How We Fix a Leaking Pool Skimmer

How do we fix a pool leak once we find it? On a recent job, we discovered that both skimmers were leaking. Skimmer are one of the most common source of pool leaks. To stop the leaks, we fully excavated the old skimmers and replaced them with brand-new ones. To ensure they stay leak-free, we use techniques to reinforce and protect the skimmers, such as using sturdy rebar rods. To finish the job, we color match a patchback as close as possible, so the pool is not only free of leaks but looks great and should be set for years to come.
