We found a old international and a flat bed chevy out behind my new house I just happened to see it while building a fence .Judging by the trees around them they been back there atleast 50 years. both of them look to be 40's

I’ve been following your channel for a couple years now. The fabricating you have done on the Shoebox Ford, your shop truck and your Travelall has been incredible. Videos are interesting, good lighting, great shots of the work, it’s obvious you’ve got a bad case of OCD to be as quality driven as you are. What baffles me is how simple videos of, well, let’s be honest, junk, gets more views than the fabricating. Regardless, it’ll you have one of the best channels on RUclips so keep going until everyone catches on.

I bought a old 68 f250 for $600 from the original owner a few years ago. He said the original 390 started rattling less than a year later when his brother borrowed it. Older fella probably in his late 70s early 80s. He said " I took it to Ford and the warranty covered the engine but they didnt have the same one in the parts department so Its got some kind of hot rod engine that they had in stock. "
So I drive it the 20 miles home and knew right away he was telling the truth. It still had a motocraft 2 barrel on it and the horrible log style exhaust manifolds but it was a running SOB. So I look at the casting numbers which along with measuring the stroke with a wooden dowl when I got it home . Turned out to be a 428 which I thought it could be . But rather than a 428 Thunderjet which was the standard 428 it turned out to be a 428 PI that had a A scratched block with extra webbing in main saddles . They put the same engine the 67-68 Shelby GT 500 had in it and put the original 2 barrel carb , intake and crappy exhaust manifolds on it. Engine is now completely rebuilt although it had low original miles to begin with and ran very strong. It also has a much better 4 barrel carb , intake and exhaust on it along with a new home in my 67 mustang fastback. Trunk got the 390 out of a old wrecked t bird in it now. Both run great but one sure is faster than the other .

Left side ignition and front drums went away after 1972. 67-72 had this body style. This is a 68, that solid piece running straight across the grill right at the height of the center of the headlights is the difference between that and a 67, 69 had it but also had a logo spot in the middle of the grill. The side marker/f100 logo also came on board in 1968. The 70-72 had more of a two piece looking grill split vertically down the middle with each year having a slightly different look. 68 was also the first year of the 360 and 390. 67 was the end of the 352. That one looked like a 360. That was the first motor I ever rebuilt. I've had a 64, 68, 72, 74, 77, 78, 82, and a 96 over the years. My dad sold Fords from the late 50s til the late 80s.

Depending on the model, Ford kept drums up front as late as 1975, (my father-in-law's 1975 F250 Highboy still had drum brakes in the front axle). It sure would be nice if you can get the F100 and the hay rake out of the woods. There is still too much left of them to let the metal worms finish digesting them.

I think that color is what Ford called Lunar Green. Of course the white is Wimbledon . In 1967 on the Ford trucks it is impossible to lock your keys in the truck because you have to use the key to lock it from the outside. That was a one year only deal for Ford. There are a lot of one year only parts on the 67 Ford trucks and some are not repoped.

It's a 1968 or 1969 model based on the grill and custom cab badge. The custom cab badge and that grill ended in 1969. It has orange reflectors on the hood badge which started in 1968. Disc brakes didn't come available till 1973. It would be a 360 or 390.

67-72 half ton had drums the 3/4 ton had disc as option in 68. 73 was first year for the half tons to get disc brakes.

Looks a little newer than the '68 F250 I'm trying to resurect (been sitting since '79). The engine should be a 360 or 390. I believe the 352 was discontinued after '67.

@@PuddinsFabShop I looked it up. You would need to locate the previous owner and get the title from them or have them apply for a lost title and give it to you. Shame...really dig that truck.

For some reason I don’t think it’s driving out of there! Now all you need to do is claim title and get it going! In NJ, you can’t easily claim title! Take your time, and pull it out of there! It would be a great video in it self!
