I own a 2016 Ford Cmax Sel Hybrid ( Just 16.5K on it ). I bought it new and I have never been able to get 40 MPG yet. I found out that Ford Used a loophole to post MPG Ratings on the Cmax based on the Ford Fusion. So the posted MPG on the car's sticker was a bunch of " Malarky ", But I will admit that Ford Cmax has been fun to drive, and with plenty of Pep and go. I took off those run-flat tires that squeal on turns and installed beefier Cooper performance tires with TSW Rims, Now it's got a bit of sleeper altitude.
Keep it
How many miiles you got on the car? If you really want the Mustang that is up to you to decide to get it.
I have a Fusion and it has been one of the best cars I owned so far.
How far are you getting on a full tank?
Check your Blinker fluid! +_+
I currently work in a Ford service department for 42 years. If you want the Mustang, stay away (far away) from the manual transmissions. The 6 manual transmissions in the Mustang are very poorly built and have been nothing but trouble since their inception. Be very careful about buying a used Mustang, I have seen many used ones come many have low miles but have been heavily abused by their previous owner. Make sure you have a trusted mechanic check out your potential purchase carefully. Not to mention, you are going to have a very hard time with the Mustang in the snow unless you run dedicated snow tires in the winter. We just got our first Bronco in last week. It's a very nice vehicle that seems to be put together surprisingly well, but it's a first year model so take that in consideration. Fusion Hybrids do fairly well post 2016. Most that come in, which isn't many, usually come in for a faulty sensor/module. Transmission problems seem to have been corrected and never had any come in for generator/HV battery issues.
What about a 2017 C max hybrid ? Same drive train as a fusion . Fusion hybrid is made in Mexico C Max hybrid made in Wayne Michigan.
@@halaheleu7013 The C-Max was not a popular vehicle, at least in our region so we have only seen a handful in the last decade. I do know, much like the Fusion hybrid, the CVT was very well known for failure up to 2015. The CVT was revised after that and most of the issues went away. If the C-Max is like the Fusion hybrid for 2017, most should be free from major issues. We have seen a few with electrical/ build quality issues, but nothing drastic.
What's difference between Se and Sel 2019 Ford fusion Hybrid?
@@mike_zilla8604 Nothing mechanically, the SEL is a higher trim level than the SE.
@@gianmariavolonte4315 I know. Like what are the upgrades from SE trim to SEL. Like what do you get.
I actually want the Ecoboost Mustang
I bought one recently. The only thing I don’t like is the horn. It’s cheap sounding
It’s a Cvt not a dual clutch sports car
