I must have been quite close to you, Patty. I spent three months living at the mariposario. But perhaps it was before your time, probably 2019 I think. It was my favourite time.
Are the gate posts still there that I remember from the '40's? They had a tiger on one side and a deer on the other....close to the hot springs. Love the tour of the valley and seeing the beautiful homes. Many changes from my day.
Boy ol boy...I hate to poop on your parade ...But...600,000 k home does not really express why people are rushing to Panama. Maybe I'm wrong!!! People are tired of the high cost of living and afraid their retirement will be heading to substandard of living. If moving to Panama is to showboat who has money and who don't, well then do it in the country you came from. Making money with RUclips should be about what to expect moving to a different country and how to have a smooth transition. You just lost one viewer. Sorry!!
@@milesmichael9034 Sorry you didn’t like the video. People from a wide range of financial means consider owning property or getting residency here in Panama.
@Pattybluehayes How stupid of me...your the kind that has money and was not able to be more noticeable back home. Keep your priorities straight and call a spade a spade .
@@milesmichael9034 Michael, El Valle is not a budget locale. If you look at all of Patty's videos, it took her 2 years to find her perfect place. Then she worked on it for quite awhile, so it can be done. I was just looking at 5 bedroom home with a swimming in Doral, Fl and it was listed for 1.1 million. If it had been listed in my area of California it would go for 2.4 million & in Coronado, Panama for about $450k. So, affordability is a sliding scale. There are many areas in Panama that one can find homes under 125k, so it depends. Not everyone who moves to Panama buys real estate, many live on social security or whatever pension and get by. I've seen cute places for under $500/month for a single person or a couple. So, even if one has a modest pension one can find a place.
Love the setting on this place. It seems more in the range of $450k compared to others that I've seen in EV, but again that's what offers and counter offers are for. Really appreciate your videos tours, Patty!
@@Pattybluehayes Thank you. I will. They gave me these newer pills called Paxlovid. I'm doing a bit better, so pills working. I found out it's spread to most states.

Oooo, that outdoor fireplace is very much like an Argentine asado for cooking meat on a grill over wood.
