Beautiful in my eyes. Fun tutorial. I added two stagnant dots to make a clock and an almost oval bezel around the outside with a 180° flip to the background gradient to give contoured look like your lens. I used to have a clock with the flip numbers as a kid.

Amazing work. You make it sound so easy which is not. At least for me.
Great stuff, subscribed. I hope to see more, especially game art materials ;)

what does it do to the image when you stroke to path and then break apart and then union? why do you use this? when do you use it? great tutorials im just interested in the why a bit more. you are awesome keep up the great work

It has the same effect as doing a Path > Outset (slightly larger image), but you get the added control of setting the exact width of the outset by setting the stroke width first. Basically, add a stroke of width X pixels, turn it into a path, then break apart + union fills the newly made "stroke" path up.

Have you considered putting a class together for Udemy?

I've thought about it, but it would have to be really long and detailed tutorials since I'm already giving away so much for free here on RUclips. I think it's a great idea, I just need to find the time to dedicate to it and come up with some ideas that I think would be worth paying money for.

I got all the way to the end, erased a 0 and typed a 1, then nothing appeared. After two hours of carefully following directions, going step by step very slowly and as almost without fail, I'm unable to complete the tutorial.
Think Someone is trying to tell me something?

As you can see from my profile image, I have been able to complete one tutorial, but not exactly to the specs. However, it was close enough that I saved it and still use it.
