    Fully agree with you i have done about a 140 ish dives with my one its a great piece of equipment great for night and darkness dives .
    I dive drysuit occasionally and use thick 5ml gloves and I can still use the buttons and on a safety stop I have felt its vibrations
    Best feature i feel is the display and how you can tailor it for your preference I can glance quickly and see my depth / time / air as I have set it to different colours for each.
    Awesome technology and it will be cool to see how they improve on it in the future.

    I have a Perdix, I think for diving it is even better because of the amazing and even bigger display. As a watch I have the Garmin Deskent 2i. I do prefer the Garmin as a watch since it actually is a smartwatch as well and also dose all the other sports. Both great options tho.

      Yes but then you spend 2000$

      @@DOHCG well I already had the Perdix and I for diving Only I think it is much better then a watch sized computer, now I use both and a Divesoft on my RB

    I dive with the Perdix for exactly the reasons you hit on.

    Its a great dive watch, only thing that concerns is battery life if you are wearing it as a time-piece as well

    huge minus is battery life, runs like crazy on dive modes.

    I've got Descent Mk2i - I'd love to hear GUE review of that and see if our opinions are the same

    You can definately feel the vibrate through a neoprene drysuit. Ive dived around 50 dives with mine, the screen and layout and customisation being as good as it is, its still the best dedicated watch size computer.

      Great to know, thanks for sharing that!!

    Nico, what makes you if given the choice between the two contenders for this niche, to grab the Teric or other? Thank you.

    • @GUEdivers
      @GUEdivers  3 года назад

      For me, the Teric perfectly combines watch and computer into one, and has the best display of all the modern computers (in my opinion). The settings and functions are more or less interchangeable now between models, so it ame down to comfort, aesthetics and day to day usability. If you're a diver who also happens to be a watch person, I can't recommend the Teric enough!!

      @@GUEdivers Thank you. Your input has helped focus on what is most important when one is below water. I agree that the display alone is what makes this stand apart. Having to intervene in any way to try to read devices in in sub optimal conditions as you pointed out in a halocline etc, it just makes sense. If Shearwater had the Freediving mode in the Perdix, my choice would be again to have clarity.

    Not seen anyone using this computer but dive divas and princesses 👸 ... maybe explains why you like it.

      Oh Jonnie... Nico is very 2022 sadly labels like "Princess" as an attempt to offend are a bit... dated ;)
      He absolutely is a Diva though! And he's our big diva! lol

    I dislike to see that GUE makes paid Promotion for products and call it Review.

    • @GUEdivers
      @GUEdivers  3 года назад +4

      so just to clarify the "paid promotion" part: Shearwater were kind enough to send us a computer to test out. That was the "paid" aspect. The person who reviewed, Nico, was noyt paid by Shearwater and the review was honest.

      @@GUEdivers ok, Thanks a lot for the clarification. The video was marked by RUclips as "contains payed Promotion". So it seems I make a wrong assumption.

    Très bon produit mais j'aurais préféré le voir en situation de plongée plutôt qu'un Bonhomme parle et le secoue pendant 12 minutes

      On avait besoin de fair un review n'est-ce pas?
