I was fitted by PXG and love the Gen 6. I am a 18 handicap and certainly agree with your video. Also, as you know, the Gen 6 is the only club where they can easily adjust the weight to optimize your individual swing.
It is encouraging to see the improvement in the knowledge each of you have gained. The interactions you have with each other is entertaining to say the least. You may want to add a 20+ handicapper now in your testing to show when a club like the CB is above their pay grade.
That is a good point, we have some buddies that may come on for specific videos in the future to give some guidance to the High Handicappers. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Cool video. Probably worth noting that 7i smash factor is not generally going to be higher than 1.4 unless the 7i is really strong and/or the player really delofts the club at impact. 1.3 -1.35 is pretty normal/solid.
I’m back playing after four 2 years. I quit for 9 years. Finally got my handy cap back down to .5 . This video is going to help me fill my bag I just bought gen5 3011 p 4 iron I hit it for the first time Saturday and loved it! It felt like butter. I’ve been playing srixzon zx5 grate clubs just can’t nock them down and very hard to work.
Great video, guys. I just got fit for the Gen5 irons. I absolutely love the feel and added distance. Your past reviews of PXG had me convinced to give these bad boys a try. Thanks for all your reviews. I'm looking forward to your future posts.
Great content guys! I’m a huge PXG fan, especially due to their heroes program. The blacked out CB’s are on my radar for sure. I’m a mid handicapper as well, so this review gives me some some encouragement to pick up a set. Looking forward to more content.
I loved this vid thanks guys. Here’s what many should think about between these two clubs. Combo them. Play Gen 6 in your long irons so you’ll get explosive distance and feel. Go with CB in shorter attack irons such as 8-PW You don’t lose that much distance and you’ll get higher flight and spin to stick to greens plus little more workability. I just did this and my bag is sick. You get the CB’s bent 2% strong and they blend perfectly. It’s best of both worlds.
Great video again Gents, I think PXG has one huge advantage over all other big CB club makers ,they can balance the club to every player with the main weight ,no one else can do that of the companies you mentioned . my plan now is to blend my gen 5s with CBs 8 to gap (maybe from Embers ?) Thanks for all the hard work
Great info. I'm currently using the Titleist 718 CB and I'm about a 10 hcp. I've went to a fitting for the Gen 6 0311P and absolutely loved them. I tried the cavity back from PXG and didn't hit them well. Still haven't pulled the trigger yet, but don't see a downside to the Gen 6 P. I'm 52 now and feel like even though I'm a decent player that I could really benefit from the PXG Gen 6 P irons. Keep up the good work
I'm gaming the Gen 5 irons and absolutely love them. I'm afraid to swing the Gen 6, those could end up in the bag if I do. PXG ball is a great, the cover is soft and will mark but no different than a Pro V1. Can't beat the price either.
I really like the PXG balls. The alignment mark is great and the brilliant white make them easier to find on missed shots in my opinion. Really enjoying the videos. Will definitely look you up if I get to Denver area.
I’m a 12-13 handicap. Finally, someone saying that you don’t have to be a single digit handicap to play a cavity back ! Especially if your playing at 3 and 4 hybrid
@@wadepreston3401 I have the gen 6 players iron. They are awesome. I appreciate them on those days you aren’t striking it your best and or cold midwestern days.
They are both such great clubs. You cant go wrong with either. Suprand is right, on days your swing is struggling, the Gen 6 will help you get around better. I think Combo sets will be getting very popular in the next couple years. Thanks for watching guys🙏
Nice review again guys. And you should definitely hit up Rick Shiels. These days I’m watching your videos way more than his. Thanks for all the great giveaways.
Hopefully we can link up for the 'RUclips Masters' he keeps hinting at. Not sure we are big enough yet but would love to be involved. Thanks for watching 🎉
I love what you guys do. Great review. What if you had a tester that doesn't swing as fast as you boys. I'm not a long hitter and I'm curious to see how a mid swing speed golfer does in a club test. Keep up the great work!
Hi Guys!! Just curious. When you guys say you can’t feel your misses that much with the Gen 6 P irons, I am curious on how the PW & GW feel on half shots, pitches and chips? Do they have enough feel on those types of shots or no? Thanks!
I was a little late watching the video this week, thank you for the wedge. Out of all of the brands you have tried with the black finish what brand does the finish hold up the best? I like the black finish but am worried it won’t hold up.
I have seen the Gen 4 blacked out being played for about 3 seasons now and they still look awesome! I cant speak on other brands. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼

Welcome back! We’re excited for you being back with some sweet new PXG’s!

That is a very solid point Tim! Thank you for sharing 🙌🏼
Love the videos lately guys!
Thinking about getting PXG irons myself.
Thanks for watching! Let us know if you need any help choosing
Great video and comparison as always. Love your channel. Keep up the good work
Hey thank you Trey!!
Love the video guys! I’m still rocking the PXG Gen 3s!
that's awesome! Those are classic and great clubs

Gen 6 are great irons! If they are working for you, I would agree that they would be an awesome option 👌

Yeah good point 😂 Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Great reviews guys! I need to swing that CB and see if it's even in the realm of possibility for a mid-to-high.
for sure! Having it in your hands is always different than just watching it. If you're around CO you're always welcome to pop in and try
The anticipation for the WITB is killin me! Great video as usual!
Stay tuned Conor, it will be dropping soon 🙌🏼 Thanks for watching 🙏
Great video, I'm a 9 handicap but I would prefer the Gen 6 over the cavity. Anything that makes the game easier to enjoy....
That is huge factor, thanks for sharing Steven, I'm sure our other Lower Handicaps will like to hear that opinion. Thanks for watching 🙏
I really like the PXG balls. The alignment mark is great and the brilliant white make them easier to find on missed shots in my opinion. Really enjoying the videos. Will definitely look you up if I get to Denver area.

I thought I wanted the gen 6, but I am torn now

Great video guys! Now I really want to try out the cavity back irons. Too bad that I can only do that by booking a fitting through pxg 🤷♂️
Yeah, thats a good point. Still probably worth it 🎉
Pxg my favorite golf brand, can’t wait for the giveaway
Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Love it ! still keeping real for us mid handicaps
ha got to!
PXG look awesome but I’m keeping my Callaway Apex 21’s. BUT, I would like to try out the PXG ball!
Gotta love a good Callaway!

Great video. Love that PXG can fine tune swing weight with the weight in the back. Huge advantage. Would love to try the PXG ball.
Yes, makes a huge difference 🙌🏼
Those CB's👀👀👀
they're lookers aren't they!
PXG-Kaboom 💣 baby!!
Lol, Thanks for watching 🙏
Would love some PXG balls. I have full bag of PXG and I'm a 0311 USMC Infrantry guy so Parson's is the man. Have to support other Combat Veterans.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Due to your videos I have become a PXG family member. Would Love some PXG golf balls to match my clubs!
We love to hear that! Thanks for watching Chris 🎉
Your simulator room is great with lots of room.
Hey Tom thanks for noticing. It was a kick in the butt to get here but worth it.
always a great video. cant wait for the heads up comparisons.
Stay tuned! Thanks for watching 😊

That is a great idea! Thanks for watching Chen 🙌🏼
PXG balls please....bring it !,...lol good job boys...cheers from Vulcan Canada
Thanks for watching 🙏
Hi Guys!! Just curious. When you guys say you can’t feel your misses that much with the Gen 6 P irons, I am curious on how the PW & GW feel on half shots, pitches and chips?
Do they have enough feel on those types of shots or no? Thanks!
hey Joe! Yes the smaller swings with wedges there is better feedback. It actually had a pretty good feel. Great question I hope that helped.
Dang, those are great looking. I'd love to try the pxg balls and see what they're all about as well
Thanks for watching, Stay tuned for the Giveaway 🙌🏼
I hope you guys end up doing a video comparing the PXG CBs vs the other major brands.
Stay tuned, it is in the works 🎉 Thanks for watching 🙏
Pxg balls would go great with my Pxg irons!
Thanks for watching Chris 👍 Stay tuned for the winner 🎉
Great video guys! Considering these for my next set

Really enjoy watching you guys. The WITB should be good.
Stay tuned, should be finalizing that video very soon 🙌🏼
Great vid boys!! Have you done a review on the new XCOR2?? Keep ‘em coming
We have not yet, but we can get that in the works 🙌🏼
Great video again
Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Great video! I would struggle to decide over those two 🧐 more cb usually but maybe I would miss on good gen6 attributes!
Very true, Thanks for watching Steve 🙏
Interesting result, thank you!
Thanks for watching Erik 🙌🏼
Definitely want to try out the pxg golf balls
Thanks for watching 🎉
First time watching. Loved and subscribed. Curious about the pxg ball
Thank you Ken, we appreciate the support 🙏
i have gen 4 0311p and love them. they are almost to long. Cant imagine the gen6 distance
Thanks for watching 🎉
Those cavity backs look great
Yeah they do! Thanks for watching 🎉
Great video fellas. Curious to see what makes the bag
Stay tuned for that video 👍 Thanks for watching 🎉
Typically fine video. PXG balls? Never tried them, but would love to.
You may win them! Stay tuned Bill 🙌🏼

I just went by and couldn't find your place. I saw the embers living store, but not this.
It’s inside the Embers Living store. Sorry you missed it 😞 I apologize for that
How do the gen 6 feel vs the gen 5? I have the gen 5 black and really like them. Love your channel!
They feel very similar, I think the Gen 6 may be a tad softer but they both feel great! Thanks for watching 🙏
I love PXG and I been wanting to try PXG balls!
Thanks for watching, stay tuned for the winner 🙌🏼
Looking forward to what makes the bag
Thanks for watching 🙏
Awesome video ⛳️⛳️
Thanks for watching 🙏
Man I love those gen 6 I am so tempted but dang they’re spendy!
Yeah they are expensive but they are top of the line 👌 Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Review the new Kirkland signature wedges and balls
We have the wedges here! We should be recording that video soon so stay tuned.
I think the CBs have a cleaner look to them
Yeah, they have a sweet look thats for sure 🎉😍
Always love CB but head seems a little small? Great videos.
They have a very tight line from above. But only slightly smaller top line than the Gen 6. Hardly noticeable
Thanks for watching 🙏
I could always use more golf balls to donate to the woods
Thanks for Watching Edward 🙏
Interesting, good stuff
Thanks for watching 🙏
If you guys like the cavity back over the gen 6, can I have your gen 6??? Lol
But seriously…
Lol, classic Vinny. I was hoping for a funny joke but this made me laugh too. Thanks for the continued support Vinny 🙌🏼
@@embersgolf my wife also hopes a lot out of me and I also disappoint her too 😔
Are these guys fitters ? smash factor of 1.5 with an iron is impossible. Tour average is only 1.38 with a 6 iron
Your right. We meant for a driver
Good question on the CB? Hhmm 🧐🙄
Thanks for watching 🎉
Pxg CB boom 😂
Lol, love it!
This 20 min video could have been 10 mins
Thanks for watching 👍
Balls balls
Lol, yup
Irons don't have the same smash factor as a driver. I think 1.35 is ideal smash factor for irons.
I think Mid Irons are the same, 1.4-1.5 is the goal for tour guys at least. Thanks for watching 🎉
