- This is my review of the absolutely incredible Voltron Nevera, the brand new Mack Rides Stryker Coaster that opened at Europa Park in Spring of 2024. Could this be the best roller coaster in the world?

I just rode it on monday and I can completly agree! I rode a lot of coasters and I never rode one that was packed with intensity like voltron is. It‘s really a ride that you need to breathe afterwards and I love it

I haven’t ridden that many coasters but I can only agree with this review.
The only moment to take a breath is on that turntable before the 2nd half kicks off.
This and ride to happiness are the best rides I’ve had this year 👌🏻
I live about 15 minutes away from the park. Voltron is the reason i finally bought a resort pass. 😂

I love roller coasters that are a bit harder💪 On a roller coaster you have to work and not fall asleep😴💤 Voltron is just the right roller coaster for me⚡Outstanding🏆coaster.
I love it so much I’ve done it 10 times by now. From what I have experienced Train 3 and 4 are pretty rough and Train 1 is slightly too but much less. Haven’t been on Train 7 but on all the other trains are very smooth.
Rode it by the end of May, and I guess I just got luck as 5 out of 5 rides were glass-smooth with no ratteling or shaking of trains (all rides on the wing seats)
for me the first time i rode it i got a smoth train and was first row outsides in the right. It was nice but rained really much and i couldnt concentrate on the ride. the following 4 rides i was at the left side outsides and in the 3rd row and had the same really bad car every time... I think voltron can be really cool but for me such an inconsistency is a really bad point on a so large roller coaster, and i hope europapark can fix it soon...
I remember not spoiling myself beforehand, and my reaction to the indoor queue being an instant , really loud "WOW! HOLY SHIT"
i freaked out! it was so loud i first got a fright, then i had that aw yissss moment... the ride itself... my word... clear no.1
For me it’s my number 4, visited today. My 100th credit did not disappoint! My top three above it are #1 Ride to Happiness, #2 Maverick and #3 Steel Vengeance.

The moment when I realised on my 3rd ride that it was going to be my last one for the trip, I became really sad...
Sadly i had only the time to ride it twice - once with a rattle train, once with a smooth one. And you are right - when Mack gets all the trains to roll smooth, this is definetly one of the best coasters out there in the best themed park out there :) I'm pretty happy to live only 1 1/2hours away from Europa Park :D
Regarding the small ejector hill after the Stall, it actually is insanely strong! I measured (using my Apple Watch Ultra as an accelerometer) up to negative 1,7Gs. Some other people measured up to negative 1,9Gs at this point of the ride. I don‘t know any other coasters that deliver such strong negative Gs… What is crazy is that there is one moment (but only in one specific seat) on the coaster that can deliver even more. I am talking about the „Ejection Drifter“ (banked airtime hill) which can pretty consistently deliver negative 2 Gs when you are sitting on the outer left seat in the first row of the train. But (I can of course only talk about me) I found all these airtime moments way more comfortable than on some RMCs because of the restraints…
I knew those hills felt insanely powerful! My first ever ride was in that front row, far left seat, so the Ejection Drifter completely blew me away

I’ve been wanting to go to this park for a long time. Since my vacation has connecting flights in Frankfurt, I added extra days to include Europa-Park.
Besides Voltron, what are your other favorite coasters? Seems like a lot of woodie fans love Woden.
Wodan is incredible, and I’m a huge sucker for Eurosat Can-Can Coaster. I actually made a full ranking video if you’re curious

1:30 i just went yesterday again, for some weird reason, the tesla animatronic is not in the middle of the room anymore, it was standing near the wall of the room, the animatroni was still moving but a bit far away from the queue and the 2 towers next to him were not active. The empty spot where he stood was also just completly left empty no extra queue lines or anything, dont ask me why, i just hope it will return to the original again.
Hmm, very interesting, it’s kinda fun that they can just move him around the room whenever they want but I did like that centralized spot, wonder why they moved him
They had a gala event last week with e.g. the premier minister of Kroatia. for that they remodeled the queue line hall into a reception hall with a bar and stuff. Here for the animatronic was moved out of the way.

As quite a new enthusiast my previous number 1 was helix at Liseberg. But voltron just destroyed that coaster so hard it’s not even a comparison! I’ve done it three times and only got smooth trains. There is no other coaster that is gonna beat it anytime soon. Not ride to happiness and not steel vengeance!
After 3 months the shake problem with some of the trains is still not solved?
It wasn’t fixed as of June 15th when I was at Europa Park :/
Yeah there are two trains with the option "full vibrations"😅, number 2 and 4 I mean🤔. In my opinion the vibrations can ruin the ride, I rode it once on a good train and juste after on a vibrating train.
I was fasting and I felt very bad right from the beginning of the ride🤢.
There in two weeks.. missus ain’t gettin told bowt the bouncy bouncy

Sadly it was to much for me. I loved the theming and it looked great. I sadly had a train with a rattle and i got mega sick because of it. My favorite is stil wodan in ep.
