- Time for a proper introduction to Ardnamurchan Distilleries latest bottling, the AD/ Sauternes Cask Release.
Clocking in at an impressive eight years old, our 100% unpeated spirit started life in ex-Bourbon casks before luxuriating in ex-Sauternes wine barriques for 30 months.
Showcasing all the classic Western Highland characteristics you've come to expect from our distillery, but with added stone fruits, apricot jam, marzipan and a spicy wee green peppercorn tang in the background, we think you'll be as delighted as us with the results.
Botted at 50% ABV, one of only 5990 bottles available worldwide.
Shipping worldwide now, with an RRP of £65, all stockists are listed on our website.
Great to hear that you are doing releases with only the unpeated spirit. Everything I have tried so far was a mix of peated and unpeated. Cheers
Yes, this is one of the very few releases that we have bottled with only unpeated spirit. The other unpeated expression we do annually is our Paul Launois Release. If you haven't tried it then that might be something you would enjoy 👍
You guys make some fantastic whisky.
Great, glad you enjoy them.
Wonderful release. Very tasty approachable and moreish. Well done! Looking forward to tasting the 1927 project newmake next.
Great, glad you enjoy it 🤟The 1927 project should make for very interesting drinking.
Curious to try it, hopefully in a week in a show in Paris where Antonia & Jenny will be representing you again, Slainte !
I am sure they will have this new release with them. So something to look forward to 🤩
@@ardnamurchandistillery Great, thanks !
Beautiful Whisky! I just got my bottle today from your German distributor. Lovely Lovely dram! You recognize the Ardnamurchan spirit which means doesn't feel like the casks would dominate the taste! Well balanced and just fantastic! Thank you so much for you great work everyone 🙏
Cannot wait to try your Ardnamurchan 10 years release!
Will there be different iteration of that? Like AD/10 Years and Paul Launois 10 years for example?
Slainte 🥃🥃
Aw great glad you where able to get your hands on a bottle and enjoyed the whisky. Can't say too much about what is coming out but all I can say is there is some good stuff on the way.
I got a bottle today, i absolutely love it!😊
Great, glad you like it 😊
Send to Brazil 😅
This is on my list of whisky's to buy. Will your Polish distributor get it soon ? See you in Warsaw at Whisky live in 5 weeks!
Yes, I believe it's on it's way as we speak 👍 Antonia and DJ are both looking forward to seeing you there 🤟
@@ardnamurchandistillery Excellent looking forwards to purchasing it, and also to my annual blether and dram with Antonia and DJ
@euanmacara1812 Brilliant hope you enjoy 🤘
Would love to try this. Doubt it’ll show up here in Norway.
Well it's on it's way to Norway, so hopefully you can find a bottle. If you contact our importer (Malt Norge AS) whey should be able to tell you where to look.
@@ardnamurchandistillery There's only one place to look for alcohol in Norway, so I will find it. Thank you 😊
@@fotografi4fun Yeah that makes sense. Hope you can find it 🤞
I live in Brooklyn, New York (population 2.7 million) and I cannot find Ardnamurchan anywhere locally. Is there anyway you can address this? Thanks 👍
Hi, I have spoken to our sales executive for the US (Carl Crafts) and he said you should be able to get our whisky at Astor Wine & Spirits in Manhattan. They are able to post. That might be your best option 👍
@@ardnamurchandistillery Thank you. I'm familiar with the shop. I appreciate your help.
@@ardnamurchandistillery ...that being said, they have your standard bottling and there is a premium to be paid for the privilege of doing business with a shop in Manhattan as is evident by their prices which tend to be 20-30+% more than quality shops outside of Manhattan.
So it would be great if your team could reach out and perhaps expand your presence in NYC outside of Manhattan; Best But Liquors in Brooklyn might be a good place to start. All the best and thanks ✌️
