I made it through this, but I had to walk in place at a slower pace, but I did it! (This is from someone 70 that was walking about 5-6 miles a day pre-COVID! And yes, my doctor knows I’m still having issues and encourages me to stay active as I can tolerate.) Also, I love your Walk and Talks! In general I use indoor walks with just music (Improved Health and Reps to Rhythm) because I can’t stand constant prattling/giggling but your talking is peaceful and ultra informative! And I love the side quotes.
Jessica! Thank you for your videos, which have helped me to get motivated to get started again. My PCP last winter insisted that I exercise 30 min daily to lose weight (10 lbs) but to be honest that didn't motivate me (BMI is a joke). Instead I started focusing on what WOULD motivate me - lower my cholesteral (which shot up last summer to +30 points), ease my back pain, and to help my skin rejuvenate (sparkling helps!). It seems to me that it's key to really find out YOUR "why" rather than society's standard especially when it comes to weight. Now, I'm excited to start my mornings with one walk&talk and my early evening with one walk&talk...thanks Jessica!

This was a GREAT Walk and Talk, Jessica, not only the walk part but just the wonderful quotes that you incorporated into the walk and hearing your fitness story. I loved hearing all of it. My favourite quote of yours (but I loved all of them) was, "Remember to say, My peace is more important, when you find yourself reacting to something that doesn't deserve your energy!"
Thank you so much for another great topic. The idea of "listening to your body" struck a nerve today. When others try to set a workout schedule, it never matches my energy. Also, if you learn to listen now, it helps later, during the menopausal process, when the energy changes daily (hourly . . .). When my energy is low, the 'walk'n'talks' are great. I'm thoroughly distracted and before I know it, a mile is done!

I absolutely love your workouts. I use youtube and have just about all your DVDs. I have to know what those gorgeous blue/turquoise hanging things are....they have been in the background of so many of your youtube videos....especially recently. I notice they are very sparkly in the sun. Your settings are so motivating. I truly miss Peanut and when I do workouts with her there, I usually just get teary eyed and also get a kick out of her presence. I appreciate having you and your workouts to keep me in shape. I am 67 and have been working out consistently for 27 years.

I needed this. I got very sick in early March with RSV, bronchitis and walking pneumonia. The recovery from this has been slow. It has been difficult to sustain my usual six-day per week exercise schedule since. I've had to regress a fair bit to accommodate fatigue and low energy.
I love all of your Walk n Talk Videos, but I just really, really loved this one. The topic, the outdoor setting, and the beat of the music were amazingly on point. Thank you for all of your Walk n Talk Videos. ❤
