Pre-ordered mine (from AMain, no less), and received at the end of September. The kit is a great build...just take note that there ARE some errors in the printed manual - download the latest PDF version of the manual. Even with the latest version of the manual, there are still some problems, so I also highly recommend watching some of the build videos done by RC Driver, RCN, etc. This is my first crawler, and, based on things said in the RCC forum, this kit is a HUGE improvement over previous Axial kits (partly due to Axial now being fully integrated into the Horizon Hobby family, and partly due to most of the plastic pieces being manufactured in the Losi factory (using the strong, high-quality, Losi plastic). Enjoy !!!
I got the Capra coming in 3 days! Its gonna be awesome! I also just bought the new Pro-tek SL hex drivers, thanks to u Brett for sending me one to test out, I liked it a lot n had to get more of them, so I bought the rest from A-main
Hey @Brett and AMain...Thanks for taking the time to produce and share these cool videos. As a former HPI Nitro road car owner, (20yrs ago?? Already?!? Man...I'm old..LOL!!) Anyway..Im looking to get back into R/C and hopefully get the wife involved too, so your unboxing/review videos are really informative and helping me decide what I want. I'll definitely be creeping the AMain website when I'm ready to pull out my wallet... How about some more nitro/gas reviews and upgrade video's? Thanks so much all! Stay safe!!
Hey, welcome back! You have some amazing r/c options at your finger tips. You've got some great nitro options available, and with LiPo's and Brushless motor technology as good as it is, there are some incredible electric vehicles too. What kind of r/c'ing are you thinking; crawling? -Brett
Nice All those link positions let you experiment with Anti Squat and Anti Climb depending on wheel height and overall system/chassis weight with electronics and Battery.
marccyberwiz that pack is great - but the smaller Protek 1800mah 3s is a better fit ;-) www.amainhobbies.com/protek-rc-3s-90c-sigraphene-hv-lipo-battery-w-xt60-connector-11.4v-1800mah-ptk-5572/p975514
@@RC-ty5ym Completely incorrect! They must not have it on the proper switch or have it configured properly. The point of a DIG is as I mentioned above. 3 Position.
Brett should i change my front and back Axls to Aluminum or steel they don't break when i hit something by mistake going to fast which happens sometimes.
hi i was wondering your opinion on the traxxas nitro rustler and traxxas nitro slash. my nearest track is 1 hour away and does not accept nitro so im not going to be competing it. very limited suppies in Australia such as nitro as it can not air travel so it needs to be made here. and parts are limited from the lack of tracks and resources. the rustler and slash have electric replicas so parts are easy to find that way. i have around 500 aud as its my second rc and find electric boring as no one to race and its so quiet plus it always loves to break like all cheap 1 10 scale. want something to jump bash and hopefully make like a little dirt track spot somewhere and just have fun knowing i can not hold back. the rustler does not have parachuting issues but is very low for jumps so it will not be good at bashing. slash i can cut holes in tho body to stop parachuting but was wondering buggy or stadium truck. Thanks again
A truck like the Slash or Rustler will be more stable, where the buggy will get a little more upset from surface inconsistencies. They're all great vehicles, but to spend less time running after the vehicle to flip it over, I'd recommend a truck. Between the two trucks, the Rustler is wider, so it will be a little more stable than the Slash, but either option is a great choice. I'd say, pick the one you think looks best. -Brett
So i think your saying use the Aluminum 1s instead of steel less weight and more fun to drive i just find the plastic 1s are to flimsy not strong Enough to take beating sometimes they did not break or Anything like that i would just feel more Comfortable with the other 1s front and back.
Thats All i want is to have fun Racing would be nice though i just want to get the 4000kv Motor and the 11.1 Lipo Battery then it will be a beast coming in Anybody's path so Everything and Everybody watch out for the Irish flags lol!
My Truck got caught under a car today at the back of my house there is a pretty big parking lot with cars there today and the owner Accused me of putting something under his car when All i was trying to do was was get my Truck out from underneath the car then he takes my picture. And says to me hes phoning the police on me i said to him I'm sry if i offended you sir have a nice day sir.
Oh wow, maybe he was having a bad day or wasn't understanding the situation. Where you able to get your truck out from under the tire? On your other question, I would go with Steel driveshafts unless you plan on racing. Aluminum driveshafts are more for racers looking to shed all the weight they can, but will not be as durable as steel for bashing/just for fun use. -Brett
This country is becoming a big joke seriously so i phoned the police myself and told the ladie dispatcher. What happened and she almost started laughing but a person can take ur picture if they want which should be illegal unless u give THE permission to do so so I'm going to take his picture the next time i see and say to him what ru doing near my Truck.

I would absolutely buy this one ✅ looks like such a unique and capable rig! Two thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻🔥‼️ best axial ever.?????
This 👍 is for you this time. Brett!👌👍😍
Looks like fun!
Can’t wait to see more
Great review Brett! BUT.....This 👍 is for your little brother at the very start of this video. I saw the resemblance right off.😮😎❤
Haha, I can't deny it.

Dig unit and headlights are included on the RTR version.
I got one and love it. Thanks for the vid.
Wow that makes me want one so bad 🤤🤤🤤 have a great day Brett ✌🏼😎👍🏼
Another advantage to dragging your rear end is when you have got worms
That can be problematic.

I wish axial would put those portals on some of their other trucks. That dig transmission seems really interesting though.
I'm looking forward to a truck having those portals in the future. Should be great.

Nice! Can’t wait for mine to get here, ordered from Amain, just waiting for a Holmes Hobbies servo to come off back order.
Anyways have a great thanksgiving brett!
Nice! When will you guys have the Protek Shorty 3s 4100mah back in stock? That would pair perfectly with this Capra.

The DIG is 3 position. Full 4wd, FWD open rear, and FWD with locked rear.
Really?!
@@RC-ty5ym Yup, unless it is set on a 2 position switch or endpoints need to be adjusted.

I think the slash would be my choice as it’s going off road and doing jumps so I think I will go with that.

These should have been on the Unimog they missed a sales oppertunity they would have sod more if it had had them.
Just got mine , Will I be able to use my Tactic TTX300 ( radio) with TR325 Receiver ??
The TTX300 should work William. That transmitter is also 3 Channel so it can operate the Dig unit if you want.

🐐CAPRA on it's way (AMAIN). I heard the build instructions suck.🤔
Nice! The manuals did originally suck. But current kits should included the updated manual. Happy wrenching.
