Shearwater Teric One Year Review

I have been using the Teric for 1 year now and it has been a great diver computer.
I love the screen because it is really bright and vibrant.
The wireless charging is so convenient and is far better than those traditional coin batteries.
The company itself has incredible customer service, I've had to contact then twice and I found myself impressed both times.
The cloud app is very user friendly and convenient also.
The size of the watch and bulkiness however is the only aspect of the watch that might not be for everyone. Its large size might not be the most comfortable on smaller or bony wrists.
Is it worth your hard earned money? Only you can make that decision.
This computer Does everything when it comes to scuba diving, however outside of that it does not have everyday smartwatch or fitness functions.
I will be diving into that in a future video when I compare it to the Garmin MK2I.

It is a great dive watch, so many incredible features. Since that video I’ve switched to the Garmin MK2i as my front line computer and I use the Teric as my backup. The MK2i just suits my needs as a Dive watch, fitness watch, and sleep tracker.

I was looking into getting a Garmin Forerunner before the MK2i, so it kind of just made sense to me getting 1 Garmin.

Dropping your Teric. If you drop a grand of equipment. Just stop.

I've dropped mine once or twice. After a day of diving when the teric has no more use, I would release the clasp on the band and the watch just fell. Accidents happen, the sapphire crystal gives you just a little piece of mind.
