- Take a ride with John in two wildly different Lamborghini Diablos. An early model with its raw character, handmade pieces, and less refined ride. And one of the last Diablos made, the 2001 Diablo 6.0 VT which was made under the ownership of Audi, with its flawless paint, and easier driving experience with power steering and power brakes.
Needed some rolling shots of the car while you where talking John. Would love to see the comparison side by side
Just what I commented definitely needed to see outside comparison
agreed 100%
I agree! I was lucky enough to see the 2 different eras side-by-side. Las Vegas it was the owner of a small time casino. Ironically he had Both in yellow.
Mind you, this was almost 20 years ago. If memory serves? He bought both of them for under $200,000. Total!!
Oh how times have changed.....
The home video of your dad going to Italy to visit Lamborghini is still hands down, one of my favorite videos you’ve done. Love the Channel, John!
Before studying history of Diablo when making scale model, I didn't Know they were so many evolutions of the car. A lot of details have changed. Thanks for your video which explain some of the difference.
Had the pleasure to drive a later Diablo 6.0....and one way to describe it- unforgettable
One of my all time favourites, thanks for sharing all that knowledge!
Love the Diablos. Timeless design! Fav version is the SV and VT 6.0......Lambo now is just another car company, nothing exclusive anymore. Very nice video
Thank you John ... Sharing these cars AND your incredible knowledge with your YT audience!!!!
I'm coming to you when I m ready to buy a Lamborghini. Love you're knowledge and passion!
The Diablo 6.0 SE in Marrone Eklipsis is what does it for me. Hard to match that stunning color combination.
Listen2that! That '91 sounds frikin' awesome! Love all the sounds. True Race Car with Sophistication
Beautiful cars... When I was a valet parker for 10 year I drive a few 1991,92 Diablos... yeah they are raw. but great. Thank you for sharing.
My favorite Lambo, had the chance to drive one a few years back and have been working towards owning one ever since.
So good! Always been a fan of all rhe now classic Lamborghinis. A random sighting of a Urraco in the Rolex parking lot inspired me to pick up a 77' Lancia Scorpion to to have something Italian and was inexpensive. A recent trip Japan though and seeing their Bosuzoko Lambo scene you get it and why they are the ultimate!
I still love the Countach and the Diablo to this day!!! I would absolutely love to get my hands on them!!! To own a few. They were the poster car of my youth! Still just gorgeous dream machines!!!
I came here via Schmee150's video with you. Saw the introduction video you made. And this is growing on me so quickly! Love your car selection and passion for them :)
This video would have been a straight A if we got some good outside comparisson shots of the cars as well :)
But this is defenitely what I like to hear more :)
Always wanted to see a video like this. the 6OH is my dream car... anything with it is beautiful
Superb video, love you’re passion , and detailed info on these diablos, well done
Amazing stuff, please keep more of these comparison videos coming!
John, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 6.0 Air Conditioning works so well because it's an AC Delco unit from General Motors (which would be the only "excusable thing" to use from the GM parts bin on a Lambo 😆)
Also- I believe the 6.0 Headlights are straight from a Nissan 300zx. Lamborghini installed a little carbon fiber trim piece on the upper portion of the headlight to cover the Nissan script.
The interior can't be raved about enough...its such a pleasant place to be, swashed with leather and carbon fiber, little to no panel gaps nor rattling, great seating position...no question I'd pick a 6.0 over a Murci.
Amazing video. Loved it.
I love me the early vintage Diablo's. It just seems right to me!
Love your videos and story’s. Keep them coming.
Another Wonderful video John! I Love that you share your passion with us. Stay Safe my friend.
Never got better than the original.
First Lambo I was ever in was an orange 6.0, I’ll never forget that experience!
He wasn’t kidding about the interior. Damn
Great video! Felt like almost on Daddy Doug Demuro!!!
Keep driving keep filming!!!
Definitely the greatest car of all time in my opinion. The 6.0 is my absolute favourite.
I love the early models. That dash pod isn't as bad as it looks once you are sat in it. The UK models had fog and reverse lights in the back that would melt if you drove it hard. You could tell garage queens from track weapons by how Dali they looked
just saw this dude driving his eb110... shit blew my mind.
Awesome video! Thanks
Jay Kay calls it the cosmic girl and that's why I love the diablo
John, you have such a hard job 😁.
Love your videos.
Disappointed there's nearly no footage or comparison of the outside, that's what I hoped for.
the last manual transmission Lamborghini was the gen II Gallardo.. great video .. would love to see a comparison with se30 and also VT in the mix
John loves Lamborghini’s
I love your content. Jimmy from Massachusetts.
The Diablo is still my all-time favorite exotic! 1999 is my favorite model year for these cars. I'm 6'5", so owning one and being able to comfortably fit inside of it is out of the question. Ideally, though... I'd like to have a 2001 6.0 and make it visually look like the GT model while retaining all of the luxury creature comforts and tech. Honestly, I really don't care for the looks of the 2000 and 2001 models... especially those wheels. I love the updated tech and power, though.
Would love to pick up a 1991 in the not too distant future. A 6.0 would be great of course, but I simply can’t afford the prices they command now and especially not as they continue to rise.
underrated channel
Early Diablos are the biggest thing for the future. The only car matching the F40
How cool would a updated version of the diablo and countach be.
With this video, you could be comparing the "PreLP" vs LP Gallardos, as well. Early Gallardo didn't have a front lift, the 04 - 08 cars being much more raw, the 5.0L sound, etc... With the gated shifters, of course.
amazing work john! could you do a comparison of the cars side by side? the exterior details, engines, etc?
So no one going to say anything about no seatbelt??
He’s going 30 mph on Biscayne Blvd., no danger at all. He times it correctly, he missed morning rush hour, mid day traffic and afternoon rush.
@@jca8251 Weird didnt know traffic laws change due to light traffic. Wear the seatbelt, simple.
Diablo 6.0 seems like a Murcialago without having to give up the far better looks of the Diablo.
I love learning about the differences between the same car..... from a 67 Nova all the way to Lamborghini!!
Hi John Temerian. I want you to answer me. the Early 91 they said it accelerates 0-60 in 4 or 4.5. If you will do the drop clutch technique can it accelerate at 3.8 with 492 HP? Now the 01 VT6.0 you said some magazines reported 3.6 or 3.7 0-60 now if you do the drop clutch can it accelerate at 3.3 to 3.4 sec? DO NOT BABY SIT THE CLUTCH IF YOU WANT TO GO VERY FAST!
Your videos are great. I found you through VinWiki. I'll buy cars form you when I got the lottery. 🤣 Thanks.
Why’s the steering wheel look warped?
Needed a lot more exterior shots on this one while you talked. You got the sauce but no meat and bread.
I like your shirt. Where did you get it?
Really nice video!
Thanks for sharing!
While the Diablos in general are badass looking cars, the build quality and handling isn't really good, especially the earlier ones...
The later ones are better for sure!
Saw the red Diablo parked outside curated today.
Sounds like I want a early diablo. No power steering and rawness appeals to me. But I’m a gear head
Does it not hav seat belts too...?
No exterior walk around and comparison?
If you want a daily driver buy the 6.0.
if you want a raw real Lamborghini buy the early 2wd.
This is the most Florida video I've seen this week
Seat belt?
Yesssss
one day...one day i will own a 1990 diablo, i need to
How do you not have a million subs?
Love your videos - so informative and your passion for the cars really shines through.
Can you make a video on gtr and civic
No seatbelts in the ‘91?
There is one, he just didn't wear it
No seatbelt?
Who thought mustard gold was a cool interior color lol
John are you double clutching the 91?
No seat belt on the first Diablo?
Id take an early 2wd over any that follow. ALTHOUGH; the early VT cars are the best looking.
....the last Diablo didn't have roadster version, did it?
I don’t care which Diablo, I just one before I die.
would have been awesome to see the cars from the outside...
There was a purple 2001 Diablo in my town guy sold it for a Verdi ithica murcielago
Did the 1992 Diablo not have seatbelts?..
So raw it doesn’t have seatbelts!
seat belt is optional in the first diablo...
All you need is a diablo gt and gt2
I guess also no seatbelts???
The last Diablo is the Murcielago though..
Imagine all the coke still stuck in the creases
Your passion and knowledge of Lamborghini's is honestly inspiring.
Thank you for the kind words!
He’s living Vice City on a daily basis.
Tommy Vercetti
Wouldn't that be a Countach?
vice city was set in 1980s in miami there was no diablo in 1980s only countach.
@@paulmccarthy4277 it a joke people know the diablo not made in the 80s
I'm glad that I saw you on VinWiki and found your channel, in addition I'm glad that someone as passionate and knowledgeable as you found these cars and know how to treat them properly. Thank you for sharing!
Huge compliment. Thank you.
The seatbelt John :(
If I crashed that car I wouldn’t want to be alive
@@phantom-nz2sx same
@@phantom-nz2sx
you wont be. Its a deathtrap
Im glad that we have you to share these cars with us
Wow! Thank you!!
It's not that I couldn't hear you over the engine,
It's that I couldn't hear you over that yellow leather.
The sound of the first one reminds me of the intro to "Cosmic Girl" by Jamiroquai.
I'm 75 and have never binge watched any show before. You are a great story teller. I hope you read to and pray with your child each night.
Thank you Richard.
You’re a great story teller. Keep up these amazing videos!
More coming!!
The goat has returned
Very intuitive and informative video. You should have filmed more with the exterior of both models side by side so we can also see the slight changes from the 1991 Diablo to the 2001 Diablo. Maybe next time, thank you for your hard work and dedication.
Stop saying "Listen"
Listen
What?
You need more B-Roll on the cars 😭😭😭😭
John your enthusiasm for these cars is freaking CONTAGIOUS! I love it!!
That's a huge storage area behind the seats for what the car is. That's how you sell that purchase to your wife
Amazing video. I use to own a blue 96 5.7 VT and will own my dream 6.0 one day
I found it easy to drive maybe because it was a later car with 4wd and power steering, I even drove it in the snow ❄️
The interior on the late Diablo is honestly nicer than the early Murcielago
I agree
Did he just sell us all Diablos? I'm sold.
