@Steve-gx9ot Or maybe some people just had different influences and lived a different life. I was never pampered or self absorbed but I did think that only young people were unnecessarily nasty online behind their screen. Not sure what the internet and people not caring about others has to do with each other but you seem a little jaded. I hope you have good people in your life. The world needs balance. In 1975 Led Zeppelin announced that they would play 3 concerts at Earl’s Court London. This was the biggest venue available at the time and nobody had managed to sell out the entire hall. The music press said they would be lucky to fill one night, never mind 3 nights. They were wrong. The day after the tickets went on sale Led Zeppelin announced that they would play another 2 nights! I was lucky enough to get tickets but had no idea what to expect. Big bands at the time would play for about 90 minutes with a support band coming on before the main act. Zeppelin played for more than 3 hours without a support, (after all who could support them?) the longest concert was 3 hours 45 minutes. I can still remember the concert from the opening bars of rock and roll which absolutely blew everyone away with the energy.
@chrisbrugma1811 I forgot to mention that my ticket was free! Three of us went to the concert and we had a bet on what would be the opening number. The prize was that the other two paid for the winner's ticket. I chose rock and roll as it seemed to me to be the perfect opening line and it was.
One of the most insane live performances ever captured was Led Zeppelin performing "Since I've Been Loving You" at Madison Square Garden in New York in 1973. Vocalist Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page have an entire conversation throughout the song. Highly recommended; so much so that it's the official video of the song on the Led Zeppelin website. Great reaction.
This is the deepest rabbit hole you could have possibly imagine. Or go down. They never ever had a bad song. They set the standard as far as music, and very versatile to say the least! 😉👀🙏✔️💯😇
No need for any shame for not hearing of LZ since 1969. You are learning about their music now and THAT'S what's important! Long live the Zep!!! Welcome to their world!!
Use to hear this song on the radio in the early 70’s. This was before I knew who Led Zeppelin was and really liked the song then. Now I’m a full fledged fan, box set owner as well❤️❤️
If you want to continue the Led Zeppelin journey, especially their live performances check out either "Since I've Been Loving You" from MSG 1973, or "In My Time of Dying" Earl's Court 1975. You won't regret it. BTW the 1973 clip is from the feature film "The Song Remains the Same" released in 1976. Led Zeppelin were unparalleled live, and although the band considered the performances at Madison Square Garden only average, they are mesmerizing.
ABSOLUTE GODS OF ROCK!!! 🔥🥁🎸🔥. There have been many songs released that can be labelled as “classics”, but this one is a “classic with a capital C” ☝️😉👍
Try out "Immigrant Song", "Houses of the Holy" (song, not the album), and for something you won't believe is Led Zeppelin check out "Hot Dog". That one almost caused me to wreck a car late one night after ten hours on the road. For other bands check out Molly Hatchet, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, or Deep Purple. I think you might enjoy those as well.
Led Zeppelin are the one group in the world I WISHED I could’ve seen live in concert but unfortunately, I never got the chance. This is one song that no artist or group could ever come close to generating the electricity & energy that Led Zeppelin gave it 🔥✊🔥
A suggestion, listen on headphones. This song is a good example. With out headphones you miss the sound engineering in the first transition. With headphone you are surrounded and in the middle of the music.
Thank you so very much Darling for playing one of the best songs ever made by one of the best of the rock n' Roll bands ever. Keep up the good work. Have a Blessed Evening. Adios. Please play "Stairway to Heaven" also with Led Zeppelin. L-I-V-E' versions Rule. Thank you. Goodnight.
One of the best concerts that I have been to. 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Great choice Definitely try Stairways To Heaven from their Live at Madison Square Garden concert 1973. Considered one of the greatest songs EVER. Then maybe consider Stairway To Heaven by Heart at the Kennedy Center. An amazing tribute to the dreaming members
Turned 18 in 1969. I saw at least 15 other bands. Saw Zep 4 times. They never had a warm-up band and always played for more than 3 hours. They always went off on some songs turning a 6-minute song into a 25-minute song. In 1973 at the Garden, Page went off on a solo. John Paul Jones got close to Bonham and you know he said something like," Here he goes again." Jones had a big smile and Bonham laughed and shrugged. Best band ever.
I’m glad you checked out LED Zeppelin and I enjoyed your reaction. I hope you do more LZ reactions because they have many different types of songs, and only hearing a hard rock song and video doesn’t come near seeing who they are. So if you do more I would recommend Stairway To Heaven live at MSG 1973. It is considered one of the greatest songs in the history of rock music, and this performance has good audio and video quality.
Thank you for your first reaction to Led Zeppelin - they have many more great tracks for you to listen and react to! I would like to suggest you do a reaction to a live version of the band Heart performing "Dog and Butterfly". Sorry, I don't have any links or anything, but just search for a live version from the late 70's or early 80's and it will be great!
From Guinness Book of World Records 2010 edition: Led Zeppelin broke the world record for the Highest Demand for Tickets for One Music Concert when 20 million requests came through for the one-time reunion show in December 2007.
I recommend the same in the live version (1973 Madison Square Garden). It will be a surprise to know this too. In the same place, you will definitely like Stairway to Heaven or Since I've Been Loving You.
How about the biggest band of all time, The Beatles? “A Day In The Life”, “I Am The Walrus”, “Strawberry Fields Forever”, “Here There And Everywhere”, “Eleanor Rigby”, etc. Their catalog of great songs is HUGE. They aren’t generally called the G.O.A.T.s for nothing. P.S. - I love Led Zeppelin too. More of them please.
Just found your friend website ,love it one band you should react to Is Chicago they have been around since the late1960s please check out there early work ,the first song should be 25 or 6 to4 pi won't be sorry
You should do a lot more led Zeppelin they have 10 albums. And after the death of their drummer in 1980, they split up for a while. Then Robert plant the lead singer and Jimmy Page lead. Guitarist got back together in '95. Did an album called no quarter and did a tour in 1995 and then they tore it all the way through the '90s into the early 2000s. And in 2007 they got together one more time with John bottoms son on drums and it was absolutely epic. They are The Great est live rock band ever to Grace the stage. It wasn't just one of them. That was good. They were all four Masters of their art and that's what made them so deadly.
Did you have Top of the pops in Aus? It was the theme tune l. You gotta do Stairway to heaven and Since I've been loving you live at Madison Square garden. I grew up listening to my older sister's playing Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Great reaction!
Hi, great reaction, and a great band. You asked for other recommendations. Maybe try getting into Wishbone Ash, a band that started in 1969 and still tour now. A good live start would be Way Down South, live in Paris, then get into some older stuff?

You should check out this song from their 2008 reunion concert, Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love (Celebration Day). The guy playing drums is the son of the original drummer, who passed in 1980. Actually you should check out the whole concert, it's available on dvd.
On a beautiful May night in 1969 I rode my motorcycle out from D.C to Meriweather Post pavilion to experience Led Zeppelin for the first time. They opened for the Who and blew the Who away so badly that they never shared a stage again. After the concert, a girl came up to me on my motorcycle. I was wearing a denim vest, no shirt, and blue jeans. Popular dress for the times. She put her hand on my bare chest, her face in mine and said "I wanna go for a ride". "Sure Sweetheart". She swung a leg over the pillion and some guy said "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!!???" "Going for a ride" Hell no you ain't!!" He grabbed her and off they went. I guess he was her date for the night. Easy come, easy go. Magical times. I was 19.
Divinyls - I Touch Myself (Official Music Video). Australian rock band. Female lead singer. You may want to check this out even if you don’t do a reaction.
Also u wanna get blown away watch led zeppelin dazed and confused live in newyork same concert Madison Square garden newyork 1973 it's 28 minutes long check it out
You just listened to the greatest band that ever gave the world music, every song they do is amazing. Each of the 4 are the greatest at their crafts, & together The GODS Of MUSIC! Robert Plant lead singer & harmonica * Jimmy Page lead guitarist band founder producer & editing * John Paul Jones (JPJ) bass guitar keyboards mandolin etc. * John (Bonzo) Bonham the greatest drummer ever. From their first rehearsal on August 19,1968 to September 25,1980 when sadly the greatest drummer passed away. The band knew they couldn’t continue without their friend John Bonham. Just a few great choices, studio version You Shook Me, amazing blues with 3 solos. Live at Madison Square Garden (1973) Since I’ve Been Loving You, & Stairway To Heaven. Live at Earls Court May 25,1975 is the best version of, In My Time Of Dying, it has the best audio & visuals. Actually anything you would pick is amazing, they master every genre of music, Rock Blues Folk Funk Reggae Prog etc. Thank you for your reaction, & I hope to see many more Led Zeppelin reactions.
There's so much to choose from with Led Zeppelin, but try Kashmir. There is a live performance video, but I prefer the original recording. maybe you could react to both?
If the song sounds familiar, it may be because the BBC used an adapted version of it as the theme tune to “Top Of The Pops,” the UK’s weekly TV pop show, for decades. As per the lyrics and the section that is basically a musical simulation of an orgasm, the song itself is a raw, nakedly explicit depiction of sex from the male perspective.
Try Whipping Post by the Allman Brothers ( studio - short version) (Live at Fillmore East - long version) This band is shockingly good!!!! Try also Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven - studio version.
It's really difficult to believe someone hasn't heard this before. But then again, everyone has their first time. Be careful though. It's an awfully deep rabbit hole. : )
I think that The Beatles might have something to say about that. I absolutely love LZ but without The Beatles, Zep doesn't happen. I will say that The Beatles had two of the best songwriters in rock history but LZ had four of the best musicians ever. Every one of them were masters of their craft. Others may have been as good but nobody has been better.
Glad to see Sleeping Beauty finally awakened by the kiss of "Whole Lotta Love". Now you can listen to the rest of Led Zeppelin's extraordinary discography.
I agree. I know it is without John Bonham, but it is with his son (Jason). It is THE best live version of Kashmir that there it. I get goosebumps every time I watch it.
I would love to watch your reaction to "Since Ive Been Loving You" (Live at Madison Square Garden 1973) ruclips.net/video/uHRdRVTDdP0/видео.htmlsi=zidTdVmVnPiQtvjs and "In My time of Dying" (Live at Earls Court 1975) ruclips.net/video/xTrQ7vUZsIo/видео.htmlsi=w93cLUtVMpP0jthh. Full songs, not clips of different performances, so you'll get to See and Hear their superb craftsmanship.
As the generations go by, less and less pay attention to the previous generations' music. Which is unfortunate. It's almost like a "generational self-centeredness". " Oh, that's dad rock." Nothing before the current generation is as cool or sophisticated as what's going on now! Which is complete nonsense. But, that's why classical, jazz, blues and pretty much rock aren't as popular as they used to be. Me, I'm not that much older than you. However, my father was 50 years old when I was born. So, I was exposed to a lot of jazz, blues, and big band stuff along with the rock, metal, new wave and pop of our youth. And, I am thankful for that. And, I think people that truly love music, not just the current iteration, find other/different genres on their own. Because, true music lovers will never be satisfied with the superficial or the current fad. Music is life, my friends!
I can believe you have never listened to Led Zep before but I can't believe you are 40 years old. Whatever you are doing, you should bottle it and make a fortune! 😂
Good to see someone interested in the best era of music ever!! By the way, were you paying attention to the lyrics? If you were, then you showed great restraint by not commenting on them. I strongly recommend: Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb from the Pulse Concert. Profile Harum Whiter Shade of Pale and A Salty Dog from their concert with the Danish National Orchestra.

I’m so glad that you can appreciate this incredible band. You might enjoy this poem I wrote about their wonderful lead singer, though you might need to research their story to fully understand my words.
Robert Plant, Golden God
Jimmy and Jonesey prodigies
You were their bard
Bonzo brought the thunder
But you all worked too hard
The world adored you
The critics less kind
For a kid like me
Blew my young mind
Your own jet liner
Crazy parties, drugs and girls
To those outside, a fantasy
To you a crazy whirl
Your vocal gymnastics
Your mighty range
Inspired tales of Vikings
And many a loving exchange
But tragedy was always close
Kerac,your beautiful boy gone
Accident and throat surgery
Then Bonzo, you were done
You mourned impossible loss
We all mourned Zeppelin
But you were far from finished
Your music kept givin’
Pictures At Eleven, Principal Of Moments
Kept you in our hearts
A few projects with Jimmy
You never lost your spark
Your warm kind smile
Your passion for the roots
Continue as you tour on
With charming Alison Kraus
The world will never forget you
You’ve been a guiding light
While some are stuck at Stairway
Your evolution always bright
We don’t ever want to lose you
But your greatest symphony
When you rejoin Kerac and Bonzo
For eternity

I was 19.
Thank you for dispelling nonsense that the Who blew Zeppelin away. Other way around.
Cheers.
Put the headphone on trust me.
Well done m' lady. Well done.
The only single or shortened release permitted by them .

This was a time WHEN GIANTS WALKED THE EARTH 🌎 LED ZEPPELIN ❤
Live at Earls Court
May 25,1975 is the best version of, In My Time Of Dying, it has the best audio & visuals. Actually anything you would pick is amazing, they master every genre of music, Rock Blues Folk Funk Reggae Prog etc. Thank you for your reaction, & I hope to see many more Led Zeppelin reactions.
It's hilarious that this is the first Led Zeppelin song you've listened to.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Led Zeppelin. England's finest export since the Beatles.
"Kashmir" is a journey all it's own.
Live versions with Led Zeppelin, "Stairway to Heaven", "Since I´ve Been Loving You" and "Kashmir".
Try Whipping Post by the Allman Brothers ( studio - short version) (Live at Fillmore East - long version)
This band is shockingly good!!!! Try also Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven - studio version.
It's really difficult to believe someone hasn't heard this before.
But then again, everyone has their first time.
Be careful though. It's an awfully deep rabbit hole. : )
as fresh sounding as like it's 1970 again... and in 50 years it will still be fresh!
Well, 1969 actually. It's a 60s song. 😝
40 is so beautiful, and i love it 🥺
Lol. That is so much nicer than the last person who told me to lay off the botox and get a good conditioner 🤣 (FYI: I have never done botox)
Led Zeppelin are the most important band in Rock n Roll history.
Can you do a reaction video to “Queen Of The Riverbed” and “Enemy Of Progress” by Mandarones, please?🙏 (i’m playing drums in that band)
When you listen to Led Zeppelin you need to wear headphones. Trust me❤
That or live someplace where you can crank the volume to 9 or 10.
@@bobmorgan1575 when I listen to Led Zeppelin so do my neighbors
@josephlinnell9855 as they should 👏
welcome!
To really appreciate this song you need headphones
Glad to see Sleeping Beauty finally awakened by the kiss of "Whole Lotta Love". Now you can listen to the rest of Led Zeppelin's extraordinary discography.
@@fatherkenzie with earphones!
If you like that double neck guitar. Stairway to Heaven live Madison Square Garden 1973. won't be let down
Love your review....
You won’t have heard the best Zeppelin until you’ve heard Since I’ve been loving you, and Babe I’m gonna leave you
Kashmir live from Celebration Day is next.
4:53 I still have a similar polar neck grey jumper 🙃
The Kings of rock and roll
Music is life, my friends!
whole lotta love considered the template on which ALL OTHER Rock songs are measured.
I can believe you have never listened to Led Zep before but I can't believe you are 40 years old. Whatever you are doing, you should bottle it and make a fortune! 😂
Lol. I like you!
The softer side of Led Zeppelin. Going to California. That's the way. And Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp. 1975 Earls Court
Good to see someone interested in the best era of music ever!! By the way, were you paying attention to the lyrics? If you were, then you showed great restraint by not commenting on them.
I strongly recommend:
Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb from the Pulse Concert.
Profile Harum Whiter Shade of Pale and A Salty Dog from their concert with the Danish National Orchestra.
YOU NEED A PAIR OF HEAD-PHONES.
Wear headphones.
I wear good quailty ear buds but I do need good over ear headphones. I will upgrade in time once I have the funds.
@SwiftReactions I couldn't see them. You really need headphones to listen to Led Zeppeli, especially Whole Lotta Love.
You look great young lady.
I haven't been called young in a while 🤣
Can’t believe you’re 40! I always assumed you were in your early 30s…. I learn something new everyday:)
Lol. I like you. 😂
