House is the perfect size unfortunately too hot for me near Coronado. El Valle de Anton or Volcan seems to be my ideal temps. Will definitely rent at first!

The Condo is Gorgeous but I love a Private Yard where I can get lost in my thoughts and not feel 'on display' all the time . Great Video Patty . Nice interview .

Great video, Patty.
I loved that view of the outside from the Condo. My favorite part for it was the placement of the kitchen for that view. The floor level height for that condo above the beach, for the view, was just perfect. It would be the right position for the canvas for a creative painter.
One change, for my taste, would be to put a floor retractable UST laser TV, like an AWOL 120" screen, in place of a permanent TV setup. For me, I just have never liked seeing a tv in a room that has such a nice view of the outside. With a retractable screen, you only see it when you want the tv.
Yes, I also liked that idea of using it as an Airbnb.
I didn't care for the house, but it will be a nice home for someone, obviously. For me, the yard wasn't big enough.
I hope to eventually build a small home for my retirement in Panama, with hopefully about 10 acres of land on some pretty mountain.
@@PeterDavila-mx9ni I agree, that 9th floor is perfect for the view. I haven’t had a tv for over 10 years! In rentals, yes - and I binged on Netflix 😆
In my house, I thought I wanted room darkening shades for sleep, but I love the night sky, moonlight - fireworks 😆 and morning artistry ☀️

We are definitely more the quiet surrounded by trees people however, the thought of not dealing with landscape or issues with the house is very attractive especially if it’s not our full time home.
@@dianen6638 There are small developments where you have a house and there’s general yard maintenance in the community. I could see that as a nice option for part time living. Also gives you the security.
Both are lovely places. I will be staying at the yacht club building in Panama City this winter. The unit I'm renting is for sale. It's a one-bedroom oceanfront floor to ceiling windows for 260 Grand. It feels much more spacious than the loft.
That sounds nice - I love the views from condos. Especially for holiday fireworks.

Ok I’m gonna need to find the channel for middle class retirees. No way I’m interested in “American” home prices in a country where the median salary is less than 1/2 the US.
American prices? Not even close lol. The 948 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in my building in Pasadena, CA is currently for sale for $648,000. Our building has no pool and no gym and washers and dryers are located on the first floor. Pasadena is located a good 45 minute to an hour drive from the ocean.
I mean the rest of America. California is ridiculous
I would want that condo for family/friends who visit and airbnb and a home in El Valle for my nucleus 👨👩👧🐕🐈

My wife’s side of the family actually has a Condo already in Coronado that we got to stay at with a lovely black sand beach attached etc.
I saw an article on you moving there and maybe 🤔 there is some way that I can help you.
My wife’s family has roots in developing and is responsible for many of the buildings in Downtown Panama 🇵🇦 city. Also they developed a gated community there called Caminas De La Cruces(sp) Where I believe one of my wife’s Uncles still lives there who does the developing.
Had to be some way for me to merge your worlds.
There is a bakery down there called Gamboa Baking Co also that basically is run by my wife’s sisters ex husband Brian Winzinreid that you should pay a visit to. Our family here in America 🇺🇸 does bakery basically and have a top rated bakery in Madison WI named Stella’s Bakery. Our hit and spicy cheese bread is the go to item and I think 🤔 Brian does it down there.
Anyhow I don’t mean to be so long winded but saw some article on you moving there and thought that maybe I could help forge a connection.

Hello I seen these condos for rent before 1200-1400 for a 2 bed -2 bath oceanfront -so rule of thumb would be 120-140,000-for sale to be a 10 % return on investment- if more than 140,000 its a bad deal
@@JamesVarnas I guess it depends on how an investor views value; value in use. I wouldn’t want to be a long distance owner - it would make me too nervous.

@@ChromeLuxx there are other channels that do a great job with facts, tax, fees, visa stuff - Panama Relocation Tours, I Go Panama, Panamazing, I think they have good content for that. I enjoy sharing slice of life, property tours, my insights ☺️
I know Tom. He's my mate from the gym. I also know someone who rented one of those loft apartments in Bahia and had major problems with water leaking into electrical outlets and no one (owner, upstairs owner and/or building manager) wanting to take responsibility. She ended up moving out. Buyer beware.

House 2,615 square feet. Weird HOA dynamics with pool, tennis court, gym? 13 years old. Surrounding community that you have to go through coming and going does not appear to be the same standard. Unusable sloped back yard. More money to convert. $100 per square foot in America depending on location. In Panama, I am thinking much less. $160,000ish. More than that would be a hard no. Less than that would be more likely. Have no idea about the loft. Wouldn't be interested. Others might be but not my thing.
