    Hi Jayda, thank u for ur reply. I've been practicing
    & have made the one with cotton yard a bit larger. Tried one with acrylic yarn & it makes it quite a bit larger. Followed ur instructions and it helped quite a bit. Thanking again. And yes I do feel somewhat better. Thank God.
    Happy crocheting. Lily Baker

    Hi Jayda. I have taught my flatmate and learned from your tutorial how to crochet so many placmats and coasters. It was never drawn to our attention how much fun they are! We have packaged them and we mqay open a shop of our own to sell these goods. If we do, we will send you photographs.

      Wonderful! You can share photos with us on Etsy and Pinterest (it's private and we're at Jayda InStitches in both locations!) and you are more than welcome to sell items you make using our patterns and tutorials, we just ask that you include our Name and links to our RUclips Channel, website and Etsy shop for the design credit. I just wanted to thank you for this beautiful pattern! I am working on my 3rd set for my best friend since last year about this time. She asked me to make 6 Christmas green ones for her dinner table. I added 3 increase rows before the border row to make it full size. Earlier this year I made her 6 off white ones for daily use and now I'm working on 4 red ones for her Christmas breakfast table. She puts a slightly larger red placemat under the green ones for Christmas then a print napkin in a holder in the center of the dinner plate. It's stunning. Thank you for allowing me to use your pattern to make a very deserving friend happy!💖

    Jayda you’re the best. You’re the best crotchet teacher on line. I am such a big fan. God bless. Jayda, I’ve made 2 shawls, 2 hats and 1 beanie already with your tutorials. You’ve made countless people so happy. God bless you. Your sweet soothing voice also helps following you all the way. This table mat gave me a hard time though with the count of the stitches, so I’m going to do it again with a bigger needle so I van follow the stitch count a little better. Thank you again.

      @JaydaInStitches  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Farida! We're so happy to know you're enjoying our show :) This is definitely one of those patterns that you want to count as you go! Remember too because we're working in the round, there is an extra or "false" stitch (at the base of the ch-3 that begins a row), don't be fooled by it ;)

    • @faridamajor316
      @faridamajor316 5 лет назад

      Jayda InStitches thank you so much for your reply. I’ve made shawls with your instructions, beanies with your instructions. You are the best !!! This pattern is a little troublesome for me. Have had to rip entire rows twice cos the stitches just don’t add up for me.

Sometimes when I'm crocheting I turn on one of your videos, any one, I listen to you talk to me its like having you here, as a friend, crocheting with me. You and your husband do a great job. I like your website too.Thank you. I'm trying to make your placemats pattern and I need help try to increase after 6 rows. I'm looking forward to your response. Have a great day! :)

      Hi Bing, thank you so much for watching :) You can try making this pattern with a larger hook to get a bigger placemat, that way you don't have to worry about extra math. Try a 5.5 or a 6.0 mm hook and the cotton yarn and it will be larger :)

    My bff asked for 6 holly green placemats for next Christmas. We found this pattern and it just spoke to us! Im on my 6th one and its not even July!!! However.....the first one I made was way too small for a dinner placemat. I frogged it twice and went down to an F hook before I had it looking the way i wanted it to look. Oh, and added 3 rounds. I absolutely love them! Thank you for your hard work in creating this beautiful placemat!

    Thank you for making this pattern available!! I've been looking for a pattern for a mat for 4 tiny floating shelves I've had forever and the tiny oval doilies I had fell apart. I tried a couple other patterns that didn't work out.
    Doing the first 3 rows of this pattern than doing the last 2 lacey rows fit the shelves perfectly! ❤
    I only changed the last row to 2 sc, 3 ch, 1 sc in the back of the base of the sc before the chain, than the 2nd one the same hole space. It seemed to make the point more prominent. Beautiful pattern. Thanks again!!

    Thank you for this tutorial. I found by using the 4.25 mm hook mine work wasn't too tight, but the finished height wasn't going to fit my plates, so I continued two more rows of DC without increasing and then another increase row of 2dc and then 1dc in the next few 4 stitches and it was about right. I might even add one more increase row with 2 DC and a DC in 5 stitches when I make them again. Going to do the coaster now. Thanks again!

    Yarn ordered and can't wait for it to arrive. I am determined to make most of my Christmas presents this year, so this will be my first project. Also going to do some coasters to match. Thanks for another great tutorial Jayda :-)
