As a teacher you generally find that the unruly students have shameless parents. But on the off chance the parents aren't trash and don't think the sun shines out of their kid's ass, it's always nice to instill shame
It's that sort of attitude that prevented us from proper diagnosis of our 2nd child. Even with another teacher saying there was a neurological problem.we were asking for help and directions to medical help but we got nothing but contempt
If my kids are ever bullied, and the bullies’ parents don’t do anything about it, I’m going to instill shame in both them and their kids. I’ve already thought how.
Contact social services? That's what my dad did after an older boy kicked my little brother (maybe 7?) in the stomach. Hard enough to leave a nasty bruise...
This must be outdated because nowadays you have to start off with a positive note, state the problem, and end with a positive note, even if you feel something twisting on the inside of your stomach.
Agreed! It is so stupid to think adults will buy that stupid 'sandwich technic'. It is more annoying than adressing the problem directly. I hate their fake smiles and I feel like they believe I'm a complete idiot.
There should be more teachers out there like this! Perhaps the next generation won't go around using social media to embarrass others or go drunk driving or committing other crimes. Perhaps kids will grow up to be more responsible in their decision making because their parents told them to make smarter choices when they were kids.
I cant believe that Felicity Huffman who plays the mother, was involved in that college scandle with Lori Loughlin from Full House. But on the other hand, when you have alot of money I guess it makes you privileged and that the law doesn't apply to famous people. Their kids that were involved, were old enough to tell their parents that they were doung the wrong thing and should of refused to go along with it. When our kids are little, its a parents nature to step in and resolve a problem. But breaking the law not only yainted the actors careers, but screwed any chance of their kids getting into a highly accredited college. Community college may have been flushed down the toilet too. Celebraties are always in the limelight and expected to behave, as well as their kids.
I like that while this teacher is hard on the parents, she’s understanding when it comes to to the kids.
"What kind of cookie?" Oh god i lost it!

As a teacher myself, I find that to be always true. It's pretty much always the parents!
more fondly now than ever - I SCREAMED

I'm amazed that the kids' milk money came in whole dollars. Was inflation really that bad when this show was airing?
Who wouldn't do anything for a gingersnap. Give me an oreo, and....😉
If Penny was the one who was offered a cookie to lift up her dress, would Lynette ask that question?
Cindy Lou was the girl
Penny is his sister....
@@killianmmmoore the person knows that, she's asking only if Lynette would asked that if it would have been Penny.
I think Lynette would go postal on that kid.
