Here's hopping! The first run failed for a variety of possible reasons. Support took over my computer briefly, which gave me an uneasy feeling. He reported I had 726 trojans on my router. Sounded so much like the phone scam I ended the call, and started a scan on the computer. I've had a ROKU account for years. Taking the TV back tomorrow.

Do you know how to set up an Amazon Firestick on HDMI. There's no device component for this. I need firestick to stream from PC to TV (I use the Kodi app on stick) since this feature isn't available in Roku or on the TV itself. Or, is there a way to add Plex app to Roku? Thanks.

One of my Roku TV's never connects to the WIFI until I go to Settings/System/Software Update
and then set up the connection again. I have to do this every time.
It is next to an Amazon Alexa that never has any trouble connecting to the WIFI.

So my understanding is that activation is only necessary for Roku & not for actual tv use? I am on principle dead set against activation of any kind. It is an unalterable, writtin-in-stone matter of personal ethics. Also, can Roku be removed/uninstalled from the set?
