'Clan Line' Returns 2024

On 22 April 2024, Bulleid 'Merchant Navy' pacific 35028 'Clan Line' operated a loaded test run from Stewarts Lane to Dover and back. The locomotive had just undergone a major overhaul and this was its first real test before running its 70th anniversary special on 27 April. The train is seen at Redhill, Surrey, having just traversed the line from Tonbridge.

Nice vid. It's always good to see Clan Line. It was the first Merchant Navy Loco that I saw. From a bridge just outside Bournemouth station in the 60's while on a family holiday, so this brought a few memories back.
