Nice looking expensive parts. My personal recommendation is to ditch the sway bar as soon as you upgrade suspension (if it was properly planned based on the weight you are running). Been alive for years. Very informative video for the ones considering dropping some coin on this. Keep up the good work dude!

Thank you for watching, commenting, and your knowledge!💪🏻 Definitely expensive parts, I think I enjoy turning wrenches more than wheeling🤷🏻‍♂️

@@toyotatrailtrash it’s a solid combo, you wheel, you break, you fix, you wheel again.

I have an 03 4Runner. On one of my recent trips, I did some three wheeling. That was exciting!

@Tinkerersadventures recently did a comparison video with actual data and measurements, the results seemed to imply that contrary to popular belief, more articulation was accessible with the sway bar connected. Less articulation was measured when disconnected.

Yes he did and like all his videos, very informative! I want to do some wheeling and test it out to see. If you’re wanting disconnects for a Toyota, this will be the best quality and solution on the market. Thank you for watching and commenting👍🏻💪🏻

can you do a review of if the apex is worth is over the sliding disconnect links?

I don’t have any experience w/the sliding disconnects, from all of my research over the years on sway bar disconnects for Toyota, the sliding disconnects are noisy when disconnected and connected. The Apex is the same design as the sliding ones except Apex’s quality is awesome and the use of the air cylinder keeps the sway bar from banging around/making noise. Thnx for the comment.

@@toyotatrailtrash I have sliding links on mine, they do make a little noise on rough roads, but the main benefit over these is that they're a 10min install, and require no permanent changes.

@@tareskisloki8579 thanks for the feedback. I don’t have any experience with those just from all the research everyone seemed to say the same thing. As far as quality, my hat is off to APEX… they nailed it! 💪🏻
