Thank you. The series starts off pretty terrible if I'm honest... I sort of learn serrated pins as I go. No I look back, it's interesting seeing the progress I make as things go on. The next vid on the A1100 itself is painful to watch though!
My favourites are the Matlock and Federal as not come across them myself. As I have said to LPL a great adventure is waiting to follow. Thanks for starting this journey from "our " side of the pond 😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍😎😎🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐🔐
Great video - very much enjoyed watching and listening to you. Nice how you defeated the Master. Looking forward to the others. Beautiful old American that you have :-)
Thank you. It is a lovely series 20 kindly lent to me by Pete Restall. Not picked one before this and I have to say that it is tricky what with it being full of serrated drive and key pins. Fun when you learn it though. It will feature in some more vids soon
So glad you're doing this series. Being a relatively new picker myself, the only one of these i've picked is the American 1105. It's one of my favorite locks because it gives such great feedback. Interested to see how you handle the serrated pins coming up. I'm just going through that struggle mysalf. Any observations you can make on the will be much appreciated.
Having picked and filmed them all, I have to say that my favourite is still the A1100 for feel. The Kasp is great as the keyway is so different - with hard bitting it can be a massive pain
I guessed which of the locks would be the Abus 72 and I was right yeah :). All very cool locks and for me the master lock does look all right (and at least fights a little bit) Lock Noob ;), well I'm watching in 240p ;)). Happy looking forward to your series :), foxxy.
Thanks for watching Foxxy :-) The master lock 570 is pretty poor. I couldn't get it on camera, but it's possible to pick within seconds. Even master lock do better than this (well, on occasion!)
I’ve worked for 20 years in the prison system. We used American locks almost every time for everything. Dependable and difficult to pick and is bump resistant.
Hey man, do you happen to have any of the americans (1100 series) from the late 80s with the white writing on them or have any idea where I can find any or any info/pics of them online? I can not find anything at all on them.. Thanks, bud!
Nice. Looking forward to the rest.

Pick Beard, thanks :-) sadly, it will be some time before my skill even comes close to LPL, but it is an interesting adventure nonetheless

Nice series and pick,
I like the kasp the most myself.

Sorry, I don’t. US eBay has lots of American Locks come up all the time though :-)
Lock Noob yup, the newer ones, but not the ones I speak of, can't even find any info/pics of them online anywhere. :/
@@IPhatDaddy they are extremely rare to come across
