Great video. What are the pros / cons of doing the reverse bleed vs from the calliper? Doing it through the calliper just seems like a much more straightforward way of doing it. Thanks!

First, loosen the brake lever clamp and move the brake lever to horizontal position and tighten slightly. Then proceed as you say. You may save yourselves some headache. ;)

Hi, first time doing brake bleed and got same exact brakes.
Do I bleed from bothe the lever and caliper or this was a 2 ways to bleed that I can choose which way to do it from? Thanks
Hello, you can do either of the two for the quick bleed.but if you want to be more accurate with the bleed and have more time, it’s better to do both. Ride safe always.

What app are you using for the angle finding towards the end of the video ?

I followed the instructions, but when I try to push the fluid into the tube it would not go, I loosened the bleed port screw as instructed, but the bike would not accept the fluid. I loosened the bleed port screw more, but it will not accept the fluid. Meaning I push the plunger but it will not push, I do have the bleed funnel installed and the stopper removed. No idea why the caliper will not accept the fluid. Please help.

Great video! You mentioned the bike needs to be tiled for rear brake, is it tiled in an angle where the rear wheel is higher than the front wheel?

hello idol bili ka lang ng bleed kit complete na yong tools nun. then allen wrench lang na 5mm pag nag tanggal ka ng brake caliper saka long nose pliers para sa brake pads. RS po 👊🏻

i've been using mt200 for like 2yrs? and never been bled it since then. should i bleed it? i have no problem with it, no spongy feeling, still firm.
no need if it’s still functional. but if you feel something then you must bleed it. ride safe always .

Maam question lang nawala kasi yung goma na takip ng mt200 ko jan sa may caliper ung kinabitan mo ng hose na pang bleed . Makaka apekto ba yun sa performance or masisira ba brake ko? Salamat 😇😇😇
okay lang naman idol basta naka lock yong bleed port screw ng caliper . pero much better sana if meron para d napapasukan directly ng alikabok or tubig. RS always.

@@sgnovo sorry idol wala akong alam na bilihan pero as long na naka lock naman po yong bleed port screw usable pa din naman yong brake . or pwd po kayo mag cut ng rubber na kasya dun sa butas para d napapasukan ng dumi. RS po always.

DOT means Department of transportation yan yong mostly na brake fluid gamit sa mga sasakyan at sa ibang brand ng bike brakes. pero pag shimano yong gamit mo mineral oil dapat yong ilalagay kasi mag kaiba din yong mga seal na gamit sa DOT saka mineral oil. RS po

The rear up!!? The bubbles can get stuck on the part where it is tilting, put the rear down and not up!!!!!
Sorry for the misunderstanding, what i meant for the tilted position is to put the rear down, i haven’t said up. “Tilted” is just too broad that it can lead to different meaning and i’m sorry for that. By the way thank you for dropping by and have a nice evening.
