In Canada, you get paid less than minimum wage for being a STEM grad student doing research in a lab. In the U.S. you get paid about double, according to friends who pursue STEM in the U.S., with whom I've compared stipends. I regret not applying to jobs instead of to a PhD. When you get your MSc, I recommend you look for work and get out of the grad school system.

Im asian. Im a professional chopstick user. I eat noodles everyday. One day i decided to make noodles for lunch at home and i used Ysac's advice of cutting the noodles with a pair of scissors to make it "spoon friendly". It worked so well that each bit of the cut noodles got mixed up with the poached eggs which made the noodles taste so much better. I would definitely recommend cutting up the noodles and adding the eggs if ur gonna have poached egg noodles. Just a quick reminder, dont use the surgical scissors like what Ysac used lmaoo.
