Restaurant 168 is a popular restaurant. The curry noddles is delicious. I would finish the curry broth. Best way to eat curry noodles is with a Chinese soup spoon. You scoop the curry with your Chinese spoon and place the noodles on top before putting into your mouth. Slurping is a Korean and Japanese style. Slurping curry will stain your clothes. We call it "dangerous" food to eat, if you are going to have a business appointment later. Sometimes the curry stain is difficult to wash it off. Wan tan mee is equally good.

Its nice to enjoy street food on cool mornings or after a rain...having that bowl of spicy hot curry laksa on a sunny hot morning or afternoon after a heavy breakfast of roti canai with egg and fried meehoon, and mutton curry would be very sweaty and uncomfortable..towards the end of your video, you passed TK Bakery..the egg tarts there is nice and slightly cheaper than most other branded bakeries..dry wan tan mee with the dumplings and char siew pork should be nice to try too at that same hawker you had your curry mee..the price at the Indian outlet was very reasonable...oh by the way eat slow to enjoy the food..and prevent tummy upset..great video and sharing of info on your videos..keep safe

168 wan tan mee/curry noddles (or laksa) is an institution in pudu, so good choice (you should go again and try the wan ton mee dry with pickled green chillies, curry noddles dry , and where you had your teh Tarik - opposite is the famous TK Bakery for the siew Pau - (roast pork pastry) and the egg tarts- they are also an institution in that area - you should get the food there since you are staying around there, nearby is Pudu Plaza where the best camera shop is there YL Camera (you can also get them online) next to pudu plaza is a indoor market cum food court, there are some decent Chinese hawker food stalls inside too not sure if a lot of them are open now or not, at Pudu plaza, there is also a food court, you can get some decent Malay food , also just in front of Pudu Plaza on the road - some Malay stores - and to try something different you can walk to Restoran Tuck Cheong early morning for Chinese dim sum ( goo.gl/maps/P8y18th7jXQdFSJW6) but you have to go early like 6.30AM onwards before the crowd comes in(it's not the best but it is a good place to see local folks and regulars in that area and it's cheaper than restaurants - if you want a good one go to Hee Lai Ton at Shaw Parade, a few stone throw from 168 shop in a air con restaurant setting) - I am not sure if they are open now because of the CMOC - Pudu in the prime before MCO has a lot of various cuisine and food style - there are also other outstanding local shops such as the charcoal claypot rice Heun Kee Claypot - lunchtime and dinner (g.page/heunkeeofficial?share) and Yung Kee beef noddles (goo.gl/maps/Q6FXdCBrweJB6MdM6), and bak kut teh (pork tea soup) - (goo.gl/maps/Q6FXdCBrweJB6MdM6) - for proper Indian food you should walk over to berjaya time square, take the monorail and go to brickfields where you get proper Indian food or to downtown Lebuh Ampang for some different Indian cuisine (there is a difference between the mamak stores which you ate (Indian muslim) vs the non muslim Indians which has different cuisine - you should try all of them because in Malaysia especially in Kuala Lumpur, we have a real wide variety of multi culture cuisine and they are pretty good - you won't find such diversity in other parts of Asia - not even in Singapore. You have to explore more than just mamak stores mate to get the wide sample. There are also Malay food , Indonesian, peranakan, Thai, Viet, China Chinese etc all here around this area and slightly beyond - disclaimer I am not sure if all of them are open now or partially open but part of the fun is to go check it out and make a video - see what you find!

You can always ask for less sweet for drinks by saying "kurang manis" [Coo-rung ma-niece]. If you want the drink to be stronger in terms of tea or coffee etc just add the word "kaw" [Cow]. For example "Teh tarik kaw kurang manis" will be less sweet teh tarik with stronger tea flavor.

@@ATrainTravels I just passed by Pudu area just now. If you are staying at D majestic apartment, next to your apartment there is a petrol station. Behind the petrol station you can find a stall just below a big tree selling curry noodke in the morning. It is good too. Another one great curry noodke is at Pudu wai sek kai not far from where you stay, there are a few nice noodle stalls in the morning. One of them is my favourite curry noodle stall too. This street food lane also operate at night. One of the popular food is their rojak and fried chicken. Wai Sek Kai @Pudu

One more is the chicken porridge (best in town)(cheap and nice) near jalan pasar just at the corridor of RHB bank. Operate in the afternoon starting 3 to 4pm. Really nice. Check it out. Kun Kee Chicken Porridge @ Jalan Seladang

Not too far from where you ate the curry noodle there is one Yong tofu that is really nice. Try order a few fried items and the zhuicheongfan . A little pricy but worth it. Just at the corner of this restaurant, there is a lorry selling jackfruit. One pack only rm5. You can buy put on some salt, refrigerate it, super nice.

None of those restaurant names are actual name lol. The chinese shop at 5:08 (2nd destination) you're basically just reciting the menu (wan tan mee, curry mee, bubur@porridge & nasi@rice) and the last one, 'makanan (food) segar (fresh)' = fresh food.
