I had mine up to 48mpg. Eco off for acceleration, braking and coasting on electric. Eco on for electric mode low speed, and coasting on engine at high speed. Also, from about 70mph and up, eco needs to be off, as the engine will rev much higher than in non eco mode.

Great video. I suggest every hybrid owner to calculate MPG manually. In my case the dashboard MPG said I got 41MPG and when calculated manually I got a whopping 36MPG.

upgrade the low beams to sylvanias H11 LED 6000K bulb and your good to go. The reason why there's no lag in the trans is because the car is hooked up with a CVT transmission. It's belt driven instead of having gear plates

I own a 2016 Ford Cmax Sel Hybrid ( Just 16.5K on it ). I bought it new and I have never been able to get 40 MPG yet. I found out that Ford Used a loophole to post MPG Ratings on the Cmax based on the Ford Fusion. So the posted MPG on the car's sticker was a bunch of " Malarky ", But I will admit that Ford Cmax has been fun to drive, and with plenty of Pep and go. I took off those run-flat tires that squeal on turns and installed beefier Cooper performance tires with TSW Rims, Now it's got a bit of sleeper altitude.

Before you go from D to P, engage your electronic parking brake. Now your car will not move once is into P after releasing the brake pedal. Also this keeps the pressure om the brake and not on very expensive eCVT. Also you do not have a hybrid battery under the hood, the right side is the electric motor. Both batteries are in the trunk. I just got my 2020 hybrid, your videos have been very helpful, thanks.
