Nope sorry would of been more. Twitch has more viewership then RUclips streaming. RUclips you have to know what or who you want to watch. Twitch you can just find anything that’s live and it’s easier to navigate. It easily would of broke streaming records on twitch.

Maybe a WCC livestream doesn't get the same number of viewers, but people watch the game without a livestream - checking just transmitted boards for example.
Also, while 320k might be the higher peak, the actual question he is asking is unique viewers over the entire match and obviously WCC gains a lot from tgat while their chessboxing match doesn't.
Idk if it actually changes the answer, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Once people know how to play chess, it really devolves to book moves, metagame and other muscle-memory stuff.
It is not as “exciting” or “thrilling” like people of that time imagined. Revealed attacks causing surprise, ambushes actually working etc etc are not really that prominent - modern chess traps are far more sophisticated and can span 10+ moves.
Modern chess is a boring min-maxing, in essence.
There is no “psychological warfare”… Just “skill” (memorization and repetition).
