Stand up and be counted, stand together and make sure that these horrible people never get to do that again. As for the CEO...how could you even ride that scene through? The right thing to do there was obvious - protect your staff, take pride in your company and fire that a$$hole on the spot. Before anyone starts, no I'm not female, young or a feminist. This man’s behavior is not about being “overly competitive”! It’s obvious that there is a deeper underlying issue at hand, and he is using his platform as a manager/supervisor to feed into his “sickness”. This was sick. There are plenty of men and women in the workforce who are as much, or more, competitor than this man, and do not behave in this manner. If the CEO did not want to dismiss this man, then, at the very least, he should’ve suspended him, and required that he go to counseling until further evaluation. In my opinion the CEO is disrespectful to these young women by not firing this man, and merrily smacking him on the hand making him “promise” that he’s going to apologize to them.
