    Dougie had some nasty dunks last season... he's got nice hops

  • @Kxlwvss

    He's such an underrated player Spurs should consider him

    Dougie made great strides this year from being a marginal NBA player mostly at the end of the bench during his rookie year to being a solid role player off the bench. If he wants to be a solid NBA starter with a long career he's going to have to make similar strides this summer and fall with his training. He lost a bit of his Creighton baby fat but now he needs to really take his fitness to the next level to maximize his strength and athleticism and stay healthy and consistent over the course of the season. He needs to develop go to post moves and work on his defensive position and angles. He'll probably never be a great NBA defender but he can improve and be less of a liability on that side of the floor.

    • @jonsin7697
      @jonsin7697 8 лет назад +5

      He's doing what Jimmy did. Start off on the bench as a role player and by year 3 start full time and then take off. He could have started this year. But only if he learned how to take a charge. I've seen way too many people trying to run him over. Guys don't do that too often to players that are known to take charges. That could have got him in the starting 5

    • @kidkiko31697
      @kidkiko31697 8 лет назад

      +James Johnson if he only picked that up from Mike from watching. I always see him in the position to take a charge but he ends up swiping at the ball and getting called for a foul instead.

    Sneaky hops? Dude has a 36.5" vert. That's not sneaky. That's in your face.

    • @jessealcantar2270
      @jessealcantar2270 8 лет назад +6

      exactly he actually has the same vertical as Westbrook mcdermott is MUCH more athletic then people gave him credit more far more athletic ad he can improve his athleticism even more if he works hard enough. and improve D at least a little bit for him to be a starter

    • @Fastcash4
      @Fastcash4 8 лет назад

      +Jesse Alcantar don't run out A vertical is one Thing compared to in game Off the dribble Expolsivness He NO where near has the same Hops as Westbrook

    • @jessealcantar2270
      @jessealcantar2270 8 лет назад

      agreed but he still got some hops pretty good athlete

    • @Fastcash4
      @Fastcash4 8 лет назад

      +Jesse Alcantar yea He a Wayy better athlete then given credit For I really hope He Ball out this year I really Like Dougie Fresh Game

    • @speedgo41
      @speedgo41 8 лет назад +4

      For a 6'9 guy... Yea that's big time considering nba average height is 6'7 and nba average vert is like 26" I think. But people criticized him for not being athletic enough when he was being drafted... Classic NBA racial profiling if you ask me. Just like people always assume that if you're black you jump out of the gym but don't have understanding of the game. People are full of shit in the sports community.

    Bulls should've traded Butler for Lavine and Dunn when they had the chance. They could've had a young core of
    PG Dunn
    SG LaVine/Valentin
    SF McDermott
    PF Portis/Mirotoc
    C Lopez/Gibson

      +Melvin Vernell I know what your saying, but as a Bulls fan I've seen McDermott play a lot more and he could create his own shot. He has the fadeaway and step back mastered and beats his man a lot of times. You don't just become a top 5 college scorer of all time by just catch and shoot or screens. Pierce was a beast tho
