Refreshing to see reviews by normal golfers who might spray a few wide but that’s normal! Miss hits happen. Another solid review guys. Keep them coming
This is the comparison I’ve been looking for. I bought a Gen5 7 wood last month and I’m already plotting how to fill out my woods with a 3 and 5 wood. Thanks gents!
Started watching your videos a week ago, resulting in me going to get fitted at my local PXG(Indiana) last Saturday. I've always been team Taylormade, but that changed after the fitting. Started with an iron fitting and getting the Gen5; then I watched the driver video between stealth, ping, pxg gen5, so of course I had to go back and try the drivers the following Tuesday. I ended up ordering irons/driver and now I'm questioning if I should have just waited for Gen6 haha still need woods/wedges so those may turn into Gen6. Appreciate the videos and by far the most relatable for the "average" golfer. Looking forward to these clubs getting me under my 18hdc. Also, killing the shoe game fellas!
Thank you so much for the support Nathan. We really appreciate it! I think the irons you'll be set with the Gen 5. The Gen 6 driver may be worth hitting but I(Tayte) still love my Gen 5 Driver. Im excited for you to go into this new season with some new Gear! 🙌🏼
Good review. I absolutely love my Gen4 19° and 22° hybrids. My Gen4 3 wood is finally coming around quite nicely. Will definitely have to check out the Gen6 clubs.
I’ve got the Gen 4 hybrids and an 0211 5 wood. I’m happy with them and too soon to upgrade for me. This is a good review and nice to see the progression of PXG from one generation to the next.
If its still working good, sometimes the best move is to leave it alone. So I dont blame you for not upgrading yet. Thanks for watching as always Timothy 👍
I absolutely Love my Gen 5 3w and 5w. I tried to switch to the Driving Iron and a 3 iron, but they are not as consistent as my 5w. when I need a 220-230 shot, I know exactly what that 5w is gonna do almost every time. Great video guys! 3 wood same deal, little less consistent with it but I can get it down the fairway about 250-260 yards.
Great honest review guys! I was talking with my local fitting centre (non specific brand) as I wanted to test every brand and see what fit me best. I told them about the Gen 6 and they had no idea. Suggested they watch your channel! BTW ended up with the Gen 5 irons - first PXG!
You guys need to put the PXG 0211 Clubs in your testing as they perform well as I have them and I would put them up against the Gen5 or 6 clubs. I have hit my PXG 0211 3 wood 270, it's a beast and I am 62 years old!! Plus these clubs are the only clubs that actually took out all 14 clubs I had in my bag for 13 years !!!!!!! And yes I got a full bag PXG fitting 3 weeks ago and am very happy with my clubs!
Hi I am interested in the Gen 6 in the 7 wood I just can't decide which to get between the regular or the XF I am 59 years old driver swing speed of 90-94 mph play at a 8 handicap interested in your thoughts or advice which one may suit me best thx cheers from Vulcan Canada
I (Tayte) personally prefer the XF just because I dont feel like I lose really any distance and I get a bigger sweet spot and more forgiveness. Both feel very good! But the XF is the direction I went. Hope that helps 👍
One thing I don’t like about pxg.. is that there’s nowhere near me (Winnipeg, Canada) where I can try the clubs out. Always wanted to though. Would be afraid to pull the trigger on something I can’t be fit for. Great job again, dudes!
I have the Gen 4 5 wood and Gen 5 5 wood and I like the Gen 4 5 wood better. I still haven’t found a 3 wood that hits better then my old Nike Vapor lol
huge pxg fan, but after trying other brands, only gen5 irons and SD2 are staying in my bag. pxg driver and fairway metal are not as good as others like PING or Titleist
Yeah its weird how that works sometimes. I think that is awesome to see that sometimes you Dont need to upgrade every club when you get a new bag. Especially woods and Driver.
GEN4 0317XF It’s hard for me to compare as I just don’t hit it as far as you guys do. To be honest, I have played with hundreds of people and only a hand full hit it as far as you guys do. You are at professional level distance. I hope you both are low single digit handicaps, if not, you guys are doing something wrong. My driver only goes 220-230 on the fly and maybe 250 total. That’s on a good drive and from standard tee’s. I typically shoot around 80-85. I am 62 years old but have never hit it much longer than I do now really. TM SIM2 woods 1,3,5, PXG hybrid 22 deg, PXG 0311 Gen 3 irons 5-GW, and Ping Glide 4.0 sand & lob wedge. Also use a Titleist Cameron Futura X mallet putter.
Thats what is crazy about todays golf world Kevin, Everyone is becoming "Big Hitters" but the Finesse/ Feel shots take a back seat so there are still a lot of high scores out there. Thanks for the feedback and for watching 🙏
Surprisingly at this point we do not. Maybe soon 😏 We have fitting days here when the PXG fitter comes to our location but we bought these as normal consumers.
Lol, thats a hard hole only being 315 yards but protected by water the whole right side. I think he had that water on the mind and went a little hard left. 😂
5 Wood will be a little more forgiving with a Higher launch but wont go as far. The 3 wood will go Further but is not as forgiving. So it just depends on what you are looking for in your club. Both are great options but just a little different. Thanks for watching and for your support Daniel 👍

Thanks for watching Keith, we appreciate your support 🙌🏼
Nice review again. I like how honest you guys are about the products you test
Thanks Vincent, we try to be as honest as possible 👍
great video as always. keeping every shot in the comparison is a great idea. keep up the great work
Thanks for watching and the support 👌
Great video guys, really nice review!
Thanks Collin, Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the review! Super stoked to put them in my hands and see how I get on with them. Great content!
Let us know what you think when you do 👍
@@embersgolf most definitely will. I know I should be in the p irons but really want to hit the 0317’s.

Been thinking about the gen 6 hybrid thanks for the honest review that may have sold me!
Thanks for watching Daniel, stay tuned for more. 🎉

Excellent, honest review. Nice to see PXG pushing the envelope on technology in their woods.
Thanks for watching John 👍
Nice job on the fairway wood preview. Love the info. Bottom line, you need to try clubs before settling in on a purchase. Thanks!
I agree completely! Thanks for watching Michael

They make some stellar Woods 👍 The confidence over them knowing what they are going to do is huge 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting
Definitely the best looking generation of PXG yet!
I would agree completely 🙌🏼 Thanks for watching Bryan
I’m definitely getting a new iron set this year. Playing 10 year old pings. PXG is going in the bag soon.
I think your headed in the right direction 🎉 PXG has really stepped up there game in the last couple Gen's they've released.
Thanks for a great unbiased review!
Thanks for watching Conor 👍

Going in next week at the Orlando store to get fit !
Make sure you tell them we sent you in! We can get credit for the order
I love how you guys seem to keep an unbiased opinion on everything you test. Thanks for more content!
Thanks Dude, we appreciate your support 👍
Great review as always 👏
Appreciate your support Why Golf 👌
Rocking the gen 4 hybrid and just ordered a gen 5 fairway Wood (on sale right now)
Yeah, you can't beat some of the sales they are running
That’s why opinions in clubs is very subjective! Go get fit & get your results. Thanks guys for the vid Gen 6 looks so good
Your exactly right. The fitting process is very important even Essential to hitting the correct gear. Thanks for watching Josh 👍
The gen 6 look 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah they do! Thanks for watching
I definitely am going to look into the gen 5, 5 wood now
Its worth hitting. They make some great woods

Keep up the good work boys!

@@embersgolfawesome thx for your response would the BLACK OPS be even better than the GEN 6 XF ? if so why ? thx
Gen 6 XF fairway vs Black Ops Fairway ? which do you think is most forgiving and better all around ? thx cheers from Canada
Good question!
Gen 6 is 🔥. Keep up the great content boys.
Thanks for watching Ed 👍

Yeah that would be hard to do. Hopefully a store close to you can pick up the brand and start doing fittings so you can see what you think.
Another awesome video
Thanks for watching Bill 👍
Gen 6 looks good! Hey, what shafts are you usingin the hybrids? Tour AB, but which version?
We have the DI-85, Flex X in our hybrids. Thanks for watching 👍
5 fairway looks great!
Yeah it looks very good!
Looking forward to this one.... :)
Nice!
PXG hybrids are awesome.
They are cool
The gen 6 woos look awesome
They are sweet
Would you mind comparing gen 4 to gen 6?
That would be a good video, we will hopefully get that in the works to shoot 👍
I'm definitely interested in knowing when the gen 6 will be released.
It’s in stores now!
Headed to PXG as we speak to see if i can swing those woods
They are there!
Y’all got anymore of those gen 6 clubs to giveaway? (Me scratches my neck like a drug user) I need these in my life
Lol, I'm sure there will be more in the future. The Gen 6 Driver giveaway will be soon so stay tuned. 👍 Thanks for watching Vinny
Never had a 5 wood, have been playing a 2 hybrid.
Yeah a 5 wood isn't for everyone but you may like the way it feels. They are getting more popular on tour as well. Thanks for watching Austin 🎉
Cool vid bro's
Thanks Seeds
Gen 6 looks 🔥 🥵
Yeah they look great! Thanks for your support 👌
Let's get this St. Paddy's Friday started!
Nice
Nice vid!!
Thanks John 👍
getting fitted at pxg for the first time for a 3 or 5 wood next week very excited… gen 6 looks alot nicer in my opinion
I agree with your opinion 🙌🏼
I have the Gen 4 5 wood and Gen 5 5 wood and I like the Gen 4 5 wood better. I still haven’t found a 3 wood that hits better then my old Nike Vapor lol
Lol, if its not broke dont fix it. Thanks for sharing and stay tuned for more
huge pxg fan, but after trying other brands, only gen5 irons and SD2 are staying in my bag. pxg driver and fairway metal are not as good as others like PING or Titleist
Yeah they definitely needed to put more RND into the woods lineup. The Gen 6 is an improvement to the previous models.
What are yalls handicaps? Im playing at 8.6
Right now Tayte is right under 10 and Trevor is at a 16.
It was crazy how the Gen 5 was better for one and Gen 6 was better for the other!
Yeah its weird how that works sometimes. I think that is awesome to see that sometimes you Dont need to upgrade every club when you get a new bag. Especially woods and Driver.

Do you have an agreement with PXG, because you're always first on the new releases??
Surprisingly at this point we do not. Maybe soon 😏
We have fitting days here when the PXG fitter comes to our location but we bought these as normal consumers.
All I hear is Parsons voice PXG!!!😂
Lol, I know. We will never be able to forget that voice
The shot at 0:33 probably shouldn't have made the montage xD
Lol, thats a hard hole only being 315 yards but protected by water the whole right side.
I think he had that water on the mind and went a little hard left. 😂
Send me that prize! The Gen 6 look so clean.
Stay tuned for the winner Nate and Dont forget to subscribe 👍

5 Wood will be a little more forgiving with a Higher launch but wont go as far. The 3 wood will go Further but is not as forgiving. So it just depends on what you are looking for in your club. Both are great options but just a little different.
