35028 ‘Clan Line’ returns to Kent! | 22/04/24

35028 “Clan Line” is seen accelerating through Tonbridge on a loaded test run ahead of a tour to Bath Spa on Saturday, working 5Z87 to Stewarts Lane T&R.M.S.D. from Dover Priory! This would only be the locomotive’s second mainline appearance in just under two years!

That bridge reminds of the one that used to be at Ashford, Kent as I watched boat trains rocking through at high speed almost touching the sides. c. 1959. May have even seen Clan Line. I'm afraid my Ian Allen books disappeared many decades ago!😁
