Unfortunately this theme will likely be going away after this year due to the Euros going to Fox in 2024 (Fox already has the FIFA World Cup until 2026) & the USMNT/USWNT signing a deal with Turner (TBS & TNT) to air their matches including home CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers beginning next year. ESPN will still be involved in soccer but at the club level with La Liga, Bundesliga & MLS.
@@eddysandoval2694 it is likely going to be between ESPN, CBS & Turner. NBC can't afford the price FIFA is asking for the rights & Fox is likely not going to be interested in the rights after they cash out in 2026, especially since they are focusing so much on the Big Ten in college football.

I've been listening to this on repeat during the 2022 World Cup. Not a fan of FOX's World Cup theme at all and their coverage for that matter.
It was so annoying seeing all of them, mainly Alexi Lalas but they were all complicit, constantly suck off Qatar at every opportunity.
