling my name when I was 7. There’s a chill that runs down your spine and grips your heart and squeezes. I am lucky. I was inside the house. Grandma let me sleep on her couch that night and she watched over me all night. There really are things out there in the dark woods. Maybe the Indians left something behind, but you can feel the presence of those that came before you….

Hello, I think of my grandma as more of a medicine woman. She was part Native American Indian. She didn’t grow up on the reservation but she was born on the reservation. I’m not sure who taught her. In my lifetime, I have only seen her do one negative working or spell. It was on the man who shot her son to death. She didn’t share anything negative with me and I’m grateful. I only deal in positive energy. Her husband, my grandfather was murdered when my Dad was 16 years old. In the end, she taught me how to live with the land. My brother and I took care of her animals before and after school. I learned much from sitting at her feet. Both sides of my family are Scots Irish. I love learning about the history of my ancestors. People scoff at the old legends, but there is a grain of truth behind them. I believe that I was targeted because of the gifts. I was saved from drowning at 6 years old by an angel. My Dad said I was so deep in the water that he couldn’t find me for over 5 minutes. I remember talking to the very pretty lady who asked me if I was ready to go home. We talked it over and I decided to stay. She pushed me up and up until my foot was on a log and my head was above water. The water gushing out of my mouth and my chest hurt a lot but I wasn’t afraid. I will never forget the moment my Dad surfaced and saw me. That was the beginning of my journey and I am 65 years old now. It’s been an interesting journey. I’m glad I made the decision to stay here. 😊❤️🌹Brenda

      @@NanaBren Hello Brenda🤗
      Witch is not a pejorative word in my mouth, it also means Medecine man/woman, but in an ancient european way. I am glad to read you again! Your GrandMother was for sure an amazing woman, what tragic losses she had to survive! She gave you the gift, it is so precious;
I am also glad your Angel was/is there for you when you were a little girl in danger, because it is obvious to me that you have a real talent of "Conteuse"( sorry I don't know how to translate this french words properly: storyteller? But in a more ancient way..), and beautiful stories to tell.
I, myself love tales, folklore( I'm fascinated by North American Native's folklore, amazing!), and I want one day to sit at a table in a little house, in the countryside, with my dog, a cup of sweet tea, and begin to write many fantastic stories.
I'll be glad to know that you are writing the story of your childhood with your Grandma, and happy to read it!
We, sensitive and creative beings, are here to give, and stories are immortal.
      Thank you again, Rena🤗

My buddy lives in Asheville. Told me about a mountain man or feral person he picked up . Said as he drove a mountain road this unsightly character of a man with unkept hair and very little clothes just basically fell out of the hills right in front of his Jeep. He asked if he needed help or ride to which he obliged. Said he wanted to go to a town to sell some things he made and needed some things to take back. As i understand it he said the guy told him he only comes out once a year and lived in a type of shack he made. Ive always believed in feeal people as being the bigfoot many people see. It makes sense to me when people describe the smell and hairy appearance. Animal hides not properly tanned would have a terrific odor as ny buddy also stated about the man he gave a ride to.

The all-time best and well spoken video I have ever heard on the topic of feral humans. I was always a firm believer that the government and military knew about these feral humans for many, many years. They downplay this but they always knew. They have restricted places in national parks for that reason. I don't care what anybody says...I am a firm believer there are feral groups out there who de-evolved over generations and inbred. Also...in uncharted wilderness, you don't know what else is out there that deep in the woods.

That's because it's horseshit. What most folks don't realize is that while the mtns of Appalachia are ancient, these forests are not. The vast majority were clear cut in the 20s and 30s. These forests have only grown back over the last 80 or so years. Hell, game animals have only become abundant again in the last 40 years. People have this weird idea that there are unexplored areas here, but it's just not true.

If you are going to go camping/ hiking in the Smokey Mountains 90 percent of the time you are going to be safe. But always bring a gun with you. Never go hiking/camping alone. Always bring a dog with you. The dog will alurt you to anything weird. I personally don't sleep in a tent I sleep in a hammock. Down in Florida we have people that live in the Ocala national forest in what we call compounds that unless you know at least one of them and how to approach them they will kill you and make tools from the bones and whatever they can use someone in one of the compounds invited me to take them home for a festival they were doing and when we pulled up to the gate he yelled out something to let them know who it was because they had fully automatic weapons and very well armed and they trained every 2 weeks for a invasion I found out they were all really nice to me and everybody was on some kind of drug I woke up 3 days later with 2 girls I don't remember and had to find my truck and let them know I was leaving cuz they keep count of how many people are there in case someone goes missing most of them were like normal people and some had things wrong with them from I think inbreeding like a guy didn't feel any pain so he would get into fights let the person ware themselves out and then jump on them he was one that I stayed away from but all of them took care of me and while you are there they share everything so if you need anything they will make sure that you get it the ones that never leave don't even want to be paid because they don't use money if you need anything you just get it they farm and take care of each other and live off the grid it was definitely a experience years ago that I'll never forget oh and when hunting or tracking they where putting on dead animals skins and skulls to hide their smell and body that's why when people see them they look like a beast but they will give you warning to leave before they get violent but they are weird about their land and have hidden places all in the woods and know how to move around without making much sound

How could they afford fully automatic weapons if they are forest people with no income? Autos are crazy expensive even if you get them illegally.

Hi new here, I'm from Florida but have spent over half my life coming to Asheville to visit my family for holidays and summers and whatnot, I'm pretty adventurous so I've done a lot of hiking and rafting in the Natahala and was wondering if that story is true?😳 I don't mean to be rude or anything I'm just new to this channel and am not sure if these are supposed to be true stories or not, kinda hoping not because now I never want to go back to Natahala😂

I heard another story a yr. or two ago. About what looked like cave people coming out of the woods around Cades Cove. I remember that one man was shot with an old type of arrow. Park patrol managed to shoot one of the cave people with his gun. Then more arrows started shooting at other guests in the park. More park people started shooting back. Some Cave people got hit. Then more cops/military swarmed Cades Cove. The man who was shot with the arrow was taken to the hospital & of course, the big heads swore him to secrecy, along with any other visitors left at the park. All the cave people were rounded up & taken away. Bet we will never know where!!

The narrator call these humans feral, evil etc without irony. But it is us the civilised Homo sapiens that are going deep into the forest, where they live, and gunning them down with gunships, even though the creatures are unarmed and not subject to human laws. If you want to talk about ritual, the military is one of the most ritual heavy organisations in the world.

I live in northwest Georgia, and about an hour from the foothills. I've personally seen 2 blue people since I've moved up here. The first was at an apple orchard in cartecay. He stood nearly 7 foot tall, and was as blue as his jeans. The second was an attractive blonde woman, walking the side of the interstate. At first i thought she was covered with tattoos, until i got closer, and saw she was a blue as the man i saw years earlier.

This episode of "Tales Untold" is fascinatingly scary.
The prehistoric story about the feral humans of "Great Smoky Mountains National Park" did not end with Dennis Martin in 1969, and still continues.
Are "feral humans" the same ones who if you hear your name being called in the Appalachian wilderness, go in the opposite direction from where you hear your name being called and act as though you didn't hear your name being called, for your safety: ruclips.net/video/3WHf50rhZlw/видео.htmlsi=L77Ql2c_xF0YqVoH?
