In regards to hacking, you can circumvent the whole thing using select Tonics, using both versions of Vending Expert gives you the same discount, but comes with the downside of having some items unavailable. On the other hand, using Prolific and Cleaver inventor tonics not only gives you the same discount of items but DOUBLES the production, virtually giving you a lot of the best ammo types and auto hacking tools to further avoid doing the mini game. Also it’s useful to leave some unhacked machines in order to fully exploit the Alarm+Security Bullseye combo against Large Fathers
It's amazing how a 400 subs channel has better gaming content than most of channels with hundreds of thousands subs. I really hope you can keep up doing this awesome videos
Bioshock is always a game I've admired from a distance. I haven't completed either Bioshock or Infinite and haven't touched 2, but from what I've played of them, they really are fantasticly designed games. Plus, the settings of Rapture and Columbia are still amazing to look at. Irrational Games really nailed that classic psuedo-Americana visual style.
I definitely agree that even without playing the series, it is one of those games you can still admire what it accomplished. However... BEAT THEM! Especially Infinite and it's DLC episodes. They are seriously special :)
@@CloudConnection I get it... my backlog from this years games alone is getting a little ridiculous yet here I am playing games I've already beaten a few times xD
I love this game! Also, don't sleep on the security bullseye. It's my favorite anti big daddy plasmid. If you trigger an alarm, you can tag a big daddy without agroing it and have the security bots take care of it. It's the best option for fighting it on the hardest difficulty.
I definitely slept on security bullseye xD I was having too much fun with my bee's and my biggest anti Big Daddy plasmid was actually the hypnosis one because he would lose health and kill enemies for me so made that easier :)
I was thinking about Bioshock last night, specifically the soundtracks from the series. The music from them are incredible, so I went on YT to listen to it while contemplating downloading the collection again. I'm sure I'll have my mind made up by the end of this video 😅 Congrats on the milestone
I'm not someone who usually talks about games soundtracks (mainly because copyright claims are a big problem especially for main songs) but Bioshock's soundtrack is incredible! Spoiler Alert... download the collection again xD
Just came here from Checkpoints video and I'm so glad I did, this is a fantastic video and you're really entertaining to listen to. That's an instant subscribe from me, I look forward to checking out the rest of your channel :D
I just realized the game "Singularity" gave me very similar style vibes as Parts of BioShock. I will always appreciate the creation that is BioShock 1. It's such a amazing piece of storytelling and thought provoking/emotion provoking design. Andrew Ryan; the audio files, the little fallout style videos, the architecture. It really has similarities of the "atomic era of The USSR, Soviet Union style themed world" I wish more games experimented with this style.
I always saw Ryan's death as him choosing his own fate. That's his whole philosophy is a man chooses, a slave obeys. If you go through Ryan's office you will see he shut off his vita-chamber. He could've received himself but he CHOSE to die by his sons hand, and in doing so teaching his son that he himself is a slave and hopefully will end rapture which he sort of does.
Thank you so much mate, that means a lot! However, at the time of uploading this video I had less than 500 subs so I'm amazed at the growth the channel has seen in 2020 and hope the momentum continues to build 🙏 But I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hope you check out the rest my friend 👏
@@MayorHairBear Just finished watching your Bioshock Infinite Retrospective and absolutely loved it! It's got me checking out the rest of the channel. Hoping to see you get big someday!
@@robloxaddict34 That really does mean a lot, thank you so much. I had an absolute blast revisiting the Bioshock series and was really proud with the end result in each games video. I hope you enjoy your stay here on the channel and hopefully someday I can turn this into more than just a hobby! 🙏
How do you only have 2,000 subscribers, this video is such high quality and well thought out. Well, I hope my subscription brings you closer to your goal!
I know 2,000 doesn't seem like a lot but actually when I posted this video I had around 400 subscribers so, we've been steadily growing this year! But I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy your stay here on the channel 🙏
Wait, what! There's a map in Bioshock!?! I've finished the game 3 times, I did not know there was a map feature. I've been running around a lot during the first playthrough 😅
The beautiful thing is, that I built a vampiric meelee char that carried me through the game. That this is possible in a shooter is just incredible. But it didn't have an impact on atlas, so that was disappointing..

They're definitely high on the backlog! Which is already hundreds of games long, lol

"Would you kindly, subscribe?"

I just discovered this channel, and it amazes me the quality this channel has at only 2k subs. Keep up the amazing work bro!
