Just train your hands, make your hands stronger with a lot of training, That makes you comfortable for any racquet weight. I play everything from singles to doubles with 3U racquets.
Sorry, I know this video is two years old, but looking for some advice. I bought the Astrox 6, what difference does the Astrox 99 have for an intermediate/advanced player.
As a piece of advice, go to a store and try it out urself. Just swing it around, if it has strings ady on the better. Just get whatever feels right, technologies are not rly relatable for us.
Astrox 6 is classified as a begginer racket its a high flex racket meaning u wont need to put in as much effort for the racket to bend. The astrox 99 on the other hand is stiff, and honestly speaking might be even leaning towards extra stiff for the 3u ull need alot more power and technique to get it to flex. As for the differences, the stiffer shaft of the 99 gives u better control compared to the 6 and the weight is head weight/balance of the racket is different as well the 99 is the heaviest head weight in the astrox series meaning itll generally be more difficult to use as it requires better timing so like u were saying for an intermediate/advances player this racket would probably be more suited than the astrox 6, but hey if u still want to go for the astrox 99 they have a pro version that came out about a month ago now so u can go take a look at that one if ur still interested
Masud Khan Both equally good for singles. If you can I suggest you try them both out then decide. If that’s not an option then listen to what ppl say about the feeling of both and pick what you think would feel better for you. I have a ZF2 4U and for me none of the new rackets feel as good. Everything feels crisp and shots fly off the racket. For the 99 I find the shuttle spends more time on the racket during contact so if you want more control the 99 is a good option while the ZF2 has incredible power. Can’t go wrong with either one.
@@faisalfakrul3556 hmm if I compare it with my voltric z force, it feels like almost the same head weight, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless u’re really a top player since it’s old frame is not as thin or as aerodynamic as the new ones, so there’s a certain solid but sluggish feel when it moves through the air. If u’re looking for rackets in this range, go for smth like astrox 88d, it’s a much quicker frame and still has the weight in the head. After all, generating racket head speed is the most important thing.
we can only speak better for person X, real life sports arent like games, certain specs of the racquet wont add more "stats" on you. Unless you provide more your details about your own playstyle, singles or doubles, even better would be great to provide some videos of yourself playing, then we could definitely help you to choose better racquet. But, generally speaking, 3u is more for singles due to the weight, 4u for doubles for more reaction time. Grip size depends more the size of your hands, majority people use G4+ one overgrip. Hope that helps
We dont have 3U in the US but I borrowed on from a friend. Its so solid feeling. I made so little errors on touch shots and defense was kinda heavy feeling but I am used to my Armortec 700 and its way slower in defense. Lighter head weight but slower than AS99
nice review and video..could you please review the Victor Auraspeed 90s 4u?
How does the feel of the yonex astrox 99 racket for double play?
pls about astrox 88D
Nice for doubles
In ur website it only shows 4u u don't have 3u?
3U now added :)
Which string are you using?
Jeppe JHJ aerobite is a very good string for Astrox 99. Even Kento Momota uses the same string
What smashes better, ASTROX 88d or 99
Depends on how well you smash :) but in theory the 99 should as more head heavy
Which for an attackive player is better, 88d or 99
The player. The racket compliments only.
A powerful correctly stroked technique will fire away with either rackets without any fuzz
I am using 3u for trining before game because its heavy and on game using 4u because feel comfort and its light than 3u..
Oh wow! Good idea!

Christian Yoyada even balance 3u is okay but 3u head heavy is just too much for doubles ..
I second this. Only 3Us.
MensDoubles and MixedDoubles.

i am using the li ning woods n90 right now for 2 years. Will a 3U astrox 99 be a good upgrade for me?
Mo wood 90 is much better than astrox 99
woods n90 used by lindan??? how it feels?

@limtao4083
What was the real weight of your Li-ning woods N90 3u with grip and strings on.
How was the smash ?
What is the exact balance point?
@@raoanwar178might be sub 100g. Smash is good when u are borrowing the weight. But generating head speed takes a lot of wrists strength
For double player what u gonna rekommend 99 4u or zf2 4u
personally, zf2 4u is better, it's more maneuverable and yet powerful.
@@yulaobao thank you
Which one is better.
4U or 3U
G3,G4,G5 or G6

For asian people 3u or 4u g5 as we asians have smaller hands and you can always grip thicker to suit your hands
How many tension
27lbs tension strung in Yonex Aerobite for the review
Thank you
