Definitely recommend a flowmaster 40. I run one on my 98 k1500 with shorty headers and true duals. Sounds great, very little cab drone and not very poppy

Sounds awesome but yeah if you want to have a road trip in it without it being too much. Some magnaflows or if you can test fit some flow master super 40’s would be nice
I also got a single in/out super 10 with stock headers and high flow cats and honestly that’s good for me. Loud enough when I’m cruising and sounds good flooring it with little drone at highway speeds. But no cats, long tubes, I think a dual in/out super 40 would sound nice

I see that your exhaust setup has an X pipe in the middle. Is it worth it to get it done or just run the pipes without connecting? What would be the difference besides exhaust note??
Little late here, but an x pipe improves exhaust scavenging by creating a vacuum with the alternating exhaust pulses from each bank of cylinders. This improves power if done right. The sound is more smooth than normal duals if that makes sense. Normal duals sound choppy and muscle car-y. I personally like the x pipe and had that done on my 6.2.

you can also get a y pipe that goes at the end of the exhaust the has a muffler at the end to help with drone.
