- The distillery is located in Glenbeg in the Scottish Highlands. Keith Falconer and Donald Houston began planning the new distillery west of Glenborrodale Castle in 2007. Construction work started in autumn 2012, it was commissioned in 2014 and in 2020 the Ardnamurchan Distillery launched its first single malt whisky.
The Ardnamurchan distillery produces both a smoky whiskey and a non-smoky one. The Adelphi distillery, the parent company of Ardnamurchan, sources rare single casks with selected malt whiskey as the Adelphi Selection.
We were allowed to visit the Ardnamurchan distillery and got exciting insights that we don't want to withhold from you.

Interesting to hear the history behind the adelphi dancer. So far the ardnamurchan bottlings I've tried have been absolutely amazing for their age and the distillery team has been very kind and welcoming. Love the transparency. Keep it up!
