The thing I love about Mr. Ballen's storytelling is that you are not even consciously aware you are being told a story. It's like you are actually there and it is happening to you. That is a rare quality.
it's both his best and most disturbing storytelling quality. I have had to take a break from his videos for a few weeks a number of times simply because it was starting to creep into how i thought in daily life. I would bet it's the reason he has started telling some positive stories on his channel. Which BTW MrBallen you could 100% start a side series where you tell mostly positive but interesting stories. You're a storyteller and I would wager you don't have to just tell these kinds of stories. That would be really cool. To hear you tell funny stories or touching stories, etc.

I live in a small town of 800. We have a bike path that’s beautiful, both sides lined with trees but I would never go there unless my husband was with me. In bigger cities that has bike paths like ours, women were attacked. It’s scary because you never know who would be hiding in the trees. It’s probably been around 20 years ago since I’ve been there.
I went to quote a job in the country broad daylight no one around for miles and I did not like it. I could have made $5k in a week but I didn’t like that feeling being there alone was horrible. Couldn’t imagine being there at night
I often think about how my friends and I would explore the woods as kids in the 80's. No food, no water, no way of communication. Our parents basically were just in hope we'd return home, and they had no idea where we were. Fun times, but I couldn't imagine it today.
Same. My Blue Heeler is smarter than I am, and I don’t hike without her. I know if the Heeler runs up the driveway,it’s a person. If the Lab runs up the driveway,it’s an animal. If they’re both running up to the gate, it’s someone with a dog….
@@BlueDingo555 Smartest dog i ever knew was a friend's blue heeler named Tippy. Black with a white tip on his tail. Pitbull shaped head. Fearless, he could chase cattle as big as a rhino out of the garden, making them jump clear over a 6 ft fence. We were looking after our friend's farm while he was away for a few weeks. Tippy had different barks for people or for animals that came up the drive. Woof Woof! Arf Arf! Ruff Ruff!... He could talk too. On one hot summer night he was barking "Nike Nike Nike!!!" It was about 2:00am, I woke up and told my boyfriend, 'Tippy just told me there's a snake in the yard' ... boyfriend said - yeah, right - didn't believe me. He went out the front door to check on Tippy, I heard him bring Tippy through the farm house to the back porch, then he came back to bed with a pale white face and gave me 'a look'. He told me there was a big rattle snake wrapped around Tippy's water bowl (Ssssss mine. Mine! Ssssss). The farm was located on the side of a mountain in Southern BC where water was scarce. I really liked Tippy, good dog, and Tippy liked me - we understood each other perfectly. 😊👍🇨🇦 True Story. This was 30 years ago and I remember it like yesterday.
We humans can do that too, unfortunatly most of people do not train that anymore. Always talking and thinking when they just should listen, smell and feel. I bet every last one of those feral people would be able to notice other people from 50 meters.
I love how you have 6M subscribers but still mainly just sit in front of a green screen and talk, no flash, no clickbait, just pure stories, really goes to show how much talent you have
As an experienced backpacker, I can confirm that the scariest creatures you will ever encounter in the wilderness are other people. This story really freaks me out lol.
You are 100% correct. I realize that a griz or cougar could shred me in seconds, but at least with them, I know what they want and for the most part, they behave rationally. With people, you can never know what they want or what they are capable of. And people often "work" together. I agree with your comment completely!
Stepping into that reality can make you realize just how hardy our ancestors were. They definitely lived short, but exciting lives. It's harder to live off the land than most people think.
Please Mr.Ballen don’t run out of stories I’m actually living away from my country and I don’t have parents nor any relatives ever in my life to talk to. Your stories are what comforts me as I always feel like you are a close friend or someone from my family telling me a story to listen to ❤ Thank you for what you are doing
Thank you for commenting something personal and not being like the brainless stans who post "Mr ballen is the best storyteller on youtube" on every single one of his videos.
Most scary stories youtubers just seem to be reading posts directly from reddit in monotone or overly dramatic voices, but Mr. Ballen has a genuine "dad telling his kids a bedtime story" energy. And I love it.
Until the feral humans overhear you know they exist. Then they have to kill you and your whole group to keep it secret. Only hope is if Bigfoot comes to save the day for a payment of beef jerky or that there’s enough bullets/guns to kill those smelly fucks who look like they’re walking dead extras.
I just found out I have 3 stage cancer. They hospitalized me immediately. Then my 14 year old son was listening to you.now I'm addicted you help me more than the treatment I am going through. Love you and thanks for getting my mind off the pain.
Mr Ballen puts me right into his stories. I get chills, the hair on my neck goes up, my anxiety goes through the roof. That’s a brilliant storyteller. There is something so special about him. Thanks for taking me all over the world!!
I have never been so uncomfortable while watching a story. Goosebumps all over, mainly because of the way you tell the story. You did an incredible job, as always.
When I first came across Mr. Ballen over a year ago, I was hesitant because I’m not big on RUclips storytelling. However; He has a magical gift that immerses me into the story. I get so stoked when I see a new video update. Thank you, John for your time and energy that goes into these stories.
I’m watching this in broad daylight, in my kitchen, while doing dishes. Just at the part where he sees in his peripheral vision the dark figure running toward him, my 6-year-old came running into the kitchen. Startled the hell out of me. That just shows how talented you are at telling these stories.
I was downstairs many years ago watching Salems Lot, must have been around 3am when I felt someone stood behind and to the left of me. I slowly turned around to see my daughter who must have been around 3 at the time just standing there looking at me. Dressed in a long white nightshirt made my jump so high I must have almost hit the ceiling!
Kids can be creepy. I love mine, but sometimes they get up in the middle of the night and stand there and look at me, and will wait until I say something to them like "get in the bed go back to sleep". My eldest is 13 going on 14 in 2 weeks and when she was 2, she would sleep walk and just stand there. I know that people who sleep walk will attack so I would have to be careful. This is off subject but I do not feel it is sleep walking if they have a weapon. Lol there was a case where I believe a man killed his wife because she woke him up. He had that fight or flight experience going and I think he was also acquitted of all charges because it is a known condition.
This one hit home for me. I've lived in shasta county my whole life and have experienced some pretty unexplainable things in these woods. Around 20 years ago my uncle disappeared in a area just south of castella. His dog returned home but not a single trace of him was ever found even after large groups searched for him. I just worked in the Lassen national forest area last year because of the Dixie fire and let me tell you those woods get dark not just physically but mentally. I love your stories Mr ballen. I could tell you some pretty interesting ones of my own.
When you go camping you better be prepared for a ringing bell, a guy stalking you for directions, weird noises, people stalking your camping area, land mines, bigfoot, guys being very tall and tapping on your cabin and the roof, other cryptids, and a whole bunch of other things. Mrballen has taught me nowhere is truly safe lol
My woods are safe! The Pembina Gorge of North Dakota is safe as hell. There mountain lions and wolves and bears but they don't really mess with people. The most dangerous thing here is the Moose.
i gotta say.. .from when i found u "what i saw in my room still haunts me" to now.. the growth ive seen in ur story telling is amazing. u were clearly always great hence why i was hooked vid 1, but man.. ur ability to tell a story now is crazy!! havnt missed literally ONE upload and am excited for all the future ones to come!
I laugh about this with basically every MrBallen story I listen to / watch. I just have to wonder what other format could these tales possibly be told in? Even if you're reading the words from a stack of papers, you're still telling a story lmao.
Thing I love most about Mr. Ballen is how no matter how well the photo relates to what he's talking about, he has the common courtesy to tell us it's not a real photo. No matter how much we already might know it is/isn't
The hand gestures, eye contact, detailed explanations and tone of voice, it’s all so brilliant and really improves the stories. I absolutely love your storytelling abilities and your videos never fail to wow me
@@NASkeywest you’d be surprised just how many people can’t look at the camera while speaking, it can be really intimidating. So yes the eye contact is impressive
Me having a relaxing and chill Sunday afternoon. Oh Mr. Ballen uploaded a video let me check it out. All relaxation and chill has now disappeared and I'm on an adrenaline high ready to escape these "people in white" even though I am safe in my own home. Mr Ballen didn't simply tell me this story he placed me in that camping trip together with Matt.
Yeah, I grabbed my baseball bat, too as I'm heading to bed...you know, just in case those people in white came circling around my bed and try to steal my Doritos and beef jerky from my third floor apartment.
I watched this video few years ago and could not stop thinking about it even until this day. I had a dream about it and it randomly shows back up on my RUclips feed.
Great Story. Thank you. It struck a nerve, because of an incident many years ago: We ( 7 teens) camped on a Oregon beach on 1970. I awoke with a feeling of something being wrong. And, wrong it was. A woman was crawling toward our isolated camp on the beach. Confronted, she ran. We all awoke and armed ourselves. We found another strange man in his forties also very close hidden behind a driftwood log. This was the " Charlie Manson era" and it really terrified us. Footnote: I've run into similar strange people ; possibly a cult who claimed there was a cave system under Mt Shasta. Right. But I' ve not hiked without a firearm for 35 years. Thousands of miles of solo hiking for over fifty years left me with the lesson for those in the next fifty years: Don' t hike alone. Travel armed. Keep aware, not paranoid, just realistic. Dont be a victim. Project strength.
I've hiked alone but where I live the hiking trail always has people on it. I've stayed away because there are too many people but wow after hearing stories like this I'm grateful that their are lots of people I encounter. Sometimes I'm alone but nothing weird has happened.
I saw in the comments on a different comment that the cave system you mention is “hippy liberal bullshit propaganda” 😂 I just wanted to say that lol. Also, glad you’re okay man that sounds absolutely INSANE. That’s why I bring a gun no matter where I’m camping or hiking. You never know.
I never go camping without at least a .45. a big trail like this? Id have two; Ive heard the stories of the Appalachian trail over here on the east coast.

I’ve listened to all 3 & the one with the Dogmen at least 6-8x each, I cant get sick of them lol they’re amazingly terrifying!!!
People have been saying Mr ballen is the best story teller on the internet for over a year now but no one talks about how he literally just keeps getting even better as he goes. It's really cool. Dude has not lost his passion for this at all
@MrBallen , I'm Alaskan Native and Walrus' do not have tails, but they do have flippers both front and rear. Also Eskimo's do ferment and and eat them (flippers). They are generally locally (in Alaska) known and referred to as "Stink Flipper" and are prepared by burying walrus flippers in the ground with a protective bag covering for about two months, dug up, and eaten with seal oil and salt. Enjoy!
That part where he still decided to continue after his first experience in the camp is very much like what usually happens in horror movies... he's just really lucky to have survived and live to tell the tale.

@@JustAnotherAccount8 As someone who has been “crazy” like involuntarily hospitalized crazy, it sounds like the guy was the one who was crazy, specifically psychosis. What he is describing is classic hallucination, down to the constant sensation of being followed and watched. My guess is after getting spooked and something stolen the first night he wasn’t sleeping anywhere near enough and that combined with the physical exhaustion caused him to enter a psychotic episode. It’s likely the episode resolved once he felt safe and was able to sleep for a long time in the motel. If the episode was induced by sleep deprivation getting some sleep would resolve it quickly.
I live near Shasta, and it's true that there are so many stories of strange happenings on the mountain. The craziest ones to me are the people who disappear from places where it is seemingly impossible to disappear from -- like parts of the mountain where there are no trees or hiding places, and they were with a group one second only to not be with them the next, and no sign of them is ever found again. So many things I want answers to!
Makes me wonder a bit if there are hard to see holes. You wouldn't think a person would be able to make a full-grown adult vanish suddenly without a sound if they really are close to other people. However, sometimes there are pits or holes people don't see, and that could happen so fast that someone could be "there one minute, gone the next". Like when someone falls in a well. Of course, there are also other things to take into account, too. I bet some of the people who 'disappeared' never even went there and it's just a cover story for a murder, using the stories surrounding the area to make it sound more believable. Things like that.
@@emeryltekutsu4357 this is the answer. Shasta is full of limestone caves. Me and my dog almost fell into one years ago. My brother saw the hole in time and screamed at us to stop but it was overgrown and very hard to spot. Not even the dog saw it. We most likely would have died as when we peered down into it we couldn't see bottom.
I live in shasta county and my uncle disappeared years ago off of Gilman rd/fenders ferry without a trace. His dog returned home but he was never seen again.
I have watched all of your videos/stories, but this is one I keep coming back to over and over again. As an aspiring hiker, it's just so damn terrifying......
I live near the Appalachian Trail and Ive seen some WILD things out here, and there are people who you look at and just instantly worry you. I REFUSE to hike that trail without a firearm anymore.
Enjoy. I found him about a year ago and I binge watched all his stuff in about 2 months. Now I only get to look forward to maybe 1 story per 2 weeks or so, lol.
I have three rules when hiking: 1) always carry a large friend (357, 44 mag, 9 mil, etc.), 2) hike with another large, competent male (usually my brother), 3) make sure my large, competent male carries a friend (357, 44 mag. 9 mil. etc.). These are good rules to prevent feeling vulnerable.
I grew up hiking and camping in Boy Scouts. We had 3 major rules: NEVER hike alone, always have something to protect yourself, and if someone is following you, turn around and leave.
Finally someone sensible. I've heard too many of these camping stories of people going alone and getting stranded and nearly dying. They're amazing to hear about their survival but I can't imagine why these people go alone or don't have some way to communicate with someone else of some kind of danger.
Same here We also was told that at minimum hike with 3 people If someone gets injured: 1 goes for help, 1 is injured and 1 stays with whoever is injured
I've never seen someone that can build suspense like MrBallen. He's so descriptive and narrates with such passion that is so captivating. It would be interesting to hear people's ideas for turning the tables in such a situation, if two people were stalking you on a mountain trail..how would you make the hunters prey? and set up an ambush..with limited equipment?
I love that you have gone back to your paranormal roots. Miss these stories where I can feel my heart racing along with the storytelling. Caught myself saying out loud "run mate, just run"

I actually met Christopher's mother a few years back traveling through Colorado, she was a very kind lady and helped us out tremendously, she was more concerned for our health than of anything else and so she told us about her son Christopher's story and actually showed us some proof, because it's not every day you run into the mother of the guy from "Into The Wild". She was an amazingly kind and warm hearted woman and I hope she's still doing well.
I quit telling my kids, "keep that up, and you'll get hurt". Now, I simply say, "This looks like the beginning of a Ballen story", and then proceed to narrate exactly what they're doing. They stop the dumb thing immediately, but they do give me the eat sh!t look.
I really enjoy the way you put so much detail into the story and explain every part so thoroughly. A lot of storytellers make it sound like a detailed news segment and I tend to zone out and lose the plot of the story. With your videos I stay tuned in and on the edge of my seat for every story I listen to. I still haven’t plucked up the courage to listen to any paranormal stories yet though!
Lore, while entertaining, is an ancient form of recorded history. I’ve always stated that Mr. Ballen is the most gifted living storyteller. Because, with the advent of technology, story telling became a lost art.
1. Never go hiking alone. 2. It's not fun if you're being stalked. 3. Bring a flashlight. 4. Send the like button to the forest. 5. Share every single one of these videos; these are the best stories, told by the best storyteller. Way to go, Mr. BAllen !
This was one of the scariest stories I have ever heard! Imagine being alone in the woods and having people stalking and terrorizing you. The whispering he kept hearing was creepy, too. Very unsettling! You did a great job telling it, too. ❤️
I'm thinking this would make one helluva movie if shot properly. Fucking insane. I'm thinking they were expert trackers being I imagine they basically lived in the mountains
This is what I've missed! The true "strange, dark and mysterious" content. Everyone does true crime stuff, you were unique in your mysterious phenomenon stories. This is like a call back to those days. Do more of these type stories, please!
I still like the True Crime too because he finds unique ways to tell the stories. Not a big fan of the paranormal, especially when its starts off with a disclosure that this story isnt verfied. Anyone can say anything on Reddit.

God bless you. I wish you the best possible outcome. That was a lovely tribute to Mr Ballen. Storytelling and the oral tradition runs strong in our culture and in cultures all over the world. It is a special way of sharing our history. By telling stories with your friends when you meet up with them, you carry on this tradition. And I think Mr Ballen wouldn't mind if you shared some of these stories with your friends also. You make an important contribution to this world and to your friends. May the White Light of Christ Surround you and Protect you.
I used to listen to scary stories in my hammock at night after hitching all day. I was a homeless traveler from 13 to 20. I ended up settling in Texas of all places but I got a really good job now, my dog really misses spanging the corner and sleeping in the woods but I'm over it.

@@Alexandra_Hill Yeah you might be right. Although, the young kids coming up today seem to think that being 30 years old is actually very old. So much so to the point where they think life is over when in actuality, life is just beginning.
This reminds me of your story about a family that went camping near mt Shasta. Their 3 year old son went missing at night, then reappeared in a thicket 5hours later. The Toddler said another grandma like his took him to a cave and asked him questions. The area around Shasta seems very unsettling.
I definitely prefer these kinds of storys, that are more like your early stuff, rather then the true crime type videoes (though you make those ones entertaining as well). You're so good at storytelling, you could make reading the phonebook scary. Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm, MrBallen.
Yeah opposite for me aswell, i prefer hearing stories that are true rather than campfire type stories, though i can appreciate it must be hard to find true stories constantly

I am an English teacher in Europe and I have told all of my students about this channel because MrBallen speaks very clearly, and his stories are incredibly addictive. So I hope that at least some of my students will practice their listening skills and their understanding by listening to these stories. To be honest, I keep checking for new stories every day. I LOVE this channel. And it has taught me to never go to forests, or caves, never to go diving, and never to stay in mountain cabins, not even with friends, because they (the cabins) are all haunted - just kidding, of course. I still go to forests alone - but my short trips have become more like adrenalin sports as I see murderers and monsters behind every tree. But I LOVE this adrenalin. My trips have gone to a different level, lol.
Camping in Silverado canyon in 92, had someone walk a circle around the tent me and wife were in. Left as soon as i cocked the revolver, that was a good feeling right there. Next morning saw there was another person, stayed about 50 ft away.
Ahhh you needed your little gun 😂 why are Americans so cowardly? Why just get out the tent and ask him what he wants and use your fists if had to? Your wife must of been embarrassed and ashamed by you
I love your current rate of stories, Mr. Ballen! Having one a week here, a *podcast exclusive one* once a week, and hearing an old classic on the same podcast once a week is great. Love you and I pray for your well being all the time. Keep up the great work! God is shining brightly in you as you give life to these stories. What a gift he has given you!
Thats no bullshit either. Ive thru hiked both the AT and the PCT. The PCT was definitely a more rugged trail with alot less hikers. On the AT you can head out at alone, and it was literally impossible not to find hiking companions. Infact, it was a guarantee that you would meet people and fall in with a group. Theres just tons and tons of other hikers on the trail. Especially the first 1000 miles or so. Thats not the case at all on the PCT. If you are heading out alone there, you are ALONE, and will almost certainly be on your own. You go days and days without seeing a soul. It can be very isolating. And especially around Mt Shasta, its impossible not to think about all the people who have gone missing around there. It truly is an alarming number of people. This story sounds absolutely terrifying. Beyond terrifying. And its exactly why I'm NEVER unarmed when I'm in the forest. My .44 has gone with me on every single hike or expedition ive ever been on. I would not even consider being out there like that without it.
As if any of you have ever experienced such a thing... Im from the PNW and Ive spent decades in the backcountry hiking rafting and working SAR as a Wilderness EMT (including litteraly working and teaching in the Mt Shasta and Lassen NFs). This is a 1 in a million scenario and most people get freaked out by the noises of the forrest.
Spent lots of time in the wilderness, have seen, heard and witnessed things that made my blood run cold. People are the most dangerous thing one can encounter in the wilderness. I relived some scary memories listening to this. Thanks amigo
As soon as I heard Mt. Shasta I thought "Ah crap, that region is notorious for missing persons and that hiker must have disappeared as well". The ending was comforting knowing he made it out ok. Just love Mr. Ballen's talent for drawing me in, placing me right into his stories.
Same. I thought he was going to get killed for sure and it would be a case of someone finding what's left of his remains and them finding a journal or a phone with videos recordings of his last moments alive, before being killed. I am glad this story had a happy ending because usually they don't. My sister lived in the Mt. Shasta area and she told me that many people went missing in the Mt. Shasta area, but than a ton of people also go missing in Humboldt county California. Way more than in Mt. Shasta. I'm surprised Mr. Ballen has Not yet done any stories of all the people who gone missing or been killed in Humboldt County California. a LOT of people get killed there. I've seen documentaries about how dangerous Humboldt county is, very, very dangerous.
I have just stumbled upon Mr Ballen and he literally has me knodding in agreement whilst he's speaking. His story telling skills are fantastic. So glad I've found him!

I'll be honest, I binge-watched most of MrBallen's videos while I was at work. It was a very toxic work environment, and his videos kept me sane and got me through the day. Its very easy to just listen and allow your imagination to be present in the story. Thank you so much for your videos!
i hope you can get a better job, that toxic environment is not worth it to stay in. best of luck to you 🙏🏼 i'm a housekeeper, so i fully understand needing some true crime to get you through the day 😂

first time i discovered Mr Ballen , I'd spend hours on end listening to all his dark strange and mysterious stories. And I can finally say there ain't no other best story teller in RUclips than Mr. Ballen. I'm a big fan all the way from Kenya🇰🇪❤️
He is the best. What Lurks Beneath has a pretty decent channel you should check out but it's not MrB! He has a pretty good story telling ability as well, though. It's a shame that oral historians and story tellers aren't as valued in today's society as widely as they were in the past. It was once and still is a very treasured skill in some places as I'm sure you are aware, my friend. Greetings from Brooklyn NYC!
This is one of the most thrilling stories I think you have ever told. Listening to this in bed before going to sleep was legitimately terrifying. The way you cover true crime is exceptional, but I was beaming with joy after seeing that this might be one of the more supernatural leaning episodes. And it did not disappoint. John. You are the best!
When I was living with my parents my dad would walk in the living room and see me watching your videos. Over time he really grew to love watching your videos and pretty soon had watched the majority of the videos on the channel. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me and my dad another thing to bond over. Even though I’m half way across the country now those memories of watching your videos with him brings me so much joy and happiness.
I've actually hiked a small portion of the PCT. We (there were 4 of us) started at Yosemite and ended at Mount Whitney. We never had any issues like this story, but a bear did climb a tree and did manage to grab one of our food bags! Thanks again for another awesome story John!
You probably didn’t have such problems because of “us” and luck. Hiking alone is vastly different than hiking with 2+ people. The guy in this story got unlucky that the crazies in white were stalking him while the people in front of him or behind were lucky he took all the attention away.
@@HypocritesExposd What i can tell you is, this was back in 88' when we went on the hike. We had 2 food drops and almost had to leave half way through from not receiving one of the drops (not that, thats something to brag nor complain about, but the most notable thing was, that when we got home, my dad had a heart attack 1 month afterwards. Now, one thing anyone whom has listened to John's stories, should learn at least 3 things... 1- Don't ever go hiking alone. 2- If you ever see a sign that says don't go past this point, don't go! And 3- John's one bad-ass mofo story teller and you should have subscribed man if you haven't already. Oh, and BTW, the whole trip ( 220 miles in 27 days) I was always way ahead of the others and yes, I did get the feeling as if I was being watched or something quite a few times. When I got this feeling, I wod quickly get back to my group. I was 16 at the time.
I've hiked that section as well. Bear canisters have been mandatory on the JMT for quite some time, at least a decade or two. Backpackers are not permitted to hang food from trees. Bear canisters are also mandatory in Lassen. I'm somewhat inclined to believe that this story is entirely fabricated or a bear took their food and their imagination went wild seeing/hearing things in the dark.
@@steveobrien4130 don't even separate from a group I was in the scouts though so even as a young boy I knew better than to ever do this lol. One of my favorite things about Mr. Ballen videos are the random distance measurements. Such as: "Matt thought to himself: He's not worried that the people left. He was most worried that they were hiding a few feet away behind a tree. (3 feet = 1 m)"
The thing I love about Mr. Ballen's storytelling is that you are not even consciously aware you are being told a story. It's like you are actually there and it is happening to you. That is a rare quality.
Thank you! That’s really cool!!
it's both his best and most disturbing storytelling quality.

Your biggest fear should be he'll die before getting through half
I don't even feel completely safe walking in the woods during the day time, I can't imagine the fear this hiker went through. Absolutely terrifying.
It's an unsubstantiated claim so there's no telling whether it really happened. Still a good story.
I often think about how my friends and I would explore the woods as kids in the 80's. No food, no water, no way of communication. Our parents basically were just in hope we'd return home, and they had no idea where we were. Fun times, but I couldn't imagine it today.
LOL, Grew up in the Mountains, the woods are a lot safer than towns and cities. By the way, this story is probably fake.
This is why I always go hiking with my Australian cattle dog. He can see, hear, and smell anything that seems off

Yup. I see it as going back to reality lol
Wow. You said it so well, it makes so much sense. Thank you so much for this
Even the wilderness isn’t true reality. It is a set up. Reality is found in spirit which manifests into quantum mechanics which manifest into matter.
Stepping into that reality can make you realize just how hardy our ancestors were. They definitely lived short, but exciting lives. It's harder to live off the land than most people think.
Especially going there all alone. Use the "buddy" system so you don't end up as a Mr Ballen story.

Heheheh

Yup, don’t go anywhere without it!!

Same here
We also was told that at minimum hike with 3 people
If someone gets injured: 1 goes for help, 1 is injured and 1 stays with whoever is injured

yeah turn around to their side

Nothing matches the terror of being in a forest, knowing that you’re being hunted down and your instincts are literally screaming out danger signals.
