I have rosacea mostly on my cheeks and I didn’t know centella can aggravate it. But I do know for sure that hyaluronic acid irritates my rosacea. Oat doesn’t and neither does licorice extract. It’s so hard to find face products that I can use, but for sure the aveeno calm and restore line is perfect for my skin. Thanks for the great information as usual Dr. Dray! You’re the best.

So Walmart carries this brand of hair care called “Hairitage” and they have a fragrance-free shampoo and conditioner. I bought it for my grandmother because she has extremely sensitive skin, including a sensitive scalp, and she absolutely loves it. Works well for Afro-textured hair apparently, but I think it claims to be for all hair types (I’ve never tried it, personally).

Happy Sunday! I'm just about to take my daily beach walk, so watching your nature scenes today made me smile. Honestly, getting out there and seeing the world without being attached to devices (even for an hour or two) does wonders for the brain! I also like observing wild life during these walks--I now have a "connection" with my local seagulls.🙂

I just tried that Bull Frog sunscreen because of you, and thank you for recommending it!! This isn't the greatest sunscreen I have ever tried for my preferences since I did find that it pills for me. HOWEVER, this is literally the only sunscreen I have tried that can be worn under clothing, so it is definitely staying in my routine just so I can apply to my hands and ankles without worrying about staining my staining my pants or long sleeves!😊

So strange. The exact same Bullfrog product, to me, has such a fume to it that it burns my eyes. And I’m not particularly sensitive when it comes to products and their smells. I also find that it pills a LOT if I try to massage it in like a typical sunscreen. Maybe the bottles I’ve gotten are weird because you mention it having such a light citrus scent in this video.

Thanks for the walk. I could almost feel the wind on my face. I have been having a hard time getting out due to a spinal issue caused by a birth defect and gravity (getting wiser) and pain and haven't been able to do my normal walks in nature and the woods for just over 2 years now and I miss it so much. Not sure if I will ever be able to again, but trying to learn now to adapt and still get to go out in nature.

Hi Dr. Dray 😊 I have rosacea, eczema, allergies, etc. Oat is the only botanical ingredient that doesn't irritate my skin. I found some decent fragrance free haircare recently. LOVE the No Nothing brand from Finland that you recommended. The Necessaire makes a great fragrance free conditioner available at Sephora. I also found a fragrance free conditioner from Paula's Choice on Amazon. I like the Vanicream shampoos, and Deva Curl has fragrance free curl cream and fragrance free gel. It's difficult to find fragrance free products that don't contain plant extracts, but it can be done, lol. Love Cerave, Vanicream, Avène, and Neutrogena. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with us!

In Australia we have QV shampoo and conditioner fragrance free range for sensitive scalp and gorgeous formulas my dermatologist recommended and I have coloured hair

Love all of your videos, Dr Dray. Thank you so much! With summer coming, could you do an update on sunscreen that is safe and effective for the most exposed and forgotten areas - eyelids (water/sweatproof? no stinging/burning?), lip stuff with spf and for backs hands? I apply, then wash my hands, and the the backs are unprotected. So many sunspots now. And any favorite sunscreen sticks? I use them for the part in my hair. I love summer, but it doesn't love me back.

Hi Dr. Dray. Would you recommend Bull Frog Quick Gel Sunscreen for the face? Especially for kids? I'm from a hot country (Bangladesh) and it is hard to get kids to use sunscreens, because of the uncomfortable tacky feeling of any cream sunscreen in humid weather. Bull Frog seems like a good option, except I am worried about the alcohol in it.

After I had a rash, fluid-filled blisters and subsequent scabs from an allergic reaction to a botanical sunscreen (never again!), I used Eucerin's eczema baby cream with colloidal oatmeal on my face and it was so soothing! What a miraculous ingredient!

Idk if it had to do with the oat or not, but the aveeno oat calming serum and then the moisturizer I have mixed feelings about. They worked well, but I couldn't use them after I had cried or rubbed my face too much. They would make the area feel flushed, almost like it was going to burn but never quite went all the way to a burn. Idk if they have phenoxyethanol in them or not, but I know that will make my skin flush and I hate that feeling. But overall, those products still did the job, I just had to be careful.

Can you put moisturizer on top of the neutrogena spf serum? I’m not sure the level of moisture in the serum alone would be enough for me.
I use and love the Neutrogena SPF serum. However, if I feel the need to moisturize, I do it BEFORE the spf
Sunscreen is always last (unless you're wearing makeup). Moisturizer first and then sunscreen.

Oh and on another topic Dr dre, I know you use the IRestore helmet but I don't know if you received or tried all of the products that actually came with mine the shampoo and conditioner and serum and the supplements. My question is about saw palmetto and it's Youth and women. I actually don't want to buy the supplement from the company and would like to buy the saw palmetto separately but I'm having difficulty finding out a safe dosage for women. Any advice? I know that they're only 702 micrograms in the company's supplement but in most stores they start at about 320 to 400 + milligrams and says not recommended for women but we do need it as well and some hair loss cases
