Same here brother! I have a 20 year old that is an absolute nut and was even nutter as a little kid. My 14 year old is special needs but has inherited the "let's be silly and enjoy life" gene from her high school "class clown" dad! Life is good for dad and his girls!
@@bigsexymuthashutyomouth2546 hell yeah brother! I have 5 children 2 girls and three boys. They are all nuts. My oldest daughter is 18 and graduating this month. My youngest daughter is 15 and special needs after a suicide attempt 16 months ago. She is non verbal and not walking yet but her sense of humor is back in full force. My heart was broken into a million pieces but every time she laughs and hugs me it comes back around some more. I'm building a sidecar so we can still cruise around her vintage minibike.

I'm glad to hear funds are lining up to save that little truck. One of my high school friends rolled around in a similar mid '70's Datsun pickup, and he'd kill to have it back today. He and his father built it's engine, high compression pistons, weber carb, header, cam from who knows where. I remember Adam spending hours in his driveway polishing, and polishing again the aluminum valve cover, while his father assembled that built Nissan engine. The engine gleamed like a jewel, it was a work of art. Art surrounded by questionable hoses, dodgy wiring, and 3 different colors of body panel paint in the engine bay. It was rattle can black on the outside. It was loud, low, mean, and fast. It had a wicked idle from the cam. The exhaust was the header bolted directly to a cherrybomb, with a little turn down on the end. Drone and comfort were not considerations. It cackled, popped, and made all the right noises. Everything a high school kid could want.

I didn't get a close-up of the Tow-rolla roof rack, but that howling noise could be as simple as plugging the holes up on the tube ends! I used to carry aluminum ladders on my work truck, and the ladder rungs were hollow... (made a bad whistling/ howling noise when driving) just cap, or foam the ends closed. Good luck Puddin'!

Yep, that ol' B210 (or 120Y as we know them down here) Datsun would have run alright. They're more predictable than even a Chev V8 at coming back on a revival. Don't see many 2-door models and even less in auto....and we only got them in 1171cc (with just 69 horses) too! They were a much-loved vehicle though and I still remember pinching my Mum's B210 coupe for a quick joyride around the block when I was 14. She had gone out with Dad for the afternoon, else I would have never got away with it without a whooping! Great vid, mate. I used to play like that with my girls when they were younger too! Nothing like being whooped with a wet noodle to put Daddy in his place! LOL!

Back in the70s i worked for a car hire company ....we had several of these on the fleet....they were only a couple of years old and rusty as heck.....
Good old British weather and Japanese steel.
Make for a crunchy combo
Those were great little cars with a dependable engine. We took my hatchback model mug bogging a few times. lol They also used that engine up until 1982 so parts may work from a newer model 210.
The one I looked at for parts was a newer model.

me dad had an 4 door 210 with a A12 and over 552.000miles on and it never let us down and i learned to drive from it.
Had a 1987 corolla aswell and it just kept on going regardless of how much you pushit.

Right decision. Back in 76 I was still in high school. A guy I knew had one of these his parents bought for him brand new. One night just a few months after he got it, he had 3 friends in the back and another in the passenger seat. Driving way to fast in the rain he hit a very bad dip in the road which was curving at the same time,,lost control and flipped it several times. Everyone but him was thrown from the car. 2 died at the scene. Everyone else was hospitalized. The car was a total wreck, I remember there were pictures of it in the newspaper. Very sad.
In 1988 I Had a mint 1978 B210 hatchback. Electric Blue, manual trans. I miss that ole girl.
Get a tire put on the front bumper of the towrolla. Can push anything without crunching the bumpers.

My dad bought a 4 door model of that car new when I was about 5 years old. Not too long after, I opened the passenger side rear door to retrieve something I left in the back seat and walked away, leaving the back door open. My dad, late for work, jump into it a few minutes later ... never noticing that the back door was open ... and backed it out of the garage ...
The paint on that replacement back door never quit matched the rest of the car.

Got my son a free ‘98 Corolla 5 yrs ago, looks a lot like the Towrolla but it is dark blue with classic pealing clear coat racing stripes. Picked a bunch of scrap yard parts and made it a decent reliable vehicle. He’s getting a new truck soon and the Corolla is going to my daughter in a couple years. In the meantime, I need to get some strut spacer blocks and find someone to modify the rear struts for me so that I can give her a respectable car.
I liked the Noodle fight & the frog rescue.

i carry a semi mud flap i found along the road that fell off of a truck as an outdoor creeper. fits behind the seat of my truck nice and handy, and being rubber, keeps my ass clean and dry when the ground is wet and dirty. works good in the snow too, since i live up in the north. it even got my neighbor's car moving when he got stuck in his icy driveway a couple winters ago. threw it under the one wheel peel side for a little extra traction, and damned if it didn't work like a charm. so if you see one lying in the ditch, stop and grab that thing. they're slicker than snot on a onion lemme tell ya. edit; i got those forceum m08 tires on my f150 4x4. ain't got stuck since i put'em on, and four of them was $405 delivered to my door from the walmart website. can't beat that with a stick.
