Or, more precisely, based on the available data, only 1-4% of all the obesity cases comes from bad genetics.
Everyone else is just lazy and unaware what exactly they're putting in their body.
I went from over 230 pounds to less than 150 and all it took was stop being ignorant of the food I was eating.
Both obese and muscular bodies come mostly from the kitchen.

Epigentics largely control how our Genes are expressed. Food and Poison thst we invest or absorb plays a HUGE role in Epigenetics.
Genes require certain molecules to be expressed, what we consume largely determines whether our Genes are Fit and Healthy or Fat and Dysfunctional.

After that second ginormous pump of sugar, I started to feel a headache. I like my coffee with a spoonful and a half of sugar, so I can’t say “I just have mine black I don’t get messing with coffee blah blah blah” but holy fuck that is literally just a milkshake. Not even, because milkshakes have fruit most of the time. This is the one time where I feel the statement “diabetes in a cup” is apt 😵‍💫

I used to absolutely hate black coffee until I said F it and switched to drinking it. At first it was almost unbearable and not enjoyable at all until I invested in a French press and a grinder and bought decent quality coffee beans. After about a week or two I acquired the taste for black coffee and now it’s amazing drinking something that is extremely healthy and tastes good.

If low fat, high carb, medium protein worked... I would be a super model, an athlete, healthy. I am still outraged, enraged, mad as a cut snake. Most of my life I have been fat, obese, morbidly obese, sick, villified for being sick(none of us saw/see, fat, obese, morbidly obese as illness). I had tetracycline drugs
when I was a baby, I was gravely ill, the medication might have saved my life, but it messed my whole body. I started to become overweight from then... I tried everything to lose weight. I was hungry. I am so filled with rage at the lies, ignorance, and cruelty of my 'doctors'. Carnivore fills me, I don't feel hungry all the time, terrified, actually afraid, of fasting. Carrying more than 50 extra kilograms of weight every day... taking a deep slow breath, calming myself before I cry... eating beef and beef fat, some eggs, my beloved fat is feeding my bones , my muscle. At 60, my body is changing before my eyes, I am NOT hungry all the time, I eat when I feel actual hunger. I feel sad when folk speak nasty words about fat people, we still blame them for ignorance, for being fed bullshit.

Good point! But I think plenty of people are a bit misinformed by their GPs (whether it is because they gaslight their patients or are partly ignorant because much of their compulsory continuous education is provided for by enterprises who naturally want to sell the medicines they make).
The genetic factor may play in where the threshold lies with where the individual get sick. I have not reached a BMI at 30 (where a person is obese) but was diagnosed as pre-diabetic at a BMI of 29 after some weight gain after menopause despite being rather active with long-distance running. Two YT channels with people who have done bariatric surgery, Sean of Steel and Big T bariatric, was over 600lb before their surgery and escaped the diabetes doom. And then there is Lachlan Eranshaw, a young, very lean, triathlete who got diagnosed as type 2 diabetic when adhering to the high carb culture in endurance sports. He has left the old vlog on his channel what he eat in a day from before he was diagnosed, and then what he eat now when trying to fix it. He also have an episode where he and his brother ran a marathon distance and fueling with milk an not those high carb energy tablets, bars, gels or drinks.

I live in Europe, not a Dunkin Donuts in near 1000 miles and anything more than one spoon of sugar in coffee is considered a no-go. How can people still call it a coffee and not heart attack shake? An Espresso or a Cappuccino is all I need.
It's like food p0rn, you get half the daily calories from this sugar and syrup mixture. 😅

"Studies of monozygotic and dizygotic twins have unambiguously shown that there is a much greater resemblance in the degree of obesity between genetically identical monozygotic twins; this indicates that the resemblance is related to their similar genes rather than their shared environment."
So yes, genetics play a big part in obesity. And I write that without the crying laughing emoji, use of which is somehow trying to make fun of people who disagree with you. Of course, in today's world, much of the 'bad genetics' part could be overwritten with rational use of exogenous hormones such as testosterone, human growth hormone and T3, but since most doctors are so opposed to prescribe these treatments, you can not make fun of the people suffering. Instead of eating steak, I would have much rather have seen you have an IM injection of testosterone cypionate in this video. That would have made much more sense.

Only time I'll get a drink at Dunkin Donuts is when its like 95 or higher I'll get one of those frozen drinks. They do cool you down really fast. But even if its like 78 those drinks are so cold you can get a brain freeze. Best to drink water. Next time I go to Dunkin Donuts I'm just going to get shaved ice to drink and skip all that junk they put in the drink.

I asked her the average they put in one and she said 16 pumps. I told her to just put one in mine and honestly the lone pump was more than enough. Start asking them questions!

The areas where body fat is distributed somewhat depends on genetics. But that simply means that some people would have to work a little harder than others. Overall, obesity mainly comes from people being sedentary rather than active. Large amounts of fattening food, of course, contributes as well.
